BLU-RAY AND DVD
Eric Clapton’s lifelong passion for the blues burns brightly in Nothing But The Blues. The film - which was broadcasted once in the U.S. on PBS in 1995 and nominated for an Emmy® Award - has been upgraded to 4K for its long-awaited official release. Written and produced by Scooter Weintraub and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, the documentary includes an in-depth interview with Clapton conducted by Scorsese. Throughout the interview, Clapton discusses his love for the blues and the profound impact bluesmen like Muddy Waters and B.B. King had on his music. Many of those artists (Robert Johnson, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, T-Bone Walker) appear in the film through vintage performances, interviews, and photographs. The film also features 20 previously unreleased live performances recorded in 1994 during the legendary guitarist’s tour supporting From The Cradle, his Grammy-winning, multi-platinum blues album.
SUPER DELUXE BOX

The Super Deluxe Edition comes with the documentary on Blu-ray, the soundtrack on both 2-LP vinyl and CD, a bonus CD with four extra tracks “Driftin’,” County Jail Blues,” “Kid Man Blues,” and “It’s Too Bad,” and an exclusive hardcover book with memorabilia, including a numbered lithograph, 12x24 poster, Clapton guitar string set, custom guitar picks, and an exclusive bandana.
2LP
Eric Clapton’s lifelong passion for the blues burns brightly in Nothing But The Blues. The 2-LP of the soundtrack features 18 previously unreleased live performances recorded in 1994 during the legendary guitarist’s tour supporting From The Cradle, his Grammy-winning, multi-platinum blues album. Clapton’s longtime co-producer, Simon Climie, has remixed the audio from those performances from the original multi-tracking recordings.
The previously unreleased live performances on Nothing But the Blues serve as a vital counterpart to From The Cradle, which was recorded in the studio. While several songs appear on both (“Motherless Child,” “Standing ’Round Crying,” and “I’m Tore Down”), the performances are entirely different. The release also includes songs that did not appear on From the Cradle, including Jimmy Rogers’ “Blues All Day Long” and Robert Johnson’s “Malted Milk,” as well as the standards “Every Day I Have The Blues” and “Forty-Four.”

I LOVE ERIC CLAPTON
Hello 👋 Fan, I really appreciate your encouraging comments towards my music, The best way i can reach out is giving you guys good music but that seems not to be enough, Here's my private channels to appreciate y'all, where are you from and how long have you been a Fan?
This is Clapton at his very, very best. This is real blues.
Eric didn’t invent the blues, but he showed everyone the the proper way to do it.
There were alot of great blues men before Clapton tho he’s a great player
In my humble opinion, this concert was Clapton's very best performance. Something just happened that night.
100% agree. Best ever
ditto.
Something just happed that night just like what?… he lost his virginity that day?
Elmore would be proud. A blues standard covered by one of the best.
In my opinion... It doesn't get better than this 🎸🥁
Elmore james>
I totally agree and understand. Top Shelf.
I hear you there is nothing better than this
That's because Clapton is a believer.
He believes 100% in what he does, and it can be seen and heard.
That’s a hell of a tough opinion to argue with !!
Our guitar god is still with us!
S.O.S
Clapton at his finest.
I still couldn't figure out one thing in this video, what sounds better - his guitar, or his voice 🥺
YES!!!!
Voice is kick butt, that Clapton growl.
His singing has improved from the early days just like a fine wine. Love Slowhand!
He's on fire. And he's a brave individual. Hat's off, Mr. Clapton.
He did Elmore proud right there !!
Im 96' and I love these types of artists (who are gone today) who don't need to prove their talent by dressing up extravagantly, or putting on out-of-the-ordinary choreography. a simple t-shirt, a guitar, a microphone and a lot of love for music. ❤
For sure. I’m a youngster at 65. I hope to be still be rockin to this in the future just like you. Peace brother.
thats elmore and secund rleetwood mac but i love eric
I saw Eric Clapton perform "IT HURTS ME TOO" many times on his European tour in 1995, London, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome and Milan.
The best artist alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like fine wine... ♥️

What a blessing this man is to lovers of the guitar and blues I never get tired of Eric Clapton 💝💖💝
This album was amazing all the way through.
Same feeling !! Never get tired of Eric Clapton !!
Yes the great tradition of white people getting credit for music written by black people
Elmore James’ original version is still better
Ever never ever ❤
This is one of my favorites. I finally got tickets to see him in Columbus in September and am so excited. He was the only one left on my bucket list besides Robin Trower. Really hope he plays this and would love to get “got to get better in a little while”. Since I was a kid have wanted to see him now 35 it’s about to happen and so stoked
I’ll be there in Columbus too, second time seeing him, I saw him in the early 90s too
I have been to 6 of Eric's and you are going to have the best time
@@stephaniereno1341 my god
Promise, you won't regret seeing him! Been seeing him last friday. Unbelievable!!!
Saw him 12 feet away at then new Gund arena, an evening but Nothing but the Blues tour. Jimmy Ray Vaughan opened up.
His gift and talent still ride on.
Hello Sharon
Yeah Elmore James (the guy who wrote and recorded this song ) was great. I guess Eric just “forgot” to credit him🙄
Elmore James also wrote: The Sky Is Crying( not SRV) and other great songs like Dust My Broom, Shake Your Money Maker.. and Blues Before Sunrise which Eric again “forgot” to credit
What's your beef? EC and other modern musicians brought recognition and appreciation to the great blues masters of the past. Buddy Guy doesn't have a problem with EC, why should you ?
@@johnthomas1843 Exactly! 🎯🎯🎯
Eric is one of the best blues man ever
De acuerdo contigo🎸🎤🎼💪👏👏wowwww🔥🎸👏❤
I'm sure Elmore James woulda loved this.Eric knocks it out of the park!
Lyrics ❤️
You said you was hurting,
Almost lost your mind,
And the man you love,
He hurts you all the time.
When things go wrong,
Go wrong with you,
It hurts me, too.
You love him more
When you should love him less.
I pick up behind him
And take his mess.
When things go wrong,
Go wrong with you,
It hurts me, too.
He love another woman
And I love you,
But you love him
And stick to him like glue.
When things go wrong,
Go wrong with you,
It hurts me, too.
Now you better leave him;
He better put you down.
Oh, I won't stand
To see you pushed around.
When things go wrong,
Go wrong with you,
It hurts me, too.

This man is a multi generational mega guitar monster!
Honest to god he got better looking and the voice just keeps getting better
We love ❤️ you Mr Eric
Props to the great Elmore James -lovely version of his classic.
Come sempre fantastic.
Amo Clapton Ed il blues.
Grande interprete.

Oh my goodness.... Please, Mr. Clapton, you should record more albums like this one. I've discovered Blues because of From The Cradle. And it's my favorite album of all time. ❤️
Exactly!!!
Tore Down is a great song off that album
The hand of god
This song speaks to me on such deep levels. Even I don't know why. That growling voice and that guitar damn.
What a powerhouse of talent, just belting it out. The closest I've been to this artist is the Hard Rock Cafe in London where, I heard, he has a reserved seat at the bar.
Amazing tone
Amazing vocals
Amazing EC
❤❤❤
Perfection ……
The voice...the guitar...same great level.
This album (FtC) is, for me, the best album he has ever recorded. This documentary and new material is nothing but perfect.
Clapton is God
First I listen this was John Mayall Looking Back record....nice.....
Blues is a feeling, and Eric knows that feeling ..
Exterioriza sus sentimientos.🔥🎸
Gracias sr.Clapton❤🎤💪👏
I like this guy & feel sad when i think about his 4 yr old son's demise after falling from a window of a New York high rise. He was a shattered man. That boy would have been about 35 yrs old now. Both father & son would have been rocking the stage.
He never knew his father... lost a son... kinda like Mike Tyson who lost a daughter and was raised by Cus Damato
He went from a blues player to a bluesman with those tragedies.
That intensity level was so darn high! I began listening to Elmore James about 3 nights ago with "Shake your money maker" album and that was a supreme experience. I look at this and this is as good and I gotta say that Eric's love for the blues and the blues musicians is beyond imagination.
Eric turned his amp all the way up instead of keeping the sound clean as Elmore J. did is such a delightful change. Thank you Eric! Always a hero of mine.
Try to find "Shake..."eric and jeff beck, must be around 2010, to see how he sings
@@pabloperez4063 Hey there! I just saw that one and I'd seen it some time ago but this time it was enjoyed even more! I listened to Shake Your Money Maker album by Elmore J. last week and that gentleman blew my mind out, Pablo. I'll be listening to Elmore even more because of that also it was my first ever album listening by E. J.
Also, please don't fall prey to that fake Eric Clapton page runner on Slowhand Archives Project Channel. I alarmed you there too. Que tengas un buen día, mi amigo.
Man, it's so beautiful and it has a stinger.
What a force here man !!!!
When you are all the Cream that's left! Outstanding E C 🤗
Damn that’s some fantastic Elmore sound.
Incredible ! Two more days to wait and I'll be standing in the row to get in the Antwerp concert...I bought these tickets two years ago. !
Thank you God for allowing me to live in the same era as him (Eric)
@SophieBelleClaptonThank you, tell to your dad that I love him, he´s the best guitarplayer in the whole world.
@SophieBelleClapton I've loved your daddy's music for about 5 years, I know it's a very short time, but I'm lucky to be able to listen to it.
@SophieBelleClapton No, never, but I hope to do it in October when I come to Mexico.
@SophieBelleClapton Of course, I would like to see all the concerts.
Lovely blues, love Elmore James. Clap Clap Clapton!
@SophieBelleClapton Thanks to you, to your Daddy’s heart and soul that lighted our souls line Elmore and Robert Johnson did to all us thru our life. God bless Eric Clapton please!
Clapton is God !!!
Eric Clapton sounds and play the Blues like Nobody else. The Best - spezial with Gibson Guitars . 👏👏👏. His vocals also suberb. Good bless him.
просто и гениально.
From the Cradle is my favorite blues album ever.
First time I've ever seen him play a hollow body electric guitar.
Solid! Speechless! Best the internet gave me in a long time
My God the slide work is awesome
Incomparable singer, guitarist and musician. Ladies and gentlemen Eric Clapton.
yes, but singer?
Absolutely🙌🏻❤
@@herbertluthe6850 you will find out
@@herbertluthe6850
Weirdly, I find him often sublime and often very mediocre. I can’t quite explain it.
@@CompelledUsername his guitar is always sublime, his singing voice is mediocre. attended a concert in D'dorf some 40 years ago and in München some 15 years ago - both times business as usual ... the Cream songs I like most.
Clapton the BEST in the World 🎸💝😻😘💋🎁🥳💖🎉💃🕺👌👌👌😎😜
Best version of this song. Of anyone Eric!
Sei il solo che merita l'Eternita'
💖
Elmore James will be happy ! MV
Eric we thank you for the great music and for STANDING FOR THE TRUTH AND HUMANITY and asking about what's going on. Even if your phone don't ring, don't ring, keep singing, playing, asking, don't stop, don't stop. "Always be ready to speak your mind, and a base man will avoid you." Blake. Love to you!
👍‼️
Exactly why I love him even more!

Thanks for the love and support you showered on me, it's been a wonderful year having fans like solidly behind me, this is my way of saying thank you to the people who brought me this far.
It never gets old hearing him sing and play. It must be the new guitar lol.
I have his first guitar with the emblem on the scroll with black horse like ferrari CN0000 0000 0479 it's called Blacky not because of race.

This is Eric Clapton!!
Eric plays and sings sooooo goooood.....
That’s a good one!
How did a shy British kid from Ripley turn into this. Clapton is God 😊
Я балдею от его голоса и игры... просто БОГ!
This Elmore James classic is one of my favorite songs of all times. Clapton plays & sings this song with so much feeling & compassion. First rate performance. PEACE!
The intro to this song is my phone signal... Makes you feel good every time someone calls🤩😃
It used to be my ring signal too, but I had to change it. I never wanted to answer because I didn't want to stop the song.
Saudades do tempo que eu ouvia isso bem alto no meu Chevette 87.
Just saw him a few days ago in Munich. Flew over just for that. Beautiful. The man is a legend.
Amazing Song I love the blues especially when it's Eric Clapton you have a powerful song going on!
ERIC thanks for releasing this Film, it is a GREAT one!!!!! One day you will long be remembered as the Great White Blues Lover that you are!!!!
Amen!
This guy is the blues master, he took what was there and did something indescribable at times, may many time, 60 plus yrs.Oh man this is a 2x in a row listen ;) And i love it bc i love slide but he doesnt do it as much as id love (I love Trucks)
I love how effortlessly he plays he's jamming but doesn't look like it. I seen him in concert played everything I wanted to hear. One of the best concerts I've ever seen.
That power did not come from the volume, that was coming from his soul,
Ohmygoodness Eric Clapton a brilliant artist singer songwriter performer genius!!!!🎼🎸🎶❤❤❤

EC always has and will be GOD
Rorbery Barreuther, I too have been a huge fan of Eric Clapton for many decades! He has been abundantly blessed as a musician and his incredible way he can play the guitar and the way he truly brings powerful voice that brings the songs he sings to life! He is brilliant and has a following from young teenagers to 70-80 plus years age. He has devoted his life to perfecting his talent and that allowed him to be a husband and a dad. He will always be #1 to me and all of his fans.
BUT, saying all of that, it makes me so uncomfortable when he is referred to as God. I would imagine that he too would not want to called God.
I am not calling you out over this but just wanted to let you know how there are so many ways to describe his abilities without calling him God. He has fine tuned his craft, his own desires to be improving his talents and I will be listening to him until I pass away! Our children grew up listening to their parents playing Eric Clapton music and listen to him to today, as grown adults and even our grandchildren enjoy his music. That’s just my own personal feelings about him being God.
The 90's were an amazing decade for Clapton , and for all the music in general ..
