As a parent but you can only do so much. I've seen children go from 0 to 100 in less than a year. Not my kids but.. the kid downstairs I used to babysit him and one year he was sweet innocent wonderful and the next year he was doing Meth. At 12. He is now prison for several different things. I am so glad because he broke my dad's window. Obviously I can no longer have him associated with anything around here is now 20. He is 100% where he belongs his mom and all of them are pill heads / opportunist drug users! We used to be close and now we don't even talk! You can never make sure of anything in this day and age. Just give your kids the tools and understanding to make the right decisions. It's a reality everywhere, including in Canada where I grew up. I had a really close friend named Jacob who hung out with my group, all of which were immigrants (East African, South Asian, East Asian), from grade 7 until grade 9. We were academic, and a mix of geeky and nerdy. Suddenly in grade 10, a couple of delinquents get his interest somehow (two Caucasian Canadians who hated the school), and he starts pulling away from our group, and into theirs. Within a month, he's skipping classes, smoking, and drinking alcohol. I felt so bad for him and his family, they ruined him.
I was once actually assaulted as a kid by a teen and his little brother. His little brother already picked on me but the older one literally picked me up like a toy and it was TERRIFYING. Thankfully a guy came out of nowhere and returned the favour. Turns out a grown ass adult man is capable of lifting a teenager like a toy. I learned many life lessons in 1 small sitting...
When I was ten a group of high schoolers pulled a gun on me and tried to rob me for my chain that had a cross on it. I ran from them to the library that’s right next to their highschool. The librarian called the cops and they were quickly identified by the school. Bright morons got arrested at school the next day

You can tell the kid in the suit is trying to control the situation, but the police did an amazing job breaking them apart, updating each other in real time etc. all while being calm and professional. Really well done... The only thing that bothers me is that you can go to jail purely based on allegations.
If multiple children separately attest to the same allegations, allegations as serious as THESE, the police need to investigate it. The driver said nothing was said at all. The passenger said they did in fact yell at the children. That confirmed the witness accounts of the kids that there is evidence of a crime. Further, the children stated that a ski mask was worn. Front passenger said he did not wear it in the commission of the crime, but he had one in his back pack, along with ammunition. The driver was obviously driving around conducting himself like an axshole - this is under the law, considered “menacing.” Devious people always want to run around testing the limits of what they are free to do. The driver put himself in a position of having his bail revoked. He was out on bail for other sh!t! ALL of this is taken into account before the arrest AND the teens STILL have their day in court with the option of FREE LEGAL REPRESENTATION. But WAIT! There’s more! The PROSECUTION has the burden of proof to convince a jury of 12 PEERS, which are selected through a thoughtful process that does well to eliminate as much prejudice as anyone could, against the accused. In light of all this, do you still believe the US Justice System is designed to be unfair to American citizens? Thank god video evidence isn’t required to book people on charges like this. Could you imagine the hell on earth?

At any rate you're correct for pointing out that an allegation look this needs to be looked into and it's either a lie or very real. If it's a lie the men get an apology for the time and thanked for cooperation, if it's real some insidious fools get locked up, simple as.

As a parent but you can only do so much. I've seen children go from 0 to 100 in less than a year. Not my kids but.. the kid downstairs I used to babysit him and one year he was sweet innocent wonderful and the next year he was doing Meth. At 12. He is now prison for several different things. I had a really close friend named Jacob who hung out with my group, all of which were immigrants (East African, South Asian, East Asian), from grade 7 until grade 9. We were academic, and a mix of geeky and nerdy. Suddenly in grade 10, a couple of delinquents get his interest somehow (two Caucasian Canadians who hated the school), and he starts pulling away from our group, and into theirs. Within a month, he's skipping classes, smoking, and drinking alcohol. I felt so bad for him and his family, they ruined him.

The passenger said they did in fact yell at the children. That confirmed the witness accounts of the kids that there is evidence of a crime. Further, the children stated that a ski mask was worn. Front passenger said he did not wear it in the commission of the crime, but he had one in his back pack, along with ammunition. The driver was obviously driving around conducting himself like an axshole - this is under the law, considered “menacing.” Devious people always want to run around testing the limits of what they are free to do. The driver put himself in a position of having his bail revoked. He was out on bail for other sh!t! ALL of this is taken into account before the arrest AND the teens STILL have their day in court with the option of FREE LEGAL REPRESENTATION. But WAIT! There’s more! The PROSECUTION has the burden of proof to convince a jury of 12 PEERS, which are selected through a thoughtful process that does well to eliminate as much prejudice as anyone could, against the accused. In light of all this, do you still believe the US Justice System is designed to be unfair to American citizens? Thank god video evidence isn’t required to book people on charges like this. Could you imagine the hell on earth?
