Thank you. Instead of arguing and going on like Jay and Ben and ect…, they should be comforting each other and trying to get through this. I believe everything was done that could have been done, there’s a time to die. Lola wouldn’t want all this arguing. Blaming is not helping. Focusing on the best way to get Lexi through this together would be helpful. Keep Lola in their hearts and move forward in a positive way.
a day late and a penny short.... the one thing ben is good at is 'abandoning' people he says he'll stand by. That is his super power. That and blaming others for his mistakes.
Sorry I am on Jay's side on this!! Ben would NOT listen!! He isnt the only one whos greiving instead of being there for Lola and Lexi he went to America on some hair brained scheme when everyone told him Lola literally had days to live.
Ben is grieving and like other characters he is grieving in his own way. Ben was scared that Lola will actually die, but coming home and getting Jays Anger isn't good. They're all grieving. But I unterstand Ben points here, that he wanted to help Lola to find a cure.
@@abbieroseholden4174 I understand both sides here, Ben didn't understand that is the reality that Lola only have days to live. Jay and Ben will have a heated conversation, their tension is rising. I don't want their friendship to be ruined.
@@abbieroseholden4174First stage in grief is Denial. And it is a big bear to tackle. i'm on ben's side, even though deep down he knew it was too late and nothing could be done he still went out of his way to try and help lola so I think the others need to calm down, see it for what it is and get off his back.
Horrible situation but Slightly better to live with the regret of not saying goodbye than feeling like you didn’t do all you could to help no matter what others say. Not everyone wants to deal with the pain of saying “goodbye” anyway.
In experience, theres nothing anyone could do with someone with a terminal illness. Being there is number one. Everyone was there for Lola apart from Ben and her mum. Ben broke his promise and was a coward for not being there for his daughter, and her mum didn't care anyway. Jay had every right to say what he said.
No he didn’t he went and tried to help her mom ! Ben not being there was cause he was thinking of her not because he didn’t care that do not make him a coward y’all be just saying anything and it’s annoying who cares about her mom she barely knew her anyways but don’t put Ben in the same category

I feel so bad for Ben though I so wanted him to get back in time so heart breaking that he is never going to get a proper goodbye but he kissed her goodnight. 💔💔💔 I just hope he can get through this and Lexi through it.💔
I agree with Jay but the writing is poor. The writers obviously know nothing about how a criminal record affects a character. This plot sloppy writing. EastEnders is a soap but Ben criminal record he wouldn't get permission to get into United States. He would need a waiver and permission not easy to get.Jay is correct Ben knew the drug trial a long shot. Ben couldn't handle Lola dying because he is irresponsible. It is Ben responsibility to raise Lexi he is the biological father. He ran away doing something. I got a feeling Ben was doing something else in America beyond just trying to help Lola.
I knew it. I fricking knew it. I was just saying ben would blame someone else. These writers need to give him character growth. Now that Lola's dead, he needs to step up and be a good dad. It's not that hard to make it happen.
Even Billy here knew better not to judge too much, after smashing a shop and being bailed out just in time... Death of a loved one can make you irrational.
Ben was absolutely right and I’m fully agreed with him that whole way here when he says they should’ve fought harder for Lola. He was trying to do more for her than all of them combined ever did. Billy and Jay are more to blame for her death than her cancer was in my opinion
ben is not right. he should say goodbye to lola not travel to usa. he should be next to his daughter than travel somewhere else. jay is right. jay is her husband not ben. ben not have right make decision on lola medical decision. ben should think more abut his daughter. he didn;t answer anyone call lexi too so if he answer the calls he would know to come back earlier.
Ben was trying to save her. And he’ll have to live with Jay’s Anger for a while.
Well said Jay!
