The lack of a Byzantium path for Greece has to be one of my biggest gripes with base Kaiserreich. They let Bulgaria form Yugoslavia, they add a path for the Third Bulgarian Empire (which makes the insane requirements canonically possible), but they don't want Byzantium because it's "too unrealistic".

@@BobbiusRossius Zvenoslavia has a fair amount of content, more than any other Bulgaria at least. But I would welcome a Byzantine Greece even with the easter egg amount of content, or, hell, even a cosmetic name and color change, maybe a national spirit. I brought up the other easter egg paths because they discredit the notion of not adding Byzantium because of realism.

There is no Byzantium because the content for Greece is ancient. All of Greece is in dire need of a rework, which may or may not be in the works (I am too lazy to check). Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania all have (relatively) newer content.

@@novelseeker4410 Greece content is pretty old (though still fun especially when compared to other old countries), but that's not the problem. KR discord explicitly states that there isn't and never will be Byzantium because muh realism. If Byzantium were to be implemented as I suggested above, meaning a name and color switch and a national spirit, then it wouldn't take a lot of work, because the whole framework is already there - if Greece goes for the Megali idea, it can attack and annex the Ottomans and Albania, and even that event with moving the capital to Constantinople is in base KR.
