I’ve been shooting the 25 Lapua for 3 years now. I’ve been using Le Wilson full length S 6.5 Lapua dies with bushing and for seating I use Le Wilson seater die for 6.5 Lapua on the K&M arbor press.
Just found your channel. I’m in northern Indiana, do you ever get out to Youngs Long Shot in Wolcottville? Great timing on your series. I have a structured barrel from Tacom HQ that’s a .257 1:7. I was going to do 25 Creedmoor but I built one and the recoil was almost the same as a 6.5. The 25GT peaked my interest but the X47 is a great option also.
I can’t remember where I saw it but there is a small cut out that allows the collet to go in and out easier if you look at the cap you’ll see it’s cut out a little wider. Not really a big deal but I never knew til it was pointed out to me .
Yes I understand what your saying I have a 6 Creed also plus a 6.5x 47 and 25x47 and even a 25x45 Sharps all in custom builds in bolt guns . Wasn’t intending anything wrong just letting others know that no custom made dies are needed.
Thanks! Awesome coverage on 25x47 .
Thanks! Know it may be a bit long on the conversation but also know guys and gals are at different points in the progression of the sport.

Good way to go about it. I need some more time in match condition behind the 25 cal but pretty smooth

I do get up there a few times a year. Have a couple of buddies that are members there. Also appreciate your feedback on the videos.
On one of your other videos I noticed you had a GA precision barrel, but have switched to 5x5. What prompted the switch?

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll take a look
Did you ask Wilson if they would make you a 25x47 seater? They just made me a 25 Creedmoor seater
I didn’t ask. But good to know.
25 x47 is a 6.5 Lapua necked down to 25 no need to have a custom die made
@@luismariscal3601 25 creedmoor is a 6.5 creedmoor necked down to 25. Can you use a seater 6.5x47 seater? Yes. Is it a perfect fit? No
And to clarify, I’m not saying you can use a 6.5x47 for a 25 Creedmoor.
