It's ridiculous how fast tripleS became like one of my top 3 groups, I love them so much. _Rising_ is still one of my favourites. Xinyu is Chinese so regular pronunciation rules for Korean romanisation don't really apply, you got the first syllable right but it's more like "shin-hui"/"shin-we" 😊

TripleS has an amazing discography….all their albums, all their subunits…is nothing but good stuff. You need to see their OT 24 debut… Girls Never Die…it’s amazing. But you can’t go wrong with anything to listen to by them. BTW…you noticed DaHyun and her voice….she is one of the best vocalists out there…if you hear a high note it’s most likely from her or Jiwoo..
Yubin, the one with the hair tied into hearts in Generation has a voice that stands out even among all 24 members. The producers have her sing first in sections of each song. (Whether the chorus or pre-chorus) Not sure if she is considered a main dancer still, but she is in a lot of video shorts/tik toks where she is dancing with other members and idols. Allegedly, she trained to be in New Jeans. Can someone confirm this last statement is true or not?

Yes, AAA "Generation" +EP was the first unit and release. The girls at the end of "Generation" were the other four members at the time and released "Cherry Talk" +EP. The second song was their first "full" group release with the 10 existing members at the end of 22, with "Rising" +EP. The third song was when they reached 16 members and were voted into two units of eight, LOVElution, "Girls' Capitalism" +EP, and the other unit "EVOLution released "Invincible" +EP. They have put out *a lot* of really good music in only 2.5 years so far.
Got into Kpop in the middle of last year, and TripleS was one of the first few groups I found, and they are just awesome. IMO, on each album there are no skips
So glad you got a chance to check out TripleS!! They’re one of my absolute favourite groups in kpop right now, their music is truly first class. Their main producer is the person who founded their company, Jaden Jeong (who also produced music for Loona and now also has the group ARTMS as part of the label and produces for them too, if you’ve heard of either group). But he’s a pretty well known producer in kpop and I agree with you, TripleS has some really well produced music!! The voice you pointed out as distinctive in Generation is Yubin, and the voice you pointed out in Rising and then doing a lot of the ad libs at the end of Rising and also at the end of girls capitalism is their main vocal Dahyun! Her voice is one of the best of the 5th gen imo I would HIGHLY recommend checking out their album with all 24 of them, Assemble24 with the title track girls never die. Incredible MV, incredible album. Actually it’s a really critically acclaimed album with some publications listing it amongst the top albums in kpop of the year (I’ve also seen a fair few reactors include it in their top lists of the year). If you check it out you will see the diversity, creativity, dynamics and talent that this group has to offer and you’ll be sure to be hooked! But if you’re already very interested I’d suggest that you could go album by album (since you don’t have too many MVs left). You don’t have to go in order if you don’t want; just pick an album and check it out then go onto another. That’s the nice thing about all the sub- units! You can hop around and get different albums with different vibes! (If you do decide to do a group of MVs next, I’d suggest invincible, girls never die and hit the floor). But I hope to see you continue this journey! You always have such good intuition about groups and offer a very interesting insight so I’d enjoy watching you deep dive them!! Small clarification, I guess Jaden Jeong oversees production, and he writes a lot of lyrics, but he doesn't do that much composing, he only has composing credits on a few songs here and there; this goes both for LOOΠΔ's and for tripleS's discography 😊 He's cool either way, as far as CEOs go he seems like a pretty good one, and a good creative director. (LOOΠΔ is my ult ult so it only made sense I would love tripleS this much as well 😅)
LONG COMMENT ALERT You are correct, 'Generation' was the very first release from the group. At the time of its release, because the members of tripleS were revealed periodically, there were only 8 members in the group (S1-S8). 4 were put in AAA (Acid Angels from Asia) and 4 were put in KRE (Krystal Eyes). We took a short detour before the debut of Krystal Eyes and released our first "full group" release as a group of 10 adding 2 more members (S9 and S10) with 'Rising'. A few months later Krystal Eyes members finally got to debut as a unit. The next batch of releases were LOVElution and EVOLution. When these units were formed the group had revealed 4 more members since (S11-S14) and was now up to 14 members total with 2 said to join these next 2 units for their respective releases (S15 and S16). LOVElution came first debuting with 'Girls Capitalism' and then a bit of time later EVOLution debuted with their song 'Invincible'. After those 2 releases the group took some time from releases and then early the next year they revealed that the next 4 members (S17-S20) would be revealed all at once and release a song as a unit. The 4 members were formed into a unit called tripleS NXT and debuted with the digital single 'Just Do It'. There wasn't any promotion for this unit it was more of just a unique way to reveal this set of members and introduce them to the group. A bit of time went by until our next release which was out first 'Ballad Unit' called Aria. This unit consisted of 5 of the already existing members and they debuted with the song 'Door'. After this it was revealed that for our next "full group" release wasn't just gonna be the current 20 member roster but would actually be all 24 members. This was very exciting because it meant that the group would finally be complete in the coming months. Soon after, just like what they did with NXT, the final 4 girls were revealed (S21-S24) all at once as we were gearing up for our first actual FULL GROUP release. Finally the day came. May 8th, 2024, almost exactly 2 years since this whole project began, the group finally debuts as all 24 members with the track 'Girls Never Die' and accompanying album 'Assemble24'.
