Thank you all… it’s been my pleasure to be here with you for 2.5 years. See you on the flip-side.
I started this channel in January of 2021 to share my knowledge of selling digital downloads on Etsy, or any other platform, as well as my experience with Print on demand. I do my best to bring you the most relevant content about selling print on demand and printables, creating interesting print on demand designs, testing myself print on demand products and their quality, as well as provide you with marketing tutorials, and so much more! I recommend many services and websites in my videos, some may contain affiliate links- which means that you can have a discounted price, or the same price, while I earn a bit of a commission for the referral- to help support this channel and the costs of producing the videos.

@@MeyTribe I have recently started using Instagram for POD. Not sure I'm doing it right. Waiting to learn your suggestions for Instagram. Thanks again🤗

I will not be "crushing" designs, just offering tips on improving them :)
@@MeyTribe Appreciate it! You're the best🤗
Love this, I haven't seen anyone else mention Alt Text as important. I just uploaded 3 pins and did not use that. Thank you for this! I even made sections to add pins from others to "play nice". I think it's better to remove the sections and just create a wishlist instead.
Thank you Mey. The most important lesson I learned today was to spend most of your time marketing and not designing.
Glad it was helpful!
Wow! This video is the most useful one I've seen about Pinterest and Redbubble. I didn't realise that you don't have to pin stuff from Pinterest to all your boards to play by the rules.... ugh! This makes much more sense to have separate boards for other stuff that's only really pinned because you have to. Thank you so much for this.
So I'm going to go set up a new account and also make sure I create 1000 x 1500 sized pins. Previously I'd just been using the ones from Redbubble.
I'm happy you found it useful ! And keep me updated if you see any changes in growth of the account on Pinterest !
BTW, the Google SEO video I did can also help you with the keywords for manually pinning photos for Pinterest
@@MeyTribeThank you, I'll make sure I let you know how it turns out. I've got the Google SEO video on my list to watch. I got a little distracted as I watched the tutorials you did about seamless patterns and again it's been another game-changer. So I've been having some fun with Canva. You have a great way of teaching and explaining things. It's very much appreciated :)

With the screen resolution, what I do is after the screenshot, I increase the resolution and size and save first to improve the quality of the image. Thank you for these tips.
Thanks for explaining Pinterest and creating a pin! I had been just clicking the Pin icon from within my site on Fine Art America to my collection on Pinterest, unfortunately this way did not give me any of the edit functions on the pin. By doing the create pin first in Pinterest and adding the HTML for image, I now have link to FFA and also edit function on all text, and ability to add to a collection. Your method was very helpful.
That's great to know !
Are you pinning to the FAA profile, or to your own made website by FAA?

It's not strictly blogging, just a website to promote your POD.
Tomorrow's there's a video on the concept of making a home decor blog to make money- affiliate marketing, POD...
But without a tutorial.
I will add a blogging tutorial, how to set up a blog, in July !
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing content. It is so helpful. Much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
I am somewhat familiar with marketing. It is definitely what I enjoy doing, even more so than designing. However Pinterest is definitely my weak point. I tend to use Facebook and Instagram with video mock ups from Place it! Thanks for the info
Good luck becoming a success on interest as well
I have question so you said instead of using one account for all your designs, it's best to create separate pinterest accounts for various categories of products like for example home decor? Right
This should be a good one. Oh wait all her videos are great :)
Ohhhh that's so sweet
I so agree!
@@SharonPerp I wish they had GIF comments like on Fb so i could do all these cute heartsy stuff
For an example, can I create a board for throw pillow and floor pillows separately and create another new board for pillows and add the same images that I uploaded for throw pillow and floor pillows but in collage form ?
If you upload your own pins and not pin directly from RB ? sure!
Though that seems to be a bit weird to me, no ? I mean, why ?
Agreed -- thanks again
I finally found you!
Here I am LOL
Hi, thanks for this valuable content. Am a new subscriber, also an absolute noob to Pinterest. Is it better to open a business account or just regular one on Pinterest?
The business account gives you access to statistics, so it's a favorite of mine.
@@MeyTribe Thank you!

You're welcome :)
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Thank you for this video.. I'm a big Pinterest pinner. I have more than 50 boards and some are huge too.
You know, BTW this Tag suggestion is Stupid regarding they suggest 15 Tags minimum?🤔😳😳😳 I have like a total of 100 designs to upload and that's a lot of darn Tags to do just to upload!!!! Google says 3-5 is fine! I wish I knew this before I almost got Trigger finger cos of that stupid suggestion from Redbubble?
I have a question related to an example of creating multiple pins as you showed with a T-shirt (quarantine cat) with the same link in all pins. you mentioned that we can make different kinds of boards then post these pins on the board which is the most suitable. should we post these pins with some gaps? I heard that pins with the same links should be published with at least two days intervals even if they are to be published on different boards. I think I've seen it on someone who has used Tailwind.
I'm new to this and studying pinterest before using it. Do we have to have different tags and description for each photos in order to avoid spam? I'm planning to upload different mockups of the same design and wondering about spam.
You have to have tags and description so that Pinterest would know what the pin is about. Different mockups won't spam at all
Learned a lot. Thanks for this video!!
Happy to hear :)
Any other topics you're interested in learning about ?
@@MeyTribe I assume we can use this strategy as well with merch by Amazon instead of redbubble. I have to look into it to see if Amazon allows us to use the links to our products. I'm new so I'd like to make sure. Dont want to get banned lol. Thanks again for your video!!!
@@elvis723 I never thought Amazon might not allow people to promote their own products, but yeah - better safe than sorry :)
The system totally applies to anything... Society6, zazzle, teepublic... I just chose Redbubble cause of their built in lack of pin-it access :)
Awesome video. Many thanks!
Many welcomes ! Lol
So is it a better idea to have teamed account or would having an overall account be okay?
You can have an overall account that has shared boards with other people :)
This was/is a great video. You got yourself a new subscriber. Query: I assume you have to make a separate Pinterest account for every POD platform you use? I.e. one for Society6, one for Spring, one for Teepublic, etc... Or is there a way to use multiple links? (Doesn't seem like something Redbubble would go for.)
Hey, not sure why you'd assume that, as Pinterest was built for people to save in one place - photos and ideas from all over the web.
I would more recommend having separate Pinterest accounts based on Niches... So for example: if you're selling awesome patterns on Society6, and cute text phrases that are funny on Teepublic>>
You can have separate pinterest accounts for S6 and Teepublic, OR-
Have an account for home decor- sharing both home decor items from both platforms, and have an account for clothing/accessories - sharing from both platforms.
And RedBubble cannot "go" for anything... Anyone can upload whatever pins they want to Pinterest.
Whenever you upload a pin you either take it from that website, link goes automatically, or manually place the link yourself. RB, and any other platform, has no control on that. As for the 1 link to Website you can place on the Pinterest bio- you can link that to a linktree or links page link you've made- to include all options.
@@MeyTribe Thank you. I see the error in my thinking. I have never heard of a link tree. I will study up on it. Seems like it might be a turn off for a buyer to be taken to second page of links. I’ll look into it. I appreciate your time and in-depth answer. I put my first pins up immediately after watching your video. Easy, thanks to you!
@@MeyTribe Hi Mey thank you!, truly priceless, you demonstrate and explain everything so clearly. Do you think that you would be able to do a linktree/Pinterest video on products for multiple marketplaces, Teespring, Redbubble and how to get your website 'verified' on Pinterest? Thanks once again
thank you
♥♥
You're welcome :)
Hey there @Mey Aroyo from neighbor country of n. Macedonia :) first of all i want to thank you for your content, i learned a lot. i have a question about this. i have done the manual upload and filled out everything, but when i go to my pin i dont see my description that i put in just product details about red bubble products and a link to go buy it. has something changed from the time of you uploading this video? thanks Mey, lots of love.
Great video! Do you use hashtags in your pins?
Not hashtags- tags :)
@@MeyTribe thank you! It seems I remember from a long time ago it was recommended to include hashtags.
@@Jan-lp9uw I never used it... It's mostly a feature used by people who use pinterest on mobile phones, as the hashtags pop up with numbers next to them, like on IG.
But hey, maybe I will start using hashtags, who knows LOL
This is I need.. Thank you😊🤗
I couldn't save the photo with the first method. The save button doesn't shown up. I tried with the pintrest extension, without it, on google, on opera. Yes.. I opened "promote your artwork". Are you sure you're not using an extension? What browser do you use?
Of course I’m using an extension. There’s no built in pin it to Redbubble.
@@MeyTribe You need Pinterest save button installed. It seems you have to use Chrome. I normally use Opera. This extension isn't available for this browser.
@@yeye99950 I have the Pinterest save button - I even showed it in the video. I’m kinda confused now lol
The save option was disabled on certain pages on redbubble - it still works on other pages - as shown on the video.
Hi, do you post daily on Pinterest?
How many pins do you have on your account?
And how many pins do you create for each artwork?
Hey :)
This tutorial is for people to use Pinterest for RedBubble, as I said in the video of how I promote my RedBubble products- my system is very different.
I have several Pinterest accounts- for several affiliate blogs, in several niches.
So I pin both from my own shop- to different accounts, as well as promote my own items in my blogs.
You can create 2000 pins for each single item with 1 design, make 1 pin per artwork, do whatever works for you and looks good on your Pinterest account(s).
Hello Mey, I saved my picture in Pinterest and added a redbubble link and saved it, but there was no button for publishing. Is it now published or am I missing something?
I'm so confused. I'm able to pin directly from RB to my Pinterest acct with their little pin it button. But it doesn't always show up the info for the products.
The data passed that way is automatic- you have no control over it. It's one of the reasons I usually pin manually (that & the size problems)
I have been trying to pin my Redbubble photos Pinterest and it keeps telling me “Sorry we could not fetch the image” whenever I try to publish the pin. Do you have any idea on why this could be?
I'm not sure which of the 3 options to pin from Pinterest you are using - so I can't really help with that... Have you tried uploading directly to Pinterest ?
Hello Mey! Hope you are doing well! Recently I was seeing different videos about Pinterest. I'm a bit reluctant because I've heard many say that you will not have sales thanks to Pinterest, there are too many copycats there, etc. So what should I do? Does Pinterest worth it? Have you seen sales thanks to it?
Pinterest is not a magic maker. If no one likes your designs or ever searches for them- you won't see much of it. Same as on instagram, and on the RedBubble platform itself.
But Pinterest is by far the biggest social media for shopping, especially if you're marketing for free. it had helped me with POD, Etsy printables, Affiliate blogs, and so much more!
Hi Mey, I like your videos a lot. If I sell prints on society 6 and tshirts etc on Redbubble, some of which have a common design, how do you promote both on Pinterest?
Well, if they are under the same niche - you simply add both to Pinterest.
You can upload pins with links to any website
I have a question about what may end up being considered spamming by pinterest if that's okay? I was thinking of making a whole account for my lgbtqia+ merch, which would also include boards like drinkware, bathroom decor, bedroom decor etc, and I was wondering what would happen if I also made a separate account for something like mugs, divided in boards like 'liquid art' 'cute drawings' 'photography', and made a lgbtqia+ board there as well, pinning in it the same mug pins I created for in my lgbtqia+ account?
like if I created a pin for a lesbian flag puzzle design on a mug in my lgbt account, can I pin it in my mugs account too, for the lgbt board? Not repost, just pin? or is that considered dishonest because I'm pinning my own pins?
Sorry for the late reply, been overwhelmed with comments lately, and only finding the time now... BUT-
You won't spam Pinterest if you upload 20-30 minutes a day... And share from within the platform.
Having an LGBTQ account soudns awesome, with boards you can pin non-competitive posts, for example: famous gay couples, places with lgbtq flags on them, etc.
You can have multiple accounts, and yes- pin from one to the other :)
Just make sure to take your time, don't do it like a robot, and pin from within the system :)
BTW, there's an LGBTQ design tutorial coming up next week, seen so many people into this niche, and I have been designing for that for years, so- why not ?
@@MeyTribe absolutely, thank you so much for the answer! I'm also doing it like: 'lesbian flag puzzle' board? Then I make a lesbian aesthetic board! And so on, so I'm never out of other people's pins to repin! But being able to repin my own if I make an account that involves all niches like a mug one will be absolutely *perfect*! Thank you again!
@@MeyTribe forgot to add that I'm also doing the lgbt flags as puzzles collection and every time I add one now I think of you because 'puzzles' lmao and hey if you are ever falling behind with comments and overwhelmed don't worry about replying to mine timely or even ever, honestly, in the end I tend to find the answer of whatever question I have in your next videos anyway 😂❣
EXCELLENT!! THAANK YOU!!!!
You are very welcomed :)
Amazing simply Brilliant.
Thanks 😊
you're good

what if redbubble does not have the option to pin to Pinterest? Mine does not have that option.
Thank you, Mey! You’re awesome!! I have a question: how often should I publish pins promoting my pod store front in RB? Would one pin a day be enough? What do you think? 😄

@@MeyTribe I will try, but Friday is family film night!
@@RelaxingMoods Sounds awesome, what film are you watching tonight ?
Do you have good results with Pinterest? I've been posting a lot of material for about 7/8 months but with few effective results. But I use pinterest direct publishing, I don't do it manually where you can customize text, titles and put text for images. Do you think it makes a difference?
Well
First of all - yeah, it makes a difference for sure.
But the difference also depends on your seo work on redbubble.
Success in Pinterest is also not just about the system but the designs... if a pin isn’t being clicked on - maybe you need a different design ?
I do know that the added activity within Pinterest is the most important, as well as the fact that majority of my clicks are on mockups I made or collages.
@@MeyTribe thanks! I will try this!
Have you had problems with Canva creating links to the Pinterest pins you create? I'll create them for each artwork, they'll work initially, but when I finish and go back to double check they're not working.😵💫
I didn't have that problem, but that's cause I never use Canva to "share" things. I always download them and upload them to the social platform manually (for that reason...)
Hi Mey, I already check the box in my profile to have the pin button, but it doesn't appear any pin button in my images on Redbubble??!! You know why?? Thank you❤❤❤
Im not sure what you mean ... on your “promote artwork” page or on individual pages of designs ? (Cause as I said in the video - the second option doesn’t exist on redbubble )
Ana, I got what you mean. You have to install/download "Pinterest save button" and then that button appears on every product/design :)
@@tinam.9810 but not on product pages as Redbubble blocked that option :)
I do pinterest advertising every day for my redbubble products. Have not made any sale yet. I am so sad about that:(((
Hi...I'm here waiting lol :P
Can we create a carousel pins like how we have in instagram
Yeah, manually create a pin and select multiple images to upload to it and it will offer you a carousel
Why do I have one board in saved instead of created?
Created shows the items you've uploaded manually to Pinterest, without a board. Saved - shows the boards and sections you've created, including the items you've pinned from Pinterest.
超實用!!! 感謝分享!!!! ❤️
感謝收看!
I will probably be using the manual one just because I'm a control freak. LOL
how to website claim verify on pinterst
Follow the steps on Pinterest and copy their code? Unless you meant to claim a redbubble shop- which you can't - as RB is not YOUR website :)
Hi Mey, I submitted this question on your "Ask me anything" video, but I just realized that you may have been asking for more of a personal question for that video😜! Anyway,, I thought I would ask my question here instead. I am currently using Tailwind for scheduling to Pinterest, but they don't have a spot to fill out the "alt text", so I'm wondering if you would recommend using this service or just straight up create directly on Pinterest. Also, when I use Tailwind, my pins are "saved" as opposed to "created" on my Pinterest Account. Does this make a difference? I was actually thinking that when my pins have been published (through Tailwind), I could go in the next day and spend a few minutes filling out the alt text, but as I mentioned, they are not appearing as "created", therefore I can't edit them! I'm new to Pinterest and I would like to make sure I am utilizing everything I can to get ahead of the "game", so if Tailwind is actually going to be a detriment, maybe I should skip it all together? What do you think? You mentioned in one of your videos that you might do a Tailwind video, which would be awesome, but I would like to know if you think I am wasting my time using a scheduler like Tailwind right now? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
The ask me anything video was actually few days ago :)
I don’t use external services for Pinterest for exactly that reason :)
And if I research tailwind maybe I’ll make a video about them, but I’m not really using them to feel comfortable recommending them...
I’ll check them out further once I restart working on my Etsy shop :)
Thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ok I keep getting "Sorry we could not fetch the image" from redbubble What does that mean?? What am I doing wrong. This comes after I choose my board
Maybe you blocked it somehow from your own settings? It's hard for me to help without seeing the screenshot.
If you're on our Facebook group you can upload this problem there with a screen shot

Thank you very helpful. A new subscriber😇Is it possible to make like a bussiness account and put a board for shower curtains as you've mentioned focuses on general pins from other people on bathroom flower vases and bath tops and add some of my own RB related products like shower curtains. Make another board for home decor and make the same as the previous board and so on .. so I can collect all my work in one account. Please advise.
You can make a board for Bathroom Decor, with sections for : Bath Mats (your pins), Shower Curtains (your pins) and other sections for pinning from Pinterest, for example :)
I hope that answers the question :)
@@MeyTribe and this board beside other boards for t shirts, mugs and home decor. I mean all of them in one account, is that right? 😊
@@Ash-dx4yv It can be in one account, and can be in several...

Not sure how being Indian will make a difference in sales. You make more sales by making better designs, and marketing them to the right audience. I haven't seen your shop to give advice on the designs or on marketing it, sorry.
why does my pin icon not appear ?
Do you have the Pinterest Chrome extension ? That's what creates the pin button.

Less scary than some emails I got after that video from people telling me I am a (curse-word) for guiding people to promote me on their own Pinterest LOL
How do you get followers for Pinterest?
You post on Pinterest, using well designed pins and tagging them accurately. Then you pin from others. It's a search engine, like Google...
Also- followers on Pinterest mean nothing. I had an account with 10K followers that brought me very little clicks, and an account with 2 followers that got me so many clicks and sales.
My redbubble account has been suspended, don't know why
I didn't copy any content
The only people who can tell you why are Redbubble.... I'm sorry.

What is the advantage of using different Pinterest accounts compared to just creating different boards within one account?
Easy way to improve the resolution is to make a change directly in the picture link, at the end of it you'll see something like "1000x1000" which is the actual resolution, you can modify it in the link bar to "1500x1500" for example and then press enter to load the new changed link, and you can save the image with 1500x1500 resolution
When you take a 1000x1000 pixels photo and stretch it to 1500x1500 pixels- you're increasing size- while REDUCING resolution...
And it also doesn't actually help with Pinterest, as they "asked" for 1500x1000 :)
Stretching out photos like that would be a way to make them less appealing as people with large screens will see them as a bit blurry or pixelated.
can you please get to the point
Well, there are several points in that video, and no- I don’t have a time machine to go back and re-record the video to your liking…
If you don’t get the point of a 1 hour tutorial showing different methods to use Pinterest - you don’t have to watch it :)
@@MeyTribe I know I don't have to watch it, if you get that offended by people's questions and remark, it seems to me that maybe 🤔🤔 you shouldn't be trying to record/make videos
@@c-yolife-rkc1 Offended?
I was being sarcastic while laughing at this LOL
I think you made the choice to read it as if I was offended, which I have no control over :)
I genuinely think that comment was funny
Hi Mey, Thanks for the awesome video, so much helpful info! I have been selling POD (not very successfully!) on Redbubble, Teespring and Merch by Amazon for almost a year and I am so glad I found your channel. I recently started marketing on Pinterest, after watching what feels like endless videos on the best practices. I really like your approach. One question I have is, do you feel that it is worth it to save your mockups to your computer and naming the image using your keywords or is this just an unnecessary step. It is very time consuming and much easier to just use the Pinterest extension right on Placeit, but if it gives me better chance at being found, I will keep doing it. My second question is, can you pin too many times to the same URL. I noticed in your video that you had 5 or 6 different images all going to the same URL, for example tshirt, hoodie, mug, pillow, etc. I heard that this can be "spammy", I can't remember where I heard this, but I'm terrified of having my account suspended. I have to say, I love that you do this and was so excited to see someone approaching Pinterest this way, but now I'm not sure if I was misinformed about this "rule" or "best practice". I feel like I could keep asking you question after question, but I'll leave it there for now! Thank you so much!
Pinterest is awesome, but yeah, it takes time and effort, same as for POD.
You should do that, with mockups, if you're uploading them on to your own website. With Pinterest is could help, but it would help more on Pinterest to fill out the ALT part that most people ignore.
It's not spammy if those are different photos, most bloggers I know make 40-100 pins for each blog post.
As long as you keep that balance of pinning more from Pinterest itself- than from your own computer/links you'll be fine. Make it an everyday thing, 10-12 minutes per day. Not all at once.
And if you have more questions- I'm here:)
@@MeyTribe Thank you so much for getting back to me, I will carry on using keywords when downloading my images. I am so relieved to hear about multiple pins to the same url. You are so helpful and I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I am now on to your video on creating a website for FREE! Thanks!
Are hashtags not a necessity for keywords? Thank you
Hashtags are keywords on Instagram - they are searchable that way. It's not the case with Google, Etsy, RedBubble or Pinterest :)
@@MeyTribe thank you! I see so many youtubers telling us to hashtag. After researching I realized it's not needed nor does it help. Love your channel. I wonder what your thoughts are on Redbubble's issues, eg not being able to select clothing colors to fit your designs, cannot change kids and toddlers hoodies colors (set to gray), cannot resize design on kids clothing. Designs made specifically for men or women have no option to only display tshirt on either sex but automatically goes onto both which I hate. Would love your thoughts on that. Don't see anyone else ever bring this up. Thank you
@@just_call_me_desi Hmmmm OK -
1. You can select clothing color for all shirts and hoodies other than kids hoodies. It's not an endless selection as they are not doing all over print on most of their designs.
2. Sizing on kids items I think they just make it smaller to make sure it fits.
3. It super crucial to nor deactivate the other gender!! i buy a lot of women designs on men's tshirts, cause of the sizing and the layout, and I know many women who do so, and many men who do the opposite!
Finally! Someone made a video on this!
Really feeling the excitement through your words lol
Appreciate your efforts ..Pics that you used in grid are placeit mockups or you downloaded them prehand ?
I believe these were placeit mockups that I downloaded before the video (so both LOL)
Thank you, thank you, from Algeria♥️♥️
