یہ قصہ قاضی ابو بکر بن محمد بن عبد الباقی بغدادی کے حالات پر مبنی ہے جو حافظ ابن رجب حنبلی نے اپنی کتاب "طبقات حنابلہ" میں نقل کیا۔ قاضی ابو بکر ایک بار ایک تھیلی کے مالک کو اس کی تھیلی واپس کرتے ہیں، جس میں پانچ سو دینار تھے، لیکن انعام لینے سے انکار کر دیتے ہیں۔ بعد میں، وہ مکہ سے رخصت ہو کر ایک جزیرے پر پہنچتے ہیں جہاں وہ لوگوں کو قرآن پڑھاتے اور خوش نویسی سکھاتے ہیں، جس کے بدلے انہیں مالی مدد ملتی ہے۔ جزیرے کے لوگ ان سے ایک یتیم لڑکی سے شادی کرنے کی درخواست کرتے ہیں، اور جب وہ اسے دیکھتے ہیں تو حیران ہو جاتے ہیں کہ اس کے گلے میں وہی ہار ہے جو انہوں نے پہلے کسی کو واپس کیا تھا۔
In English:
This story is about Qazi Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Abdul Baqi Baghdadi, as narrated by Hafiz Ibn Rajab Hanbali in his book "Tabaqat Hanabila." Qazi Abu Bakr once returned a pouch containing five hundred dinars to its rightful owner without accepting any reward. Later, he leaves Mecca and ends up on an island where he teaches people how to read the Quran and also teaches calligraphy, receiving financial help in return. The islanders then request him to marry an orphan girl, and when he sees her, he is astonished to find that she is wearing the same necklace he had once returned to its owner.
