I need to create the effect as faithful as possible to the beginning of the video, can I do it with just your tutorial? never messed with houdini before :(
This is awesome! Although it seems that Houdini 19 changed their pyro stuff again, so now generating smoke from one sided polygons seems to not work anymore. Learning that software is not easy
Thanks for your comment I am glad you liked the project file it may seem hard at the beginning of course, but if you just stick with it, everything will make sense and you will enjoy it so much Wish you the best!
Thanks for your comment I am not sure if I will make a tutorial, but I showed the main idea in this timelapse and the project file on gumroad if you are interested
Do you want to be a motion design hero?

Many Thanks , Massimo
oh wow i learnt a lot from this video :)
Glad you liked it :)
Mindblowing! Keep up bro. 🥵
Thank you very much :)
wow! thx, very useful setup to study on. The only question is: why did you transfer all the sim into C4d? Why not rendering everything inside houdini?
Thanks for your comment, Alex
There is no specific reason actaully
I am more comfortable rendering in cinema 4D, not sure why but this is the case :)
Wow great keep uploading Houdini tutorials please
Thank you
I will upload more videos
hey, how did you made the smoke interact with the pop grains???
I have not used grains, these are normal particles
Smoke and particles interaction was done using the "pop advect by volume" node
@@andrewessam2851 aight! thnx.

Did you export it as an allembic file?
Yes, The simulation was made in Houdini and imported in cinema 4D as an alembic file
