My son took me to this concert for my birthday, December 13th, and Chris was the one I went for. I'd seen him many times before, with Soundgarden, Audioslave, and by himself. But I couldn't pass up another time to see him, even when I had to sit through all the other bands that evening, not my taste in music. But it was worth it to hear his miraculous voice. Turns out it would be the last time. i MISS YOU SOOOOO MUCH CHRIS!!! But your music still lives on everyday in my house and in my car! RIP until we meet again1
I know what you mean. I drove 1,000 miles non May 2017 to see him in Tuscaloosa. I was so glad I got to see hime again. Just thinking about never seeing him or Soundgarden is is sad..

Chris was awsome in all those bands and in solo. Both bands were 2 of my favourites bands of all time. They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else. Star Nayea because every word, every note he sings comes straight from his soul. You can feel the emotion, not many vocalist have that talent. You can be a wonderfully trained vocalist but it takes a very sensitive and special person to make you FEEL the music...not just "hear" it. Chris had a gift that can only be described as " un worldly ". Hearing him perform, for me personally was like a spiritual experience.

Buddy was youngest and Patricia ...they were involved in a car accident. I know she lived contently satisfied with her life . She could wait for it to be revealed to her why. But she looked at me upon my question of how did you get through something so difficult Grandma? She loudly told me bc I wouldn't be standing there if they hadn't. See my mom was born after...and an uncle!

This is one of the best ever live versions he's done of Like a Stone, just unbelievable. His voice here was at peak. Fucking can't even believe still that he's gone, three years now, still doesn't get any easier.

I saw Soundgarden in concert for the first time 3 days before we lost Chris. Excellent show, but I was definitely in shock when I heard the news. The best voice in rock in a long time, and a great songwriter. RIP Chris.

Chris is my mancrush. It was a sorry day back in 2017 when he passed. I'm a massive Soundgarden fan, Audioslave, his solo struff. I was fortunate to see Soundgarden 6 times in Auckland, New Zealand, 2 of his Songbook Tours, and on my birthday back in 2008, he was supporting Linkin Park. I feel privileged as a Kiwi to have seen him this many times. Sadly I did not get to see Audioslave in Auckland at that time. One of my regrets. But Chris lives on in all of us, irreplaceable. Temple Of The Dog is my all time favourite album.
