I have a Latvian friend, she lives in London. To her India is her second home, she is very much influenced by Indian culture and is embraced with open arms by everyone. She also has business ties here but apart from profits, she loves people of India so much.
When she faced problem regarding immigration in UK, she posted her plight on social media and so many Indian friends of her offered her to stay in their home for free of cost.
India is not just a country but an emotion.

India is an ancient civilization and there are millions of such values embedded in the old traditions... I am an old professor and in my childhood the women from villages used to bring vegetables fruits farm products to our house and we used to help them with books garments etc. Many of their children have stayed and done schooling from our house house in kolkata. Life was easy honest and great. As we make it more jazzy showy ... All the inner charms and values disappear in the mad race.... Best wishes..

Actually it is not honouring or something... It is an Indian thing.... She treats you as one of her family, like a daughter may be.... We always treat and call others with family names even a stranger. We always call others as brother sister uncle nephew etc. Not sir or madam or by their names. An ordinary indian will call that old woman grandma..... I think you understand.... It is in our culture 🙏
It's really nice that you are enthusiastic... But I guess you should not have any expectations . From the amount of travel vlogs n stuff I have seen I have deduced that only those who travel to India either for food or just with the thought that it is going to be square one for them are the ones who actually cherish the visit and maybe visit again and even settle like Ivana from Travel Vlog IV channel. Ivana had everything in her life in Netherlands but India completely changed her perspective towards life! Now you might think these acts of respect , humanity and kindness are only life-changing for foreigners but we average Indian people also love such moments and sadly it is not very abundant as everyone is too caught up in their own little world.

Hi Rebecca, I have seen some of your reaction video over many interested topic, your are really very honest while making your reaction over the videos, and same time you are looking very Interested to change your life by getting the true knowledge or can be say by better understanding about life, I have seen some of the Sadguru videos on which you have reacted, I think you have remember he said you need to understand the user manual before using any thing, like if you want to make your life better then you need to read life user manual first, and as he said scripture especially he mentioned Bhagvat Gita is user manual which need to understand in very beginning of our life. For this you need not to come to India any way you are most welcome here but you can get this knowledge there as well, you can find ISKCON Temple near by you and believe me they are teaching all the scriptures along with Bhagwat Gita, you can approach them if you are really interested to understand the Bhagwat Gita the real knowledge, the ultimate human psychology, the very secret and supreme knowledge, I hope they will help you. I am very sorry if you feel that I am over reacting or I have done any typing/language mistake.
