A lot of people are criticizing Bryana Holly's acting in this music video but I think she did really well. The point of it was to reference movies, (something which Hoodie Allen does a lot,) such as Casablanca for the detective scene and The Royal Tenenbaums for the balloon scene. People are saying she overacted the "horror movie bit" but if you'd seen The Shining then you'd know that's sorta the whole point. She recreated Shelley Duvall's facial expressions perfectly and obviously did her research on these movies. As someone who doesn't give a damn that she's dating Ashton or whoever, I'd like to offer up my unbiased opinion and say she absolutely nailed this video. Good stuff Bryana :-)
