This man is an amazing actor, but more importantly, he's an incredible individual. It has been a joy to see him progress in his character and in his career. I wish all the best for his future.
Here's the thing - he could absolutely just go through the motions with these types of interviews as we've seen even the best actors do. Having watched a number of Tom's interviews, he is CONSISTENTLY intent, present, and thoughtful in both his answers and engagement with the interviewee. It's also very clear that he cares so much about his craft and the work that he's done, perhaps arguably more than most of his colleagues. A true gem and joy to witness.
He’s a producer so I bet he has some skin in the game with profits. It’s funny he grew from just actor to doing higher level stuff… deserves it
This is exactly what I think and sometimes write about his interviews. He is so profound, meaningfull and committed with his character whatever it is and his craft too. I really admire him. And his culture about the classic is so deep that he can quote T.S. Eliot without failure referring to Loki because he knows hiw to connect all the bits and pieces we found all thoughtout the story. Wonderful

Tom is so sincere and introspective about the journey of Loki. He has given such a deep evaluation of his life. I hope Loki can save the Marvel Universe in future movies.
I knew it! When Natalia’s Holt said he’d given a book of poetry that he’d read to get into Loki’s mindset, and then had that line in ep 6 to HWR, I knew he’d been reading TS Eliot. 👏🏻

Such a wonderful ending. This is how I imagine all the legacy cast of the MCU should be treated after over a decade of playing these characters.

I know Tom went out for Thor and was chosen for Loki, and the entire MCU is better for it. His arc from Thor 1 to Loki season 2 is one of my favorite stories of all time, How the boy who couldn't be King, became the God of Stories.

Seriously, Hiddleton's Loki is one of the best comic book characters ever in the live action media.
For Tom to take so much care and thought with his roles. He really needs to be apart of the pre development more and more. Producing, even directing one day, he clearly has vision and passion about maling a story rather than just showing up acting and going home. The dedication and love for rhe craft is apparent. What a joyful interview, i wonder if he regrets the "conclusion of loki" statement as many people are asking him about that! Its good that he just meant it was a conclusion to a great story arc for loki 😂

Yep. Loki spin-off is may come out so...
Loki’s “glorious purpose”was fraudulent because it was always someone trying to force one on him by other characters with their own goals: Odin, Thanos, HWR. Loki found a way to choose his own purpose, one that brings life and change and freedom because that’s what he wants and who he is at his core. Not just a stolen relic locked in a box waiting for someone to give him purposes that made him feel like a monster.

firstly, that just breaks my heart if Loki can't do virtual projection onto any of the multiverses he's powering and maintaing 😢💔.... having said that I don't believe you Tom that Loki suddenly loses that primary ability now that he has leveled up to All-Father level of Godhood 😜
secondly, its clear Tom doesn't know what to answer anymore about the end of his Loki career and the outcry from every corner of the internet and the real world 😅. pretty sure he read/ heard / saw that palpable panic not just from fans but likely also from Marvel and Disney Execs 😅😅😅

I didn't like the ending at all. I mean Loki ends up being alone forever?! I also hated how immediately in season 2 they ended the romance between Loki and Sylvie almost like it didn't happen. I get Tom must be tiring of playing him, but I thought they'd end it better and happier than this. MHO only. I'm sure most would disagree.
Well, Sylvie spent 1500 years hiding from the TVA.
She wanted to slow down and experience life.
Loki, on the other hand, was still invested in solving the TVA's problems with his friends.
So their paths diverged.
It wasn’t really up to him. It was up to Disney, Marvel and the writers.
