    wow! thx, very useful setup to study on. The only question is: why did you transfer all the sim into C4d? Why not rendering everything inside houdini?

      Thanks for your comment, Alex
      There is no specific reason actaully
      I am more comfortable rendering in cinema 4D, not sure why but this is the case :)

    hey, how did you made the smoke interact with the pop grains???

    • @andrewessam2851
      @andrewessam2851  2 роки тому +1

      I have not used grains, these are normal particles
      Smoke and particles interaction was done using the "pop advect by volume" node

    I need to create the effect as faithful as possible to the beginning of the video, can I do it with just your tutorial? never messed with houdini before :(

    This is awesome! Although it seems that Houdini 19 changed their pyro stuff again, so now generating smoke from one sided polygons seems to not work anymore. Learning that software is not easy

      Ah no, works with some tweaking. Thanks to your awesome file I figured it out. Thanks again for this awesome tutorial.

    • @andrewessam2851
      @andrewessam2851  Рік тому

      Yes, The simulation was made in Houdini and imported in cinema 4D as an alembic file
