Your lookbook is amazing! My top picks for the sale are:
1. AA narrow shoes. Unfortunately there are extremely slim pickings (4 options total all kind of frumpy or similar to something I own). So that is a total fail. No asics, SW or any other gorgeous designer shoes that would fit narrow feet that I know of.
2. I wanted to get a new handbag and again total fail. Went to look at the colors in person and the only bag I liked was the oxblood bag & liked the black leather belt bag as a belt and to keep cell phones in while working.
3. Then I thought I would get designer sunglasses. Total fail again since I hated CD & TF on my face. I will keep trying but was hoping for some real pizzaz or might as well go to optometrist.
4. Also looking for clothes in tall. Very frustrating experience because the only way to know is to try on and the clothes were all roped off today. I managed to find one tall activewear piece, one tall pullover and one tall work top so far. Missing the long alo sweats this year they were so flattering and long.
5. Snatched waist and fabrics that are not obviously shiny plastic are a couple non-negotiables for me. This is really limited to expensive af pieces that are mostly dry clean. Or more like fun casual clothes.
6. Healthy underwear. Noticed an oeko-tex label on some underwear from chantelle and was excited, but why not make it easier to figure this out? My friend told me their fav underwear in the sale and was shocked there was a p65 warning on the underwear page (wacoal)! This made me really want to be able to find healthier options for undies bras and sleepwear but not sure how to search based on that. The crazy thing is the underwear that cause cancer and reproductive harm are the same price and very similar looking online to oeko-tex ones!
7. PJs are just so odd. Not a total fail, but its the idk 10th year in a row on and off i think i am buying the same pjs in navy in Nordstrom brand and I was hoping there would be another option that I didnt think I would get sick of since they will last me 3-4 years but it wasnt there.
8. Activewear for fall color people was really lacking. The pinks all only worked for cool winter people. The options were just not my thing except for one piece or I already own similar. So kind of bummed.
9. Natori sports bra only in odd color choices. Hoping more pop up. I just want white / black / ballet pink.
10. No chanel this year. Was hoping chanel fragrance would be in sale. Thinking about getting dyptique but after touching a gross hermes fragrance and getting it all over my hand, I couldnt handle putting another fragrance on.
11. Westman Atelier. Really love these little things but wish it was the white highlighter and pink color. I dont understand how the bronzer works. I think it looks like a good deal but not sure because WA SA was not there today.
12. Cashmere. But like not wanting to spend a mortgage payment on my fav jacket in the sale (SJ ballet pink). Wanted to see a scarf/wrap in person and it was not even in store.
13. Knitwear. I literally can go get a professional knitting machine for the price of like 4 nice knitwear pieces in the sale. It is insane how expensive professional pieces are and how wacky and ill advised the colorways/cuts and designs are for some of the more reasonable items. Like open edit ribbed dolman looked tremendously awful.
14. 100% cotton things like socks, sleepwear, jeans etc is so limited. I was also interested in silk wool and linen but really expensive
15. Hats / visors again just odd choices. No winter beenie & gloves!?
16. Hosiery selections were the worst ever. Like where are the nice options for trouser socks/hidden socks for ballet flats/spanx or hue? There used to be way more emphasis on really setting women up for success for the work year and just weird they dont want to sell these things now.
17. The North Face.. where did they go and why no good ski sweaters or real skiwear!? So odd. Seems like new leadership making too many changes in the sale at once.

My top pick for the sale was going to be the nuna car seat, but now I'm second guessing if I should get it.
I think it depends on your car but both Tim and I struggle to get her in ours. If you have a bigger/taller car it shouldn’t be an issue!

@@AmandaJohn Thank you! Based on wool content, I believe the Reiss is on the right. The wool content is now 82% (18% polyester) according to Nordstrom‘s website. The Sam Edelman coat is 64% wool (26% polyester, 10% rayon).
@@sheriw56 The percentages are different than when I originally reviewed them 2 years ago! But the Reiss is the richer camel color on the left.
One thing that bums me out about the sale is no shoes offer wide width options in the sale.
