"Take on Me" is a song by the Norwegian synthpop band A-ha. (a-ha.com) Written by the band members, the song combines synthpop with a varied instrumentation that includes acoustic guitars, keyboards, and drums. It was released in 1985, and went on to become one of the best-selling singles of all time, with more than 7 million sold.
