Johnny has periodically asked John more and more questions specific to the drinks and how to make them every week. This marks the beginning of one of the greatest bartenders and one of the most successful clubs of our time. A true prodigè. Keep it up guys love it
Loved how happy Johnny got when John said “you can do whatever you want it’s your show” lol I’m envious of the chemistry you have as father and son and you show how natural and authentic yalls interactions are in these longer videos. Makes me Wish my dad and I had some kind of hobby like this to be passionate about together. Keep doing what y’all do, I love your content. Thank you and happy new year y’all
Negroni is #1 for me of all time. It is so simple but so effective. The beautiful thing about the Negroni is that switching different ingredients vastly gives variations to the taste
@@jordansuydam5773 you can try other Appertivos besides Campari. There is one called Bruto Americano that makes a warmer spicier Negroni. Gaz Regan a prestigious cocktailian legend created a Negroni with Gin, Jäegermeister, and sweet vermouth that is excellent
Interesting dynamic here. Young man is really concerned with the video aspect of the content, while his dad is as cultivating as ever with the creation of these fine drinks. Yet they are greater than the sum of their parts and make a great duo.
These guys' personalities are great - enjoy the vids! But some tips for a mixologist-level Negroni: (1) use a jigger. (2) peeling orange top-to-bottom is usually too much; aim for 3 inches. (3) Stir way less than they do; ice in the glass will dilute it further. Next, top gin cocktails are arguably: Gin & Tonic, Gin Martini, Gin & Tonic, Gin Gimlet, Tom Collins or French 75. Gin+Juice is like a pool-party item.
Vodka is a spirit with no identity. It's Odorless, colorless and flavorless. So in a cocktails the Vodka doesn't shine because the other ingredients will dominate. Reason why most bartenders hate Vodka.
@@elitekingsclash7140 i think it depends what type of vodka we're talking about. There's cheap ass stuff that stinks and tastes horrible. (Popov) then you got kettle one and belvedere which are sweeter in scent and tasting. Popov reminds me of a clinic when you get a shot (pun intended) in the arm and they swab it with rubbing alcohol before jabbing you. The smell makes me gag.
@@anonymouse956 Yes, but vodka has so little taste. There are so many different gins now. Find a nice bar or liquor store that does tastings and explore. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Also, the difference between gin straight and with a little tonic is incredible; it can totally change the taste. I have a tomato gin that is super delicious - Moletto. Check it out! Regards from Indiana!
I love y'all's videos! I didn't know you had the longer videos, because I only see the shorts recommended to me... And now I'm about to binge all of your videos.
I guess my favourite gin drink is gin + rosemary put over fire to wake the aromas + some blackberry pulp finished with dash of prosecco and tonic, one of the best things I have drunk in my entire life, you guys definitely have to try this one out
A bartender at the restaurant I work at did roughly the same thing with a dash of lemon juice and some egg white. That was the prettiest cocktail I've seen in my life.
your production quality, editing, subject matter content, and stage presence has gotten better with each video! you guys are great, and got a bright future in bringing some quality over quantity culture to my young peers.
But unfortunately the cocktails aren’t good though. They don’t measure anything, they squeeze like straight in rather than juicing. Don’t even get ingredients right sometimes. Honestly makes me sad that people think this is how cocktail’s are made.
I like that the vermouth is actually added to the drink. Too many of these martini videos have them pouring the vermouth down the drain, which is just a waste. What's even worse is no vermouth at all, then it's not a martini, but straight gin in a martini glass.

I second this
What other ingredients would you switch up?

@@johnolmos8670 I will definitely be looking into trying this 👍🏼
It was awful! Bought all the ingredients for Father’s Day nobody liked it. Glad you liked it.
try this, my favourite gin drink:
- Gin
- Sugar Sirup
- Mango Balsamico / Orange Balsamico (your choice)
- Lemon Juice
Shake it or stir it.
when you shake it the balsamico integrates better
😂 As a parent, I understand the whole "in the glass...in the glass..."
Doesn’t change, regardless the age of the kid.
Dirty gin martini, 2 olives, and a twist. (chef's kiss)
„Too much triceps oh boy“ 🤣
Little too much juice on that one

My favorite gin drink is a Tom Collins. Such a classic drink and so refreshing.

Love the turtleneck
What’s your favorite gin cocktail?!
Tom Collins.

I have been on the negroni using Hendricks Gin here lately and the simple but refreshing gin and tonic.
Eastsider
Toss up between a Negroni and Azalea

We may need our own tv show..
Clover Club and Gin Fizz are my faves

You guys are hilarious together 🤣 keep up the good drinks 🍺✌
The Bee's Knees is one of my favorite Gin cocktails. Gin is the best spirit to make cocktails it's so versatile.
completely agree
Isn't vodka the most versatile of all alcohols? Gin has more of an herbal scent and taste.
