Don McLean is a Grammy award honoree, a Songwriter Hall of Fame member, a BBC Lifetime Achievement award recipient, and his smash hit “American Pie” resides in the Library of Congress National Recording Registry and was named by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) a top 5 song of the 20th Century. A New York native, Don McLean is one of the most revered and respected songwriters in American history. Don McLean’s incredible legacy spans music from virtually every genre including blues, country, folk and of course, pop. In addition to entertaining tens of millions of fans for six decades, Don McLean has influenced a variety of icons in the music world including such notables as George Michael, Madonna, Garth Brooks, Tupac Shakur and Elvis among many others. Don McLean continues to write and tour extensively and in 2021 will mark the 50th anniversary of “American Pie” with a world tour.

I was born in 1969 and my parents had this album. I used to sit at their record player, 4 or 5 years old, and play this album over and over again, mesmerized. I'm hoping to see you on June 4 in NYC!

I love what you said and I am such a fan of all of your music! I am 61 years young and still I have such regard for your musical contributions, big and small. There are so many songs In your catalog that I wish more people knew about. I subscribe to reaction videos and I am always trying to get them to react to some of your more lesser known songs. I’m not gonna say that every one of your songs is great, because, that would not be true of any artist. But, I will say that your voice, your lyrics, and your guitar playing, are really up there! I have been studying your career, not just following your career, but studying your career so I know. That’s all I have to say. Or maybe, that’s not all I have to say!, Lol! 💙

I was introduced to Don Mclean's music 4 years ago when I found his album called "Don Maclean" in the back of a record store for three dollars. This was the album that contained Dreidel, Narscissma, Bronco Bill's lament, and Oh my what a shame. I still own that very record and I listen to it frequently, and I often think about what I would have missed out on had I never went to the record store that day. It makes me think about all the great artists just like you that I may be missing out on. Anyways, I love your music and I always will.

So what is happening now don mclean? from Australia I grew up with your music and I would hate to think you are actually on the wrong side of life, because what is happening in America and around the world at the moment is not okay. I have never related to rome. Where are you now and what side are you on when it comes to "good and evil" surely we deserve to hear from you when after you have blessed our lives in such a joyful and positive way. So far since, I now are very concerned looking back toward now. God help us all, as I am very disappointed and concerned.
We are to be true to ourselves, true to grace and true to God.
Any kind of destruction is not, neither is okay. God bless you, and God thank you for blessing us, thank God for you. Praise God for your farm, I sure do miss my farm and my faithful horse that was bitten by a snake and in his suffering my freind offered to shoot for ending Jack's suffering. It was the second horse I lost from a snake bite. Life can be harsh.
