BEAUTY NEWS why not try a sheet of acrylic instead? Or some other type of plastic :) no clangy noises and no losing product with plastic I should imagine
JoIsNotaDuck by the amount of product you get it is quite unlikely that you will be able to use the entire stick up, even if you used it every single day, as you need very little highlighter (even if you apply enough to "glow to the gods" or whatever all those big beauty gurus say). I guess a smaller amount of product and a lower price tag would have been the better deal in this case.
Lichtumwoben because its a stick encased on all sides, only the surface would harbour lots of bacteria and go off, so if you sterilise the surface now and the , the rest of it wont go off
I cannot for the life of me understand why you guys get so many whiny comments on everything you do, you have by far the most refreshing personalities and perspectives on all of beauty youtube imo. You're out here doing the lord's work with both this series and beauty news!!!
BEAUTY NEWS ummmm aren't you guys the ones that complain about everything? You said that there's too much product but if something has too little product you'll complain about that too. You want less product and lower prices to save money but then you buy expensive products and destroy them.
Because sometimes it doesn't make sense to get so much product... There is no way you can use all of it, it might expire and you end up spending too much for something you don't need/cannot use...
That was pretty funny. Milk Makeup's sticks are made with "Milk Melt" formula so yeah, it's probably filled with natural oils or shea butter or something that is very soft. That's why it's so hard to stick back into the tube. X'D Because it is a more oily formula, I put it on before setting powders for a matte-glowy shine rather than a slick shine.
Do you guys not wash the packaging anymore? I know it doesn't really change the weight, but it was also super satisfying to see the clean packaging after!
The packaging was pretty clean besides the bottom part that held the stick. We didn't see the point of scrubbing it and waiting for it to dry if it doesn't contribute to the findings much.
I love products with a blue to purple opalescent or duochrome type of shift, they have a beautiful ethereal look to them 👍 Perfect for this pasty lady with a dislike for golden highlights and summary looking skin.
Girls, haters gonna hate! I absolutely love this segment!! Never stop doing it!!! You should try with the tarte concealer to see how much it does have or with eyelashes glue!!! Or, its something I always wonder.. How much usable product there is in a nail polish... Is it only me or the bottom its always a waste!!!!
More product the better at least their not being stingy. I love Milk and I have this, so this so fun. I cut mine in 3 parts and gave 2 away, I was able to reform it in a 10 g pots and decorated them. FYI You ladies are so fun to watch and you keep your chanel authentic!!! Much love from Cali
I've seen lots of people say the ABH Subculture palette is too powdery (I can see thats true), I would love for you to do a Makeup Breakup on them and see if repressing helps reduce fallout because if it does then the palette would actually be worth it with how pigmented and pretty its colors are! Who agrees?
Rachel Welke I don't think it's to do with how much product is in it but the fact that it's so powdery and like literally fell out when the brush touched it
Alicia April Perrillo That's good to hear someone is having a positive experience with it but just a lot of the reviews seem to show that it's extremely powdery. But I'm actually delighted it works for some people.
Yeah I just had to throw mine away, I had it for maybe... 9-10 months and it smells HORRIBLE! I even tried cutting off an inch or so of product to get "fresh" product and it smelled so bad... Im not sensitive to scents at all, like load me up with good smelling stuff, but this smelled bad like it had gone off.
This highlighter is extremely popular in the US... we don't just use it in our face but also on our shoulders for summer time and bone structure around the shoulders. You can use it for arms as well and not just cheek bones but clouds bow and brow highlight. So it's just also being used as a body high lighter :) I saw a video on UA-cam and a girl used it ok a beach day and applied it on her frontal thigh area to give a glow while she was in the beach
me and my sister went halfsies on one of these we chopped it in half and melted it and put it into MAC lipstick pro palettes and it went miles we about 3 and a bit wells each :) ive mixed it with lip balms, lipsticks, glosses and even added it to tinted body lotion
I'm glad you did this! I didn't want to do this to the one I have! (I really wanted to, tho!) There IS a lot of product in there. It is beautiful on the skin. I have used it several times and I haven't even used the top part yet. It will last forever. I can probably pass it down to grandkids!! BTW - it isn't greasy on the skin at all.
The fellow holosexuals in the chat WOULD be upset by the destruction of the holo stick IF the stick was actually holo. But now most of us are upset because it ISN'T holo 😂 Still an awesome video, keep up the amazing work girls!
Is it just me or Does anybody else have a whole new perspective of looking at makeup after watching their videos? You guys, keep doing it. Love ur videos!
Not sure if you'll even see this, but because Australia is limited for what makeup it can get, a good service to use is Shop and Box. It is by DHL (the shipping company). It gives you people from 31 countries (including Australia), and it lets you choose a shopper, which you can tell to buy certain items, or tell them to get you what ever. They'll then ship it straight to you which you can then use. This might be useful for you as it would mean that you have a larger array of products to use.
You guys stuff ducks or chickens instead of turkey? That's interesting. Are there not many native turkeys? (Why is this what I got out of this video...)
I'm not sure if someone already said this - someone might've, but there is now a powder version of this product available. (If the solid form isn't your cup o' tea.) 👍🏻🌸
Wanna try this sooo bad, I have their matte cream bronzer and it’s so great. You get an amazing amount of product. Also have their skin tint and love it. Packaging for the brand in general is smart and really user friendly. Makes so much sense.
So satisfying. Is it weird that I love watching makeup distruction? But then there is several of you who are watching it with me. I guess I am not alone 😆
I adore Milk. Their products are quality and I think you get a ton of product. On their UA-cam channel they've always been promoting makeup for both men and women and their marketing is very gender neutral. I have the highlighter stick in Supernova and it's sooo amazing.
I think it'd be cool if you guys destroyed the subculture palette since it's "soft pressed" it'd be cool to see how much product you actually get and then see if when you guys repress it if it helps resolve some of the fall out ?
I would much rather have a smaller product like this that's cheaper instead of a whole lot of it that's expensive and you'll never get through the entire thing. Then it's easier to buy a variety of shades and such
that would be a good video. me and my friend battled that palette together a few days ago and there was so much fall out that the only way to keep it from mixing in with other pans was to put eye shadow shields we usually use under our eyes over each shade in the palette as the fallout from the pink shade was sticking to the pale sparkly green! it would be great to see if repressing would help
not enough product = not legal. Too much = giant industrial size stick of shiny face grease that will either go off or go out of style before I'm half way through it and moving on to the next shiny shit. That stick is gonna last longer for me than my last relationship. I'd rather have less product at a lower price point, that I will get full value out of because it actually gets finished.
guys I mean this is their video, their channel. They can say or do whatever they want as long as it's not criticism towards others or offensive in anyway or abuse so it's literally fine. It's not like their breaking laws. They're showing us what actually contains in a product
Seeing the product become softer both times you repressed it looked so cool! Have you tested it out on the face with the new consistency? What do you think?
it would be so cool if you guys used a glass/metal mixing palette when destroying makeup as opposed to paper- even if it's just a scrap piece of glass or a mirror. of course it's up to you guys and i love the channel either way!
Most makeup products don't have an expiration dates or best by date. if they contain any sunscreen or active ingredients that could cause the use of the product to be harmful, then they will have an expiration date. A lot of makeup has shelf life of anywhere from 2-3 years unopened where it is best used, and opened product at least 6 months or longer before it becomes less effective. When they get old they might get an off smell to them or dry out or separate, but aren't usually harmful.
The traditional rule for Cream products is two years expiration.I was screaming at my phone "get a towel" for at least three minutes of this video. LOL oily skin girls can wear this with no problems. You could set it with a powder highlight as well. But I've never heard of somebody saying it's too oily maybe too slippery but that's it I want to try all their makeup
BEAUTY NEWS honestly I don't remember now why I was screaming get a towel. Maybe I was feeling anxiety for some odd reason. Lol that stick turned into all different types of consistencies. lol you're so sweet to answer everyone's comments. Really truly I appreciate it. Even if I was screaming get a towel. Lol
love how they complain about how much product came with it. it was a beautiful color too and good quality they're very judgemental towards products. like wouldn't u want more product and be happy about it instead of complaining?
Okay in just wondering what the fuck was the point of smashing it an breaking up smearing it on you're fingers An paper if you got the whole fucking stick out 😑
I would recommend getting one of those glass slates meant for mixing makeup on for when you guys break stuff, you wouldn't waste any product from the paper absorbing it and it would be more satisfying to watch
We actually don't want this product which is why we weren't fussed about saving every last drop. We used paper because it gets noisy cutting on glass and ceramics and that would annoy people
Ffs, you get people complaining when there isn't enough product in stick makeup which i completely understand, but come on, complaining that there's too much, when has that ever been a bad thing...
It is a bad thing when you are spending heaps of money on it and it is likely to go off before you use it up. It is better to just have smaller cheaper ones. We don't like brands being under their claimed weigh (because that is ripping off the customer) but excessive products like these will just eventually go in the bin
For me, and for a lot of others, they don't go to waste. Of course i can't speak for everyone but as someone who would spend $35 dollars, plus shipping on one product, i would expect a large amount of product to be able to use. as well as use it all up. most people like a large amount of product when spending their hard earned bucks on a makeup item; I mean look at the KKW contour sticks, they were just a rip off. Thanks for replying though.
I am not saying they should give you less product for the same price. They should have cut the price and amount in half because most people won't use all of this up before it goes bad
Also, personally, if I spend a large amount of money on a makeup item, that's just going to urge me to want to use the product even more and completely use it up, due to me not wanting the product to go to waste. Where as, if I buy a piece of makeup that I later find out has hardly any product in it, i'm going to want to savour the product and barely use it, giving it a larger chance of it going to waste/ past its use by date.
FYI guys, we know that this isn't actually holographic. When Hailey said "oh gosh it's holographic folks" that was sarcasm 😂
We have used ceramic surfaces before and people complain when the spatula hits the hard surface. We can't win either way
BEAUTY NEWS why not try a sheet of acrylic instead? Or some other type of plastic :) no clangy noises and no losing product with plastic I should imagine
Why does it matter so much? It is 33g of an oily highlighter that neither of us want to use haha. We were fine with wasting some of it
BEAUTY NEWS exactly! Ignore the tedious people and keep making these amazing videos!
Why did you complain that they give you too much?
What a lovely glue stick
+Elizabeth Shank prettiest glue stick I've ever seen
Elizabeth Shank omg 😂
Elizabeth Shank and it actually does smell like school stick glue lol
Elizabeth Shank ahaha best comment
hi elizabeth whaddup
Im confused, are they really complaining about too much product? Never in my days did i think this would happen.
Lauren Indart They have a point, though. You waste money on a product that goes off before you had the chance to finish it
priscy not necessarily, if you use it everyday it probably won't go off before you've used it all
JoIsNotaDuck by the amount of product you get it is quite unlikely that you will be able to use the entire stick up, even if you used it every single day, as you need very little highlighter (even if you apply enough to "glow to the gods" or whatever all those big beauty gurus say). I guess a smaller amount of product and a lower price tag would have been the better deal in this case.
Its also a body highlight which you can use on your collar bones, shoulders, etc which means you'll use it faster.
Thank you. Yeah we have no idea why people complain about everything 🤷♀️
+BEAUTY NEWS Because people are delicate little flowers these days and they get worked up about everything. Please, don't you ever change.
BEAUTY NEWS ummmm aren't you guys the ones that complain about everything? You said that there's too much product but if something has too little product you'll complain about that too. You want less product and lower prices to save money but then you buy expensive products and destroy them.

Iquey I
Fake-ass holo deodorant stick looking thing! It is very pretty though. Great vid. :)
That is an amazing idea. I would absolutely rock holo pits. LMAO
Tessa Ladd 😂

MadHatterMH MUA do a gorgeous white highlighter with a blue tinge to it, you should totally try it! It's my favourite one
JoIsNotaDuck thank you for the suggestion I'll definitely have to look it up 😊
MadHatterMH no problem! the color is called 'pearlescent sheen'
JoIsNotaDuck at least they named it appropriately 😉👍
MadHatterMH haha true 😂
I was hoping that'd you'd melt it. I want to see gray iridescent liquid lol.
This is cristines nightmare calling something else not HOLO😭😂
Blame Milk Makeup, we didn't name it.
Sure who gives a fuck about what that annoying person says, fuck off with that holo shite.
It's not holo 😭😭😭
I was trying to find a comment about Christine
RFS 737 lol
Everyone on this video "it's iridescent not holographic"
Spongebob meme: iTs IrIdEsCeNt NoT hOloGrApHiC
lol
If you scroll through the comments, you can see how many people are educated by Cristine (Simply Nailogical)

We will definitely be destroying one... we're just trying to think of the best way to do it :)
Thanks that's great I will be very excitedly awaiting it! Love you xoxo :)
Next you should destroy the subculture palette!!
I'd love to see you swirls the brush around and see all the fall out idk i find it satisfying
MyBunnyGirl omg YES! They need to do this
I like these but this one gave me anxiety
allysen zabel yesssss me too 👐
Literally how?
"I did it too far" This is how I break everything that twists up.
just out of curiosity, how do you guys decide who gets to destroy what? it all looks too fun!!
It's usually more like "you do it" "no I don't want to be criticized by the internet... you do it"
pleaseeee do the ABH Subculture palette next!!!!
morg YES!
morg ifeel like repressing it with more alcohol would decrease all the fallout that the shadows create
morg yes! I wanna see if there is as much product as stated since that Alicia girl hit pan so quick.
If you don't like the oily highlight, milk just came out with powder versions of their holographic stick
Yeah I just had to throw mine away, I had it for maybe... 9-10 months and it smells HORRIBLE!

17 bucks for 28 grams. That shit is the best deal you'll ever get.

Please do a break up of the anastasia subculture palette
We will be 😊
BEAUTY NEWS cant wait to see it, thanks for replying 💕
You could break that thing with a brush, it's sooooo soft.
It's practically already broke
yeah the internet broke it already lol
I'm glad you did this! I didn't want to do this to the one I have! (I really wanted to, tho!) There IS a lot of product in there. It is beautiful on the skin. Lol. You guys need therapy :-)
Is it just me or Does anybody else have a whole new perspective of looking at makeup after watching their videos? You guys, keep doing it. Love ur videos!
can you destroy the putty hi lighter? by sigma
The putty highlighter is by Stila, not Sigma
Andrea Balcan oops lol thank you
You're welcome lol
I really want to see them destroy it. It seems really satisfying
If you post one to them they will def fuck it up for you ^_^
MissChase86 can't get it here lol

You guys stuff ducks or chickens instead of turkey? That's interesting. Are there not many native turkeys? (Why is this what I got out of this video...)
Meg Alyssa They said some people use turkeys, it's just not common.
I think eating turkey is popular only in America?
Because we don't eat that much stuffed turkey in South America either.
Meg Alyssa In the UK we stuff all three sometimes
Aimee Pugh a turducken?!
We have zero native turkeys
I'm not sure if someone already said this - someone might've, but there is now a powder version of this product available. (If the solid form isn't your cup o' tea.) 👍🏻🌸
Simplynailogical needs to see this
I think she has played it with already, it's not a new product
I can't imagine if you tried to see how many swatches! I have a much smaller tarte cheek stain that's lasted FOREVER
I love how Hailey had the measurements written in her hand 😂
I love the dynamic you guys have. I think hearing you two interact makes its so fun to watch /hear :)
Fake Holo. I am dying.
Carly Pineda MY NAME IS CARLY AND IF YOU COULDN'T TELL IM A SIMPLYNAILOGICAL FAN
Wanna try this sooo bad, I have their matte cream bronzer and it’s so great. You get an amazing amount of product. Also have their skin tint and love it. Packaging for the brand in general is smart and really user friendly. Makes so much sense.
Where's my h💿l💿 squad at? ITS NOT HOLOGRAPHIC!!! The liiiiiieees! Like if you believe its not h💿l💿
Feel so sad that there's no holo makeup
So satisfying. Is it weird that I love watching makeup distruction? But then there is several of you who are watching it with me. I guess I am not alone 😆
Christine is *quaking*
Isle øf flightless piløts it's spelt Cristine....
Ah, takes me back to primary school... inspecting and destroying glue sticks when the teacher wasn't looking 😂
Then it's easier to buy a variety of shades and such
Thank you for always posting such great content every week!
You're welcome Eleanor x 😘
Do the SubCulture Palette!! Maybe repressing the pans will help fallout?
that would be a good video. me and my friend battled that palette together a few days ago and there was so much fall out that the only way to keep it from mixing in with other pans was to put eye shadow shields we usually use under our eyes over each shade in the palette as the fallout from the pink shade was sticking to the pale sparkly green! it would be great to see if repressing would help
I absolutely adore you ladies and this series. The balance of “fuck” with “oopsie daisies” and “uh-oh spaghetti-o” is *chef’s kiss*
Gosh people are never satisfied. Not enough product. To much product. -__- I would rather have more product than getting less.
Commenters are never happy either
not enough product = not legal.
This segment is about finding pros AND CONS in the makeup. If u don’t like lt, then why ru watching??
Marialena Gonzalez, Sure, have fun trying to finish it before it’s expiry date
guys I mean this is their video, their channel. They can say or do whatever they want as long as it's not criticism towards others or offensive in anyway or abuse so it's literally fine. It's not like their breaking laws. They're showing us what actually contains in a product
That is NOT H💿L💿 😭😭😭
Jalisa Wilkins sarcasm
Jalisa Wilkins they know that its just what the company named it you fucking frog
unlike ethereal that was unnecessary
Anyone else did read this comment in Cristine's voice?
Ewelina Dylińska Holo there
Seeing the product become softer both times you repressed it looked so cool! Have you tested it out on the face with the new consistency? What do you think?
It's the same consistency now that it has cooled down, it had just warmed up in our hands and softened.
it highkey looks like a deodorant stick 😂😂😂
So satisfying to watch.
I like the make up break up series.
THATS NOT HOLO
THATS A DAMN SHIMMER
it would be so cool if you guys used a glass/metal mixing palette when destroying makeup as opposed to paper- even if it's just a scrap piece of glass or a mirror. of course it's up to you guys and i love the channel either way!
looks like the inside of a photocopied Krabby Patty
Most makeup products don't have an expiration dates or best by date. if they contain any sunscreen or active ingredients that could cause the use of the product to be harmful, then they will have an expiration date. This doesn't go bad. The product is mostly coconut oil which never goes rancid.
A lot of other people in the comments say that theirs did go bad. It's a mystery
I love this product. I have really dry skin and it's super moisturizing
Why were you screaming get a towel? As far as I am aware the rule of thumb for powders is 2 years and creams are 12months. Who knows
Lol
wtf lol you see the wierdest comments on your channel specifically and i live for some of them bahahahaha
I've swatched this in Sephora a few times, but didn't like the feeling on my cheeks. I do admit that I want to try several of their products, however!
The simply nailogical subscribers will be so triggered when they see it's not holo
Can y'all do the subculture palette and see if they shadows are better after it before repressing thanks
love how they complain about how much product came with it. it was a beautiful color too and good quality they're very judgemental towards products. like wouldn't u want more product and be happy about it instead of complaining?
It's a complete waste of money in the long run when it all expires before you use it though.
Freyja Bell there is no use by date sk I don't think this can expire
All makeup has a PAO limit.
Freyja Bell That one does not
The kinds of ingredients they use, which even though they are organic and better for your skin, should expire in 2-3 months (being generous).
LOL! That was *SO* delightful to watch. You two were super shiny!!!
there's no shifting rainbows just purple therefore.. not holo.. simplynailogical!! holosexuals know what I'm talking about
I couldn't stop laughing watching you two getting the product back into the tube! 😅😅😅 Seriously though, great job!! 💞💞
Okay in just wondering what the fuck was the point of smashing it an breaking up smearing it on you're fingers An paper if you got the whole fucking stick out 😑
Mya Silas yeah i thought the same
destroy
verb
end the existence of (something) by damaging or attacking it.
its literally in the title
I would recommend getting one of those glass slates meant for mixing makeup on for when you guys break stuff, you wouldn't waste any product from the paper absorbing it and it would be more satisfying to watch
We actually don't want this product which is why we weren't fussed about saving every last drop. We used paper because it gets noisy cutting on glass and ceramics and that would annoy people
If you don't like the video, don't watch! It's that simple.
Y'all should to the KKW contour sticks and see how many swatches it holds!
Ouch...I would melt this or something and then pour it in again, but all in all great video as always💗👌
Favorite part: "Oh that's bad," Funny for sure! Thanks for another great video! 💙
Ffs, you get people complaining when there isn't enough product in stick makeup which i completely understand, but come on, complaining that there's too much, when has that ever been a bad thing...

BEAUTY NEWS It doesn't have a due date💀
Hahah. For that much work I would have put it in a piping bag.... but that greasy residue is why I don't like cream highlight

You could probably melt it then pour it back in the container if you want to use it again

You should melt it and pour back into the container. I know it has a hole under that so put on a tape first before pouring in.

hi fyi i re created cristines 130k nail look under $15!
essences Holo highlighter is a great dupe, it’s more metallic, available everywhere, and costs less
Do the Anastasia Beverly Hills subculture palette makeup breakup💞💞💞👅👅please
Fuck yes! Been waiting on a milk makeup breakup!! This brand seems to be killing it.
I feel like it would of been alot easier to put it back in if you melted it
It wouldn't have worked because it would have gone too far into the base of the packaging
isn’t it used as a body highlighter stick? that would explain why there is so much.
a h l e e y a it’s a face highlighter, but ya I guess it could be used on the body too
Do a colab with Simply Nailogical where you help her get revenge on all the false holo makeup
Woo! Milk Makeup was my #1 makeup breakup wishlist item. Now I can die satisfied.
