Dismantling a Singer/Studio 150 Knitting Machine for Deep Cleaning

Here's how to take both the bed and carriage far enough apart to clean the interior. In the movie, I am preparing for a Marvel Mystery Oil soak but the process is the same if you decide to hand clean with another solution. It is also very much like this for other similar models of knitting machine. In this movie you see Kathryn doing the work. Jack normally does it but we thought you would enjoy seeing the knitter rather than the mechanic undertaking the job. After the soak is complete, we'll make another movie about finishing the cleaning and re-assembly. NOTE: don't confuse this machine with the LK150 which is a plastic mid-gauge. This is a metal bulky.
