I think the phrase "wasted potential is worse than no potential" suits this discussion. A show with no potential (AssWar) you can throw in the trash without thinking twice. A show with a little potential (SAO) may take you a moment to think "you could have been good" before throwing it away. I think that's where the idea that SAO is worse comes from. Hey Digi, love your work. What I think Heavily is trying to say is that people who walk into a show with relatively low expectations are less likely to be hurt in the long run. Asterisk War showed little to no promise in it's opening episodes, but to those who continued, they didn't lose much. SAO showed quite a bit of promise with an interesting world and some decent (I use the term "decent" loosely) plot threads that kept people tuning in. The fact that the show went down the shitter is what makes it worse, because some people had high hopes for the show, but were let down, while with a product like the Asterisk War, they likely walked in with low expectations, and when it failed to meet even those, they were able to brush it off. It's sort of like getting a bad meal from McDonald's vs getting a bad meal from some medium level restaurant (let's just say Chili's, I think that's a pretty universal place). At McDonald's, no one is expecting the fry cook to somehow reinvent the cheeseburger, they expect cheap and fast food. You paid say $3.50 for a burger, you are going to get a burger worth $3.50, and if it doesn't meet your expectations, you're only out $3.50. At Chili's let's say a burger runs $10. You expect that burger to be quite a bit tastier than that $3.50 burger from McDonald's. If the burger does not meet your expectations, you lost a lot more than twice as much money than that $3.50 burger, which hurts quite a bit in the financial department. (I'm a poor college student. @ataraxia7439 is she though? From what I gathered of the live stream and her final video it kinda sounds like she couldn't make enough money doing content creation full time and had to find another job.
@@LeeTSimba oh maybe I really don't know. It seems like she's spending time with her boyfriend and doing more stuff helping other people with their content but I could be wrong. Hope she's doing well.
Imagine if a writer like *_Neil Gaiman_* looked at the ideas and themes of SAO and decided to write a novel about them. That thing would earn a Nebula award or a Hugo, easily.
BrokenMoonStudios imagine if sao was written and acted by people in the late teens to mid 20’s and was actually good then stop imagining because sao abridged is a thing
SAO - "It's better than nothing" Though personally, in the whole bad ideas vs no ideas, I think I'd much prefer no ideas, because a negative is still lower than a zero. And a bad idea is potentially more harmful than nothing. So I guess you could say... "I would rather have nothing"
i agree. A bad idea can be offensive, no ideas unless executed in asinine ways basically can. A bad idea invokes "Just because you can't, doesn't mean you should.", while none pretty much, again unless the person doing it does it in ways beyond even insanity, cannot. No ideas is Zero. The Number Zero is empty, yet full of infinite possibilities, a bad idea............isn't. Let us give examples! I shall start with a Bad Idea. 3rd Birthday, everything about it in terms of writing, characters, and even monster design is a bad idea. (I, and the goons of Something Awful, Blame Motomu Toriyama.) to give you an idea, the phrase 'Refreshingly Vulnerable' is used. Yes really. Now for no ideas. Call of Duty It is the same game for the most part, with little change in gameplay or story with only gameplay changes. A series that only recently has even begun to try again, but let's go back to the Black Ops games. No ideas, but the gameplay is functional, and as a game it doesn't present any new ideas. Now if we ignore the games in terms of how while the gameplay and merely focus on the ideas aspect, bad vs. none, we have the answer. No ideas is preferable to bad ideas in many scenario, not all cause it all comes down to the idea in the former and the execution in the latter, but if you asked me which is the more likely, i'll pick none. in fact i dare say Asterick War vs. SAO is one of these rare examples where that's not the case, due to how badly the lack of ideas is executed. Then again i am not known for being an impartial person so take this post with..........about 5 containers of salt.
When he says a bad idea, he doesn't mean an idea that makes things worse than nothing. He means something that's not good, like how a 20% is a bad mark, but it's better than a 0.
SSBr0z So if you have nothing, what's gonna happen? Nothin. If you have something that's so bad, you could laugh at it and make fun of it. Asterisk war? I'd go to WWE raw these days and find better writing. And that's a fucking insult to a show.
You know, people shit on School Days all the time, like it's the worst anime of all time, but at least that show had some really unique and out there ideas and it did some things with the harem genre and it went all out with them.
+ReiaJade School days has the most unlikeable main character I've ever witnessed but everyone loves him. Thats probably what pisses me of and sickens me the most about the show. I'm all for hentai, I watch some of the weirdest shit at times, but the show was just gross, and it mostly had to do with that piece of shit main character. Maybe I can't change your opinion about it, but that show made me feel dead inside just watching it.
Ooh! Okay, THAT is fair. "Anime that I've finished". I've listed plenty of anime as to which are worse, but if the standard is "That I've finished" then the opinion ENTIRELY becomes subjective and any percentage of objectivity is thrown out of the window. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I like the mentality of 100% subjectivity and 0% objectivity when it comes to anime.
+Travis Spence Is that so? Have you seen all of the awful anime out there? There's a situation that is objective, and that is when a general consensus agrees. Just like how science determines facts, objectivity comes from common acknowledgement. However, I find that Digibro's analysis are entirely subjectivity, and not objective, because he hasn't watched anime that are worse. SAO and Ass War are entirely mediocre.
+Travis Spence You're missing the point. The point wasn't that it was scientific, but rather the means of determining objectivity. Common acceptance determines objectivity. If Digibro's opinion is only backed by a small percentage, then it is subjective only. However, if a mass agrees with him, then it is generally considered objective.
In my biased opinion, i'd say Mahouka is better than all of them. I know many would label it the same light novel trash and have a lot of beef with Tatsuya's personality and/or character but i just liked it :S
+JD002 I'm a sucker for overpowered MCs and boy is Tatsuya op af, but he's not bullshit nonsense op. His brand of op is completely justified in context, it makes sense and is even portrayed in the "underdog secretly overdog" manner, making it even better. I for one also really liked his constantly composed and gentlemanly personality.
+Rakushio i don't dislike MC that are op, it depends on how it's made, look at hellsing ultimate, one punch man or kara no kyoukai, those work perfectly.
No Digi, you can't let the meme die, SAO must be the worst show in existence for the sake of 4chan shitposting and therefore for the sake of Internet itself. It's easier
YOU FOOL, How can you be so blind! Tis not the death of one dank meme but the birth of another! Imagine a world ragging on both Assterisk war and Shit art offline!
dude calm down I get you really like sao and hate log horizon but I swer every comment from you I come across from you sounds like you despise anyone who has a slightly different opinion
Haven't watched the other but SAO is a glorified romance anime set in an MMO, that's about it. Same as Gate, promosing premise untill you realize it has nothing to do with what you thought it would be about. Want a good MMO anime? Watch Log Horizon.
I found your channels fairly serendipitously when looking for Kill La Kill stuff and I've enjoyed many of your videos and generally found your analyses very insightful, but I decided to comment in this case because you didn't really explore what I find the most striking and evocative about this image. You mention that the image is powerful because it works to evoke their romance even without Kirito and Asuna in the frame but for me the very point is the absence of them from the frame. Their relationship allows the two warriors to put down their swords, to have a family, to get away from the fighting and have a real life - the two swords put down together is striking because it evokes that that powerful romantic ideal.
Wow, you missed the most important parts of the depth of that image. The lake is the one place in the entire series that kirito and asuna were able to live a peaceful life free from the constant worry of dying. The swords stuck in the ground represent their wish to put down their arms and live together in a peaceful setting like this in a fantasy world. At the same time it conveys that their warrior past is a part of them now. The looming tower in the distance is clearly shown in the show as the way to go up to the next level of aincrad. It breaks the horizon as a looming and dark figure just as the need to escape aincrad is a fate that they must face at some point. They can't be free to live their lives in peace till they escape. The light reflects off the lake, and both their swords in the twilight, as all three are important symbols of hope in this world. And for all the darkness that the tower embodies, there is a glimmer of light to it too, as there is the brief hope, and possibility of escape from death and a dark future.
Sometimes a really bad story can really grab your attention simply because it has one or two aspects about it that are really, really good, and your brain latches onto those. Next thing you know you're spending half your free mental cycles imagining ways you would expand upon or improve the original, and eventually what you think of when you remember the story isn't the story itself, but the non canon version you dreamed up with all of the improvements added in. For me, that's Dog Days. Dog Days is terrible. But it did, like... four things, I think, amazingly well. Like stunningly well. Better than virtually any other anime out there that I can remember seeing. And it did everything else terribly! But those four things stuck in my brain, and when I think about Dog Days, I'm not even sure whether I'm remembering the actual plot. I think part of what I remember might be the non canon improved version of the climax that I invented while jogging to lose weight. I get the idea that SAO is like this for some people. Like, what they really remember about the show is the part where the main characters have a nice romance in the middle of nowhere with no one else around, and then some fights happen for some reason and the characters they like win in the end and its nice.
I'm not gonna lie, there is no question that I will have this in background for everything as I've done before the videos were gone. I hope everything is working out and I will be waiting for G for Anime alphabet, but I do appreciate these videos again. All good wishes, Trixie the Golden Witch.
That image is why i watched SAO and ended up watching anime. Found that image made it my background and later searched for where it was from then ended up discovering anime I have to thank SAO for good art .................and awesome music
In the image of the crossed swords, I think the lake might be the one from their in game home (and met Yui), and the flower may represent Yui because Yui had a dress that colour and shape in the second season. (I do not know if he mentioned this, I'm currently paused in the middle of the video and just wanted to write this out before I forget)
My Partner and I often get hung up on talking about stpries like Sword Art Online. I tend to be an overly nit-picky person who understands where issues in shows comes from and can easily spot them, where is he's a more casual viewer and doesn't really care if there's issues if the overall story is enjoyable to him. Not saying either one of us is right, just that's how we watch shows differently. One of the ways I've gotten him to think about shows in a way that helps him understand the way I think about shows, similarly to the way you emm to think about shows, is that there's a big difference between a good writer and a good story teller. Someone who perfectly exemplifies this argument is Darren Shan. He wrote the Cirque du Freak books as well as The Demonata series. both of those series had a really really cool ideas that were not executed well. That's because Darren Shan is a good Storyteller, someone who has good ideas, but not a good writer, the stories are communicated badly Yhe whole time you're reading you're thinking, "God this is such an interesting world and such great ideas this could be such a cool novel!" That's what Sword Art Online is to me. When I watched it again with my Partner so that he could see why I had such issues with the show he asked to stop watching right at the end of the first season? Right when Kirito wakes up from the game. He didn't want to see what happened after that he liked the idea of that ambiguous ending that had all of these great places the show could go, but he didn't trust it to take itself to those places. I often find myself watching or reading media and slogging through it, thinking to myself, "This has such great pieces that could build a really great story if built well." And at the end of the story I'm left with all of these World building Concepts and just a really shity writing that could have all been done so much better. So many of my friends think Sword Art Online is the antithesis of an amazing anime, and I often wish I could just see it from their eyes, but I can't. I'm glad there's at least one person online who's saying things about anime that I can agree with. I rarely comment on UA-cam videos and I don't think I've ever commented on one of your vlogs because I just don't ever have anything smart or eloquent to say. Or at least not things that I feel you think we'll be smart or we'll worded enough to bother with. Just keep up the good work, I'm really enjoying your videos and your opinions.
For me the difference between SAO and *War is like the difference between rotten fruits and rotten eggs, one of those smell kinda good but if I eat it I'll feel sick, but if I eat the other one, I'll die.
@@brysonbtw2489 at the start of the series she was quite strong i don't think anyone disagrees with that buuuut then she was basicly turned into a plot device that keeps Kirito "Somewhat" at bay around girls tho in the latest ark in whatever episode she was pretty good at fighting off those f*ckers in GGO so i guess she still remembers how to fling around a sword i guess
It's kinda cool to hear you say pretty much the exact same as I have been saying for years about SoA, the fact that it has a lot of really cool ideas, just executes them badly xD
I remember watching both series to an end and i will always skip most of each episode and watch around 5-7 mins of each and yet i somehow manage to get it all and never once felt like i lost something, but with shows like jojo i dont that and i dont feel like putting my eyes out of the screen because i enjoy every second and want more of it.
Digi: "I mean... I can't see Sword Art Online getting pushed up above like a 2 and a half at the absolute most if I watched something SO much worse than the Asterisk War that that had to be bumped up... which seems unlikely..." A1: "Hold my beer."
k but what if SAO was a horror show about not just being trapped in a video game, but being trapped in a REALLY BAD video game w/ bad controls and bad combat and it was glitchy and broken.
I like SAO for the aesthetic reasons, but there is also a super important thing I think most people miss: The idea of family from a parent's perspective is super powerful and underexplored in television I've seen. Anime deals with family having unreasonable expectations, and with receiving family legacy from the past, but rarely if ever with the idea of starting a family, to be the ones having to pass on that legacy, where the heroes have to take up the roles of fathers and mothers. SAO does that. I can't name a single other anime that does. Maybe that just reveals how I'm not too much of an anime fan. Does anyone know of any other shows which do explore that theme?
Clannad after story went super in depth about starting a family. From conception to the delivery, we saw so much emotion put into this dream. But saying anything more is spoilers so I'll stop on that. Huge recommendation though. Second show I'd look at for parenting is usage drop. That one is less about starting a family since it was just taking in a family member, but it goes through all of the struggles of parenthood thoroughly.
Will you ever discuss .hack//sign in depth? I remember watching that show as a kid all the way through even though it was boring as sin just because I was interested in the mystery of why the main character couldn't log out and what the other players were doing to help (even though plot progression on that end was rare) and being really disappointed by the resolution.
I think if you watch just the OP of SAO the thing you'll take away from it is that it's a story where the boy and girl are equals and I think that's beautiful and the meaning you construed out of Kirito's engineering subplot is really good so I think I should read your SAO fanfic now.
Sao season One is like, a 3 for me. I really loved Yui and Asunas characters and their dynamic with Kirito. If it didn't have the Elf bit it would be a 5.
Are the guns down? Ok. My reason here is SAO was my first Anime and my expectations of anime was pretty low and I thought I would not be entertained. SAO here blew my expectations out of the water. I also dont like Drama anime so half of the anime out there goes down the drain for me. And some action anime is way too gritty or has a bunch of skimpily clad females also most of these animes are the protagonist fighting some non-human enemy. SAO had all of that. And I liked it.
Speaking of "stuck in mmo" anime, what're your thoughts on Overlord? Considering the fact that I like it, I suspect you'll pan it, but I'm still interested.
I think there is one other redeeming quality to SAO, and believe it or not, it comes from the Aincrad arc. It is naught but a single line that Kirito says to Leafa, and I forget what preceded it, but the line is, "There are certain things you have to protect _because_ it's a virtual world." This simple and immediately-applicable-to-real-life idea that just because something happens in a virtual world or online, doesn't mean that it isn't real. That the kind of person you are in the fictionally anonymous internet is the real you, the person you are when you think no one is watching. And it's those times you have to be extra careful what you do, because they are the most telling of your true nature. And someone _is_ going to see it. And if you look back at those actions around someone whose opinion you care about, are you going to be ok owning up to it? Is that the person you want to be? I think it's a good mantra to live by. So SAO has 2 good things in it.
I'm not going to lie: I actually enjoyed the Aincrad arc of SAO. I liked the idea of the show as well as Asuna, Klein and Agil. After watching your videos on SAO it helped me see all the flaws of the show, and got me thinking about how it should've been written. How so much better it could've been. I've been thinking on writing a fanfic about SAO. But I'm not a writer though lol
If I know politics is a giant clusterfuck of the least intelligent people fucking up everything it touches, I'd vote for the most entertaining one - if I can do it on a smart phone like a pageant show.
I agree completely regarding the romance part, most anime romance shows, especially shonen ones have all this idea of romance in them but in the end nothing happens which i found very refreshing when watching Sao for the first time, I liked that kirito and asuna did have a romance instead of just having kirito with a harem in which nothing happens. It is not a good romance or a great romantic story, it is just a romance but at the same time it has the balls to at least be one...
The funny thing is that awhile back, I bumped into an MLP fanfic called Gunsmoke, which basically took GGO and used it to make something so much better than anything in SAO. It took some of the ideas from SAO, mainly online relationships, using virtual reality to deal with trauma, and issues with identity, and made something really good with it. It was basically the second to last nail in the SAO coffin for me (the last was the Mother's Basement videos), as some person online writing MLP fan fiction for fun was able to make something so much better and more meaningful than basically anything from SAO itself.
On a side note. Does anyone remember that .Hack MMO Ps2 Game where you could make your own character. I think it was called fragment. Shame we never got it.
How ironic that someone who gave SAO a 1.5/10 which might as well be nothing at all, can explain to me who loves SAO why i love it so much. you did well my friend, very well. Thanks for enlightening me. i feel like i like it even more now that you have explained that image to me too. i like a 1+1=2 romance, simple and direct.
I thought I liked SAO... Then I realized I only liked the mmo part. Once I tried watching it again, I couldn't get past the part where Kirito goes to the blacksmith for a new weapon. Asterisk War just doesn't make sense to me. The main character has his power sealed because he's supposedly too powerful yet when he unleashes his full power he's BARELY stronger than the other students there and that one chick still kicks his ass haha.

WikiJippo If it weren't for all the anime PVs, CMs, and trailers I get everyday. Digibro would literally be spamming my subscription feed at this rate.
***** Double speed Digibro would burn my brain circuits with all the information all at once
AVGN: AAAAAAASSSSSSS War.
LOL
I can only imagine AVGN saying "AAAAAAASSSSSSS" really angry and then saying "War" very calm and deadpan
It's so good to have this certified hood banger back on its original channel.
I miss her videos bro. I think I made a paradoxical relationship with digi/trixi and I really loved their style of analysis. Glad she’s doing what makes her happy though.
Me:*is LISTENING to the video*
Digi:"Those are clean clothes by the way"
Me: "What the shit-"
SAO - "It's better than nothing"
Though personally, in the whole bad ideas vs no ideas, I think I'd much prefer no ideas, because a negative is still lower than a zero.
Call of Duty
It is the same game for the most part, with little change in gameplay or story with only gameplay changes.
He means something that's not good, like how a 20% is a bad mark, but it's better than a 0.
alright pat
^
SSBr0z So if you have nothing, what's gonna happen? Nothin. If you have something that's so bad, you could laugh at it and make fun of it. Asterisk war? I'd go to WWE raw these days and find better writing. And that's a fucking insult to a show.
I wish we had more anime like SCHOOL DAYS...
Focusing on teen sex and pregnancy and stuff
School Days is the best abstinence program ever.
You know, people shit on School Days all the time, like it's the worst anime of all time, but at least that show had some really unique and out there ideas and it did some things with the harem genre and it went all out with them.
+AnimeCommander1 "Get head, get ded"
+Out_SiN what do you mean I love School Days I think it was the first really mature anime i watched
OneManAnimeCast 346 There would be no objectivity in either circumstance.
OneManAnimeCast 346 There's no objectivity in evaluating the merit of art. It's not comparable to science.
Of course, losing a finger is better than losing the whole hand.
Mahouka vs infinte stratos vs sao vs ass war death match someday?
In my biased opinion, i'd say Mahouka is better than all of them. I know many would label it the same light novel trash and have a lot of beef with Tatsuya's personality and/or character but i just liked it :S
+Rakushio i won't argue against that, even if i don't like those (neither of the genre as a whole), mahouka seems to be the most decent one.
+JD002 alucard was nuts.
killed everyone he's ever killed to come back to life after shroedinger's cat killed him.
like, what?
The best idea in SAO is the "two years worth of semen" thing in the unpublished chapter 16.5 of the light novel.
I just can't take title "asterisk war" serously because every time I hear it I think of fun adventures of 2 gaulic warriors.
No Digi, you can't let the meme die, SAO must be the worst show in existence for the sake of 4chan shitposting and therefore for the sake of Internet itself. It's easier
SAO crashed upon reentry. ASS War didn't even get off the launch pad.
YOU FOOL, How can you be so blind! Tis not the death of one dank meme but the birth of another! Imagine a world ragging on both Assterisk war and Shit art offline!
And you can go to hell. Until we get a better equivalent to SAO, your campaign can go suck it.
dude calm down I get you really like sao and hate log horizon but I swer every comment from you I come across from you sounds like you despise anyone who has a slightly different opinion
And now it's getting an american live action series. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy.....
SAO a show about underage online rape.
4/20 rating
360/pingu would confused again
+jose Lisboa 6/9 I'd watch part of.
lmfao
And AIDS.
i think the reason you like the ending theme is because youre glad its over
I think that they are BOTH worth no ones time?
Without a doubt
Ok, go watch Hundred and that'll bump up SAO to a fucking 5
been seeing ads from crunchyroll of it. It looked generic as fuck
a friend recommended it to me... couldnt make it past episode one.
***** can u believe anime like that is popular?
***** or to have another annoying tsundere
The only anime to have an ending scene that retcons the entire plot! Unintentionally.
4 videos in 1 day. This is the best day ever
Haven't watched the other but SAO is a glorified romance anime set in an MMO, that's about it. Same as Gate, promosing premise untill you realize it has nothing to do with what you thought it would be about. Want a good MMO anime? Watch Log Horizon.
Digi praising SAO during 15min. What has the world come to ?
That's just the plot of the anime, there is no depth in that
Holy based
SAO is about escapism, idealization, and the romantic. That's why the characters and story are all so unrealistic. It all makes sense now!
He thought SAO was finished!!!😂
At the time it was, kinda.
That image is why i watched SAO and ended up watching anime.
Found that image made it my background and later searched for where it was from then ended up discovering anime
I have to thank SAO for good art .................and awesome music
In the image of the crossed swords, I think the lake might be the one from their in game home (and met Yui), and the flower may represent Yui because Yui had a dress that colour and shape in the second season. (I do not know if he mentioned this, I'm currently paused in the middle of the video and just wanted to write this out before I forget)
In the real world Asuna would be a dude fishing for items. >_>
Okay you just now mentioned Rave Master. Now Please Talk More About RAVE MASTER!!!
I loved Rave Master.
I doubt he likes it.
what does he like?
Chivalry of a Failed Knight, clearly.
Nah I think he just hates it less the AssWars
How do you get good audio quality with nothing to dampen sound in your room?! What Mic do you use?!
I love your beard.
Well Asuna is supposed to be strong, but she is utterly useless
She can't do anything without her big daddy Kirito to save her.
Echizen Ryouma she is. But Not if she's put up against better characters, then she's Jesus 2.0
But she Sandwich chan...
@@brysonbtw2489 at the start of the series she was quite strong i don't think anyone disagrees with that
buuuut then she was basicly turned into a plot device that keeps Kirito "Somewhat" at bay around girls
tho in the latest ark in whatever episode she was pretty good at fighting off those f*ckers in GGO so i guess she still remembers how to fling around a sword i guess
Could you make a video on how Zankyou no terror fell apart? I personally really liked the show but I'd love to see your opinion in detail.
It's kinda cool to hear you say pretty much the exact same as I have been saying for years about SoA, the fact that it has a lot of really cool ideas, just executes them badly xD
This is perfect I just rewatched your ass war sucks vids today
What's your thoughts on Accel World? It's another series by Reki Kawahara, which is very similar to Sword Art Online.
BTW digibrony are ya gonna get Hollow Realization...heard Kawahara is pulling out all the stops with that 1 ! :D
Good comparison but I'm unclear whether the clothes in the hamper are clean or not?? Confused.
Dammit Sao is an ASS war, over who has best ass...
its sinon, fight me u know u wanna
Digi: "I mean... I can't see Sword Art Online getting pushed up above like a 2 and a half at the absolute most if I watched something SO much worse than the Asterisk War that that had to be bumped up... which seems unlikely..."
A1: "Hold my beer."
those are clean clothes btw, they are clean i swear
k but what if SAO was a horror show about not just being trapped in a video game, but being trapped in a REALLY BAD video game w/ bad controls and bad combat and it was glitchy and broken.
I like SAO for the aesthetic reasons, but there is also a super important thing I think most people miss:
The idea of family from a parent's perspective is super powerful and underexplored in television I've seen.
That one is less about starting a family since it was just taking in a family member, but it goes through all of the struggles of parenthood thoroughly.
but clanned made me lose the will to live so...
Sword Art Online Season 1 Episodes 1 - 14
That IS the series to me.
Billy Bob sao abridged is canon for me
Digi being tsun for SAO.
I'm suddenly quite curious to what your reaction to The Irregular at Magic High School would be
Will you ever discuss .hack//sign in depth?
This is how I feel about Homestuck sometimes. I focus on the great parts and don't worry about the overall whole that much.
Hey Digi, I forgot to ask, did you finish Kiznaiver? If so, what are your thoughts about it?
What are some shows you didn't finish that think are worse than these 2?
I liked SAO...
And I liked it.
i like the new do up you got going on. looks better in my objective opinion lol
+Dizzy Tackson But opinions can be objective ;^)
relax it was a joke.... or was it
Sao is better because without it we wouldn't have the abridged series.
this is very true
"Holy fuck, how fast was that guy going" says Digi as a car zooms by my window. Digi just broke the fourth wall.
Digibro did u enjoy Rave Master and if so what would u rank it between 1 to 10.
Digibro: "You are, without a doubt, the worst anime I've ever finished."
Ass War/SAO: "Ah, but you have finished me."
god the lights that shine in the reflection of those glasses make it look like he has glowing eyes.
Digi can you do a video on the SAO abridged?
Speaking of "stuck in mmo" anime, what're your thoughts on Overlord? Considering the fact that I like it, I suspect you'll pan it, but I'm still interested.
that was a pretty emotional vlog
Dear Digibro,
Your glasses are badass. You look like a character from 'The Matrix'
love,
-Mark
A-1 pictures has the Doctor Seuss face. like they're about to take a nap or something.
Now I'm just wondering what the Silpheed Sword from Rave Master looks like... anyone have an image of it?
We love u digi!
Reads: "Why SAO-" **click**
I'm not going to lie: I actually enjoyed the Aincrad arc of SAO. I liked the idea of the show as well as Asuna, Klein and Agil. After watching your videos on SAO it helped me see all the flaws of the show, and got me thinking about how it should've been written. How so much better it could've been. I've been thinking on writing a fanfic about SAO. But I'm not a writer though lol
14:49 It's a Ferris wheel, Digibro.
How much did you have to drink?
Digibro Trump supporter confirmed
Well Trump supporters are known for masturbating to anime girls.
If I know politics is a giant clusterfuck of the least intelligent people fucking up everything it touches, I'd vote for the most entertaining one - if I can do it on a smart phone like a pageant show.
+dave19941000 are you talking about Trump saying a shadbase shirt looked cool?
Brandon Porter No, one of his opponents called his supporters people who masturbate to anime. Meaning us.
+FreeSheep More intelligent community than anime
I agree completely regarding the romance part, most anime romance shows, especially shonen ones have all this idea of romance in them but in the end nothing happens which i found very refreshing when watching Sao for the first time, I liked that kirito and asuna did have a romance instead of just having kirito with a harem in which nothing happens. It is not a good romance or a great romantic story, it is just a romance but at the same time it has the balls to at least be one...
That is either an absurdly large bottle of beer or you are an incredibly miniature man
I love the random interjections of real life in this video they made me laugh a lot
I love that the ideas behind sword art he described is exactly what I wanted out of the show. why cant we have that instead? ; (
Had to watch video just because the title was so perplexing.
So what do you think about Hundred? Can you trash talk that one next?
bruh, are you wearing a pair of shades in the middle of the night in a darkly lit room?
Do you have any thoughts on Mars of Destruction?
Because that's the worst anime I've ever seen.
what did you smoke. Mars of Destruction is 10/10 material that was so amazing that the staff working on it could only make 1 episode of it.
Also, keep the, "Did you watch ______?" to yourself.
He talked about this in the last video
What even is your problem, man? Mars of Destruction cured my testicle cancer.
Skelter Heaven is worse.
***** at least Pokemon doesn't try to take itself too seriously.
I'm sure you've already found out, it's a Ferris Wheel.
Really interesting video, it should be a must watch to understand your rating system.
On a side note. Does anyone remember that .Hack MMO Ps2 Game where you could make your own character. I think it was called fragment. Shame we never got it.
I do. I imagine it didn't got as popular cause of how limited it was compared to other MMOs.
No, I only remember the .hack PS2 RPG where they arbitrarily spread it over multiple discs sold separately.
Nathan Karr It saw a limited release as some kinda beta thing, Never really got off the Ps2 ground.
Those sunglasses, I'll pay you for them.
I was going to like the video anyways, but I just want to dedicate this like to those clean clothes in the background.
