i am working as a fullstack developer in a startup which is size of 10 to 15 people. being a non-cs background I had to start my career asap and so i did sign a 2 years bond with the company and luckily they got me multiple projects which help me to upskill my tech knowledge whereas i have a friend who has joined in a mnc where he doesn't get a chance to code.....

It was good to know about bonds , i think it's ok that bonds exist because company train people and after gaining knowledge leaving the job for extra salary will not justify the commitment.
As mentioned 30% of bond money is good and great if company missuse it by making more of the employees then it's bad .. and had a good idea about bonds thanks Tanay ❤ sir .

My first company never insisted me to sign bonds but I was dedicated to my work and learned a lot from them. Unfortunately, due to the project constraint, I had to leave the company. Now, I am working in a better company and having multiple responsibilities. I will get into Accenture, Cognizant, and TCS after acquiring solid experience. Bond is always a red flag for a people like me.

In my previous company, company moto "Work is more important than life" there was a bond of 2 years a small service based company, Many of the freshers joined because it had very good Google reviews.(Employees only were giving 5/5 due to CEO said)
So its better to ask a person who has come out of the company and joined a new one.
Also they have promised freshers to give software testing jobs but after joining the company they have given Business Analyst role.
The company had thrown me out based on my performance else I had to pay Rs 60000 to go out of the company which I didn't had. And they have kept my original marks card for security purposes (bond assets). I have served almost 3 months. After throwing me out of the company they didn't give me experience certificate but they gave my marks card back.

Abhi training achchi chal Rahi hai , senior bhi supportive lag rahe hai, overtime jaisa bhi koi Issue nahi hai. 😊

Being a fresher i signed a 2 years bond. They provided 6 months very good training. All seniors and other colleagues helped a lot. Work culture is too good.
I didn't knew anything when i joined, but now i have learnt a lot. Now i will get a very good package for sure.
Work culture of my company is the thing for what i want to stay here, but money is the factor which will make me leave.
And in training period my salary was 15k per month, now my package is 3.6lpa.
Thank you for sharing. We only talk about the negativity of the bond but stories like these help in keeping the view balanced.

Completely agree with the terminology of bond but i should say this many IT service companies are misusing it. As a fresher i have worked with 2 companies with bonds and though i don't have any plans of leaving it but still it feels like cheated and companies culture and behaviour feels like a jail . It would not be same for every companies but yes it is for around one third companies.

Bond amount: 2.5 Lakhs
Bond period: 2.5 years
For the first 6 months No leaves, No Saturdays off.
After 6 months, No confirmation for being permanent.
I still left the job due to family problems and better opportunities near my home.
They filed a case against me in court, Now after 2 years court is about to give the decision in their favor.

Hello bhaiya, currently I have 1 offer and I am thinking to sign the bond of 1 year (2 days left for signing) 3 month internship than 1 year bond ctc is 3 lac and if I break I have to gave 75k amount company size is 35 only , any advice for this ?having good development knowledge company offer 25k for the internship and same for the full time job due to current market thinking to sign the bond 23 pass out 6 months of internship experience .
Sign the bond of 1 year after completing 3 months of internship not at the time of joining internship therefore you will get a chance to understand thier work culture during internship. If everything ok than sign bond for 1 year. Think wisely since it is a small firm.

It never happens. They may ask you to bring original certificate to tally with the xerox copy or soft copy of the original one. But no one asks to submit original certificate.

I was working in Wipro as WIMS student, which had 5 years of bond period. I left after 8 months with proper resignation but didnot payed the bond amount, hence I dont have the experience letter. Now Im pursuing MCA after 2 years of study gap after my BCA during this gap I worked for few early startups as a web developer (after leaving Wipro), also I dont have any exp letter for those. What should I do how should I answer my future employers after MCA. Will there be any trouble!

Tanay sir what if i sign a bond for 2 years( company offered software engineer role) , company gave good springboot training for first 3-4 months but after training period they immediately shift me to another team/domain saying there are no projects available now for your team. What to do? 😢

Learn something new , payment will be there , invest in a good course and make your profile upgrade...
If bond is only here to recover cost, then company can also give 1 another option to new trainees.
Big or trusted companies can start taking that training cost from employees themselves.
It can be like admission process.
Or, they can recover that training cost from trainee in form of EMI.
Companies must be transparent and must tell candidates the actual cost of training, not some higher numbers.

Right now today ...I m stucked in this situation...i joined the company as jr. Software Developer. At very first round of interview HR said ki 6 months training and another 6 months probation..total one year...and after that we expect...i repeat she exactly said ki "we expect at least you stay in the company one more year". that time I asked the HR is there bond of 2 years? ....she said No It's all verbally and we trust you.. then after i cleared 2nd i.e. last round of interview, when i finally got selected to the company, HR said ki SSC or HSC ki marksheet submit karni hogi ...they will keep my marksheet for one year....
For that I Agreed and joined the company...I started working there...But after one month, Today when i commenting on your video, at time of giving me my appointment letter, there is also an agreement letter attached to it....where it is clearly mentioned ki I have to stay with company for 24 months. If I break this condition and I leave the company before 24 months...they will not provide me any certification or documents...Not mentioned any penalty amount but Experience letter or relieving letter nahi denge....so can you please tell me what do I do?....to an extend companies environment is also not too good...as I spent one month I know the inside things...and within one week, 4 senior Developers and 1 frersher who spent one and half month left the company. And yes For first 6 months they are paying me 8,000rs. And after 6 months ....for next one year they will pay me 15,000 rs. please let me know what you think about this situation and what is your opinion...I really waiting for your reply bhaiyya🙁

Bond is just a piece of paper in small companies , I signed bond for 2 years but they want to leave his company after 10 months only due to performance issue 😂😂, company didn't give training anything ,they won't charge anything to leave their company , if you get better opportunities many companies will not stop you , if your performance is low, if your performance is best than they stops you but in case of performance they won't stop you , you are free to join any company .

In Pakistan we don't have any bound process in IT sector . We have simple 1 to 2 year agreement system but before leaving the company you have 1 month notice period .

i have got an offer of 3-3.6lpa as a software trainee for full stack >net developer(3 rounds -> 2coding ,1 hr) in a IT Consultant type and services Company with 2 years of bond for first 6-7 months in trainning im getting 12k as stipend then after training my salary will be 3-3.6lpa please tell should i join or continue searchinh jobs as i have done MERN stack and currently in learning microservices. Look as per my experience, when you apply for companies, you mostly have vacancies for java developer, software developer, python developer etc,
So in such interviews you will have aptitude then coding rounds, in coding rounds most important is how you solve that given coding problem so for that you need some practise in your language so learning some DSA will always help you. Once you are good in solving some coding questions you can start development.

I would recommend you to get any job and work for a year and build your skills in IT and make some money side by side(example:- 40k/month). After that you can work on starting a business side by side with your Tech job and if your business is making some money then leave tech job. Make some money first and then do whatever you want.(Tech career is a good backup).
