What is Acrylic Ink?
Acrylic Ink is very fun to experiment and play around with as it can be used in so many different ways. For example, it can be used to create effects on paintings similar to airbrush, watercolour, liquid painting and pouring techniques and even brush painting.
Due to the fact that this acrylic-based product is so easy to flow, you can create a lot of fun effects that are similar to watercolor in the way the color spreads on the canvas, but which at the same time have the pigmented properties of acrylic paint. In this video we show you how to use acrylic ink to paint abstractly on a canvas.

Here's how to paint abstract with Acrylic Ink on canvas:
Step 1: Mix acrylic ink with water in a cup and spread over a canvas
Start by mixing a few drops of acrylic ink in a cup with a little water. Then take out a canvas that you have previously painted, where the paint is now dry. Spread the mixture of acrylic ink and water on the canvas in a pattern of your choice.
Step 2: Spray water on the paint and add more acrylic ink
To spread the acrylic ink color, you can spray water with a spray bottle over the color. This will cause the color to spread and become thinner on the edges, which creates new shades. Add new details with the pipette found in the acrylic ink bottle cap and spread the color over the canvas in patterns and details that you like.
Step 3: Use a wide brush to spread the paint
Then you can use a wide brush to spread the color further over the painting. Here you can play around a lot. Feel free to add as many colors, patterns and details as you like, either will the acrylic ink pipette or for example with a smaller brush.

På grund av att denna akrylbaserade produkt är så lättflytande kan man skapa en massor av skojiga effekter som liknar akvarell i hur färgen sprider sig på tavlan, men som samtidigt har akrylens pigmenterade egenskaper. Steg 1: Blanda acrylic ink med vatten i kopp och sprid ut över en tavla
Börja med att blanda några droppar acrylic ink i en kopp med lite vatten. Ta sedan fram en tavla som du tidigare gjort och som har torkat. Sprid ut blandningen av acrylic ink och vatten på tavlan i valfritt mönster.
Steg 2: Spraya vatten på färgen och addera mer acrylic ink
För att sprida ut acrylic ink färgen kan du spraya vatten med en sprayflaska över färgen. Detta kommer göra att färgen sprider sig och blir tunnare på kanterna vilket skapar nya nyanser.Addera nya detaljer med pipetten som finns i acrylic ink flaskans lock och sprid ut färgen över tavlan i mönster och detaljer som du tycker om.
Steg 3: Använd en bred pensel för att sprida ut färgen
Sedan kan du använda dig av en bred pensel för att sprida ut färgen ytterligare över tavlan.
