Immediately liked the theme already while I got into the PS5 store menu just to check the game out. Looked up the net only to have found out the father of FF music has been contributing his work in this project. Bought the game without thinking twice.

@@relu419 Uematsu only did the beginning of the soundtrack. After a while Narita took over. Though i heard he is a pupil of Uematsu.
i mean i like granblue, but its nothing like final fantasy, 16 is way closer than this franchise, and soken's music is the closest to nobuo and excellent in its own right

This is only my own opinion:
Sokens music was about the only thing i actually liked about FF 16, and even there were some sounds that were a bit forgetable. And the only pieces from Soken i would consider close are remixes from Nobuos original ones. I prefer Narita overall.
I am glad you enjoyed 16, for me it was just an interactive movie with a bit of Devil May Cry gameplay and next to no engaging side content. the side quests were so painful for me, i had to take a break after each major set piece.
Yes i am one of those famous FF 16 haters (who finished the game). And for the record, i was having fun with the FF 7 remake, but this is probably because the battle gameplay was more diverse.
