    You're really helping me get back into DJing man... I need to see you scratching on these deck. FYI... I grew up on 1200s so I need the feel of that strong platter

      Thanks man, I been spinning for a very long time and I thank you for watching... These are even stronger than the 1200's so you will be right at home...

    Finally! someone who knows what they are talking about! Absolutely the best review with the underground knowledge of the SUPER OEM/HANPIN units compared to the Technics 1200 MK series. I enjoyed this review very much. Thanks for taking the time to educate people very in-dept. I'm yet to test one of these SUPER OEM units since all I ever used was 1200's. My question to you is, What do you think of the floating platter design? Is there wobble when scratching? For the slightly heavy handed DJs?

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  9 років тому +1

      Thanks! There is absolutely NO wobble at all... even if you stood on top of it... It doesn't float in the sense that you may think as it is attached via the steel ring towards the center of the platter. It's solid though...

    even the dicers light up the triggers in different colours to be super clear about what the button is.
    being built in - they really ought to have full color on each pad...

    is it better than the stanton ? now there are too many tables to choose from lol ...for a minute there was no options it seems like the midi buttons will bust sooner or later i think they should stay on the mixers

      *****
      They are very similar, but i believe 7000 you can get 1.6 tq much similar to technics torque compared to 8000 minimum is 2.5 tq

  • @ls4life544
    @ls4life544 8 років тому

    @Kareem first of all thanks for the review on the RP-8000. My question to you and anyone who may read this. I have the Denon SC3900 Hybrid Turntable and to be crazy I have and use Traktor Pro, Serato Dj, and the new Rekordbox DJ software. The question is this how would you start rebuilding your DVS system. what would you buy first the turntable or mixer and for my taste I like to get into a battle mixer. I also already have the DJM-850 with mini innofader but I am looking to get something I could use across each platform. For what ever your answer may be what would you recommend, money is not to say not important because it is but I like to buy once not over and over. Sorry for the long post.

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  8 років тому +2

      +Landy Delossantos For a DVS setup, there is only a few mixers that would work with all the software. You may have to pick a software you like the most, then get the mixer to work with it. For turntables I would get the Stanton ST150 but you can look at the Epsilon Turntables which are half the price but has the same motor, tonearm, and much more...

    Hi!
    I need your help guys!
    I currently own a Stanton ST 150 and want to exchange it with another platter, at least as good, but closer to the feeling of Technics. The Stanton has a much stronger torque than the Technics. I usually play on Technics at clubs and the first few minutes are strange because i must to get used to the sensitivity of the Technics.
    So, the reloop rp 7000 will fit to my needs ? Thanks in advanced!
    Any opinion is welcome :).

  • @alexsthillaire

    U said one of your gripes was the on/off motor function,but if u stop and think the start/stop feature basically does what u would want the motor switch to do;stop the motor.No cover is crazy though.

      Hey I consider u a professional who has adapted through the years with all the DJ world has to offer, we now have a turntable that's now map-able to dj software plus torque adjustable so there must be a give and take bro.I'm sure u can make that feature work for u.

    Hi,great review. I am wondering if you could help me, I am using traktor scratch with an A6 soundcard. I have a pioneer 707 mixer, so i am craving midi controll. But would I be able to use the midi controll on the reeloop rp8000 with my setup? Or do i need another soundcard or something?

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  10 років тому

      You can certainly use the buttons and knobs on the RP-8000's to control lots of the features in Traktor. There is a Traktor mapping for the RP-8000 that you can load into the Traktor Pro 2 software. It should be at the reloop website. If not, I'm sure you can search and find a Mapping for it on google.

    i bought 2 rellops 7000 and both suffered from tone arms issues. they were wobbly/loose and the anti skate did not work either. maby i got a bad batch but something feels fishy.

    • @RealDJblaze
      @RealDJblaze  9 років тому

      +Dowmatic Thats a possibility. You can also tighten down the tonearms yourself using a screwdriver. You have to be very gentle and it should only take like an eight of a turn on each of the tonearm screws. I've seen this before on other Super-OEM turntables...

      Djmixtycal It's a lot to set up actually. First download Serato DJ. Plug your USB cables into the computer from the turntables and SL2 Box and the Z2. Then you need to Map the buttons and such on the Z2 to work with Serato yourself. Should work after all of this...
