4:30 Hi Alex! Is there any exception like "We are going home" (although I guess this exemple may not be considered because it lacks the preposition...maybe)?

Is the "king" an exception?
I love you Alex thanks ❤️🌹🙏
You rock!!!
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Any time. :)
but with words like school and hospital we can see things like "go to school","go to hospital", sometimes there's an article before so when to use and when not to use an article before these words
I'm a businessman from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰.
Very nice
Thanks! 🙂
Alex, thank you.Could you please explain what I have to use if I'm at the bank now but not my local bank or not the one I usually go to. Is it correct to use "the bank" here?
Yes. Even if it’s not your usual bank, you can say “I have to go to the bank,” or “I’m at the bank” if someone asks you where you currently are.
You can also say “I’m not at my normal bank. I had to use a different one.”
Thank you very much for the lesson.
We normally say I go to school instead of saying 'the school'. Does it apply another rule? I'd very much appreciate if you could give me an answer for that. Thank you...
Yes it does. If you’re part of a community, the article is usually dropped. The most common examples are: school, church, mosque, temple.
@@engvidAlex Thank you very much
You clearly explain everything I. This video.Thank you for doing this for us. Please make a video on concrete and abstract nouns using towns cities villages Africa Londonderry country continents etc are the concrete or abstract nouns. Can we say Toronto city or City capital or small letter. We live in Toronto city or City.Whiich one is correct?
“We live in Toronto” or “We live in the city of Toronto” are the most common. I hope this helps!
I like you thank you so much
1.25sp is good ✨
People are usually kind. I'm the best care giver.
What’s about "a" with uncountable nouns e.g. Alex has a great knowledge of English. Is it grammatically correct?
This is at the same level as "a lot of money"
Maybe "great" allows the article such as "lot"
@@jonatanfriederichs7519 I meant that the explanation in the video is a bit reductive
I'm a resolute student.. ♥

Hi sir.. I'm new here .. have a great day
Welcome! :)
Hi teacher 😊😊😊
Hello 😊
Cześć Alek - tradycyjne pozdrowienia ze Starego Kontynentu :-)

Anyone please help me in a question how we rectify our society through literature
Please anyone reply to me
School is an exception for rule #3, right?
Hello sir first cases
1 There is some innocent people killed in the clash
2 there is book lying on the table
Here both "there" work like
There =dummy subject
And second cases
1 There is killed some innocent people in the clash.
2 there is lying a book on the table .
Here both "there" work like
There = adverb
Am I correct. If i am right
Third cases
So when we use this sentence in subordinate clause
Like this
1 ..…........ Where there is killed some innocent people in the clash .
2. ............when there is lying a book on the table
Here my question is
In both cases
Is "There word " working like a
Adverb or introductory.
Please reply 🙂🙂
Hi there Teacher, I have a question for you related to this topic.
Which is the correct :
What kind of a person is your father.
Or
What kind of person is your father.
I would be glad if you could clarify it please
The second one is more logic...
When you ask for "what kind" the answer is one among the others... When you specify using "of a person" you restrict the possibilities to just one...
Thanks from The Russia
I am a Student ❤
an (a) honest man?

What is the difference between these sentences:

I am an civil engineer.
Hi Alex! When the new series dad jokes?))
I am Indian 🇮🇳❤
The cow is a domestic animal or Cow is a domestic animal
which one is correct
You can “Cows are” or “The cow is” in this case. Just make sure you don’t say “The cows” if you are referring to all cows.
I'm a teacher.
Why not " he is a greatest chef in the world " instead of "The"
Because he is alone in his greatness. He is at the top of the rankings. In this case, you must say “He is the greatest.” You can also say “He is one of the greatest” if you would like to say he is one of many great chefs.
I am a student
I'm also an engineer 😂
