    in todays journal entry i have to go exploring as things are getting further out of my reach with the limited oxygen tank and my speed, maybe these upgrades will help me explore more to figure out the future.

    5:30 When I build pit stops, here's what I like to put in them:
    1 room with a door (duh), 1 T2 Crafter (for making O2 canisters and water bottles), little bit of storage space, food grower with bean seed (emergency food supply), atmospheric water collector (optional), and enough solar panels to power the equipment there so it doesn't subtract from my "main power grid" for my other machines.
    Then I have advanced pit stops placed at "useful" locations like the aluminum mine, the iridium mine, etc. ... places that I'm going to return to pretty often, and where I produce or gather materials so I'm going to stay there for a while each time I do return there. For these mining camps, I do a bigger room than a little pit stop. Then I do the same basic setup, adding to it: advanced crafting station (for building super alloy and rods), recycler (for breaking down super alloy and rods if I need to), and that atmospheric water collector is mandatory instead of optional. Maybe add in some additional storage, too. And these sites usually have ore extractors which will mine ore for me, once I unlock them. Basically, it's a proper little workshop attached to each mine. These use MORE POWER, enough to justify upgrading the power supply as I get new blueprints for nuclear reactor sand such; so I put the power generators someplace close to my main base so I can tear them down and replace them easily if I need to, without walking all the way across the map again to get there just to install a new generator.

    It was such a bliss to finally finish that game. It’s the end of an era.

      @@HybridsteelIt should go much faster this time. They tweaked quite a bit. I ended with 40 times the TI needed.

    Ok hang on... time for a science lesson.
    "ppq/s" = parts per quadrillion per second. Meaning however many MOLECULES are in the atmosphere, this number tells you how many of them out of a QUADRILLION atmosphere molecules is an oxygen atom (O2).
    Likewise, ppt = parts per trillion; ppb = parts per billion; ppm = parts per million. Any BIGGER than that and you start denoting the oxygen content of the atmosphere as a percentage (parts per hundred). Remember that "1 parts per thousand" = 0.1% anyway so most people skip ppt and go straight to percentage notation at that point. So if you see ppt it is NOT parts per thousand it is parts per trillion.
    1 ppq = 0.0000000000001%.
    Then the per second "/s" notation tells you how fast the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere is changing. So if your machine says "7.7 ppq/s" then it is raising the oxygen by 0.0000000000001% (of the total atmosphere) per second. At that rate it will take you a bazillion years to reach a breathable atmospheric oxygen level of 19.5%. (On Earth we have 20.9%.)
    If you played long enough to raise the total oxygen in the air there to 12% (for an example) with ONLY that one single vegetube, then you delete the vegetube so no more O2 is being produced anywhere on the planet, your monitors will still tell you the O2 level is stable at 12%. But the rate of change will be 0%/s. Or 0 ppq/s in your case here, if you deleted that vegetube immediately.
    And MPa is a unit called "MegaPascal" which is equal to ONE MILLION PASCALS. It's a measurement of gas pressure - in this case, it serves as a measurement of how much atmosphere the planet has. 1 MPa = 10 bar = 145.038 psi (pounds per square inch) = 9.87 atm (atmopheres). Meaning that one MPa is 9.87 times as much air pressure as we have on Earth at sea level.
    Then K is a temperature unit called a "Kelvin." One Kelvin = 1 degree Celsius. But the scales start at different places. 0 K is also called "absolute zero" because it is so cold that no molecular motion happens. 0 C is just the temperature where water freezes, then 100 C is where water boils (on Earth, at sea level). 0 C = 273.15 K. Then they use the metric system to denote how big the number is... like so...
    fK = 1 femtoK is 1/1000000000000th of 1 K.
    nK = 1 nanoK is 1/1000000000th of 1 K
    /u\K = 1 microK is 1/1000000th of 1 K
    mK = 1 milliK is 1/1000th of 1 K
    cK = 1 centiK is 1/100th of 1 K
    These size indicators are the same ones used for every metric unit, not just temperatures. Such as "cm" is centimeter; "ms" is millisecond; etc.

      You had to in the early access version. Seems like they made that feature better for final release. Niiiice.
