I almost forgot to leave a comment here. FINALLY! This is probably the biggest project I've ever worked on. I had to put a lot of time into the script and editing, as well as getting new equipment. When making this video, I decided to work on it with passion as Discord is a character I enjoy so much. I hope my video provided a great amount of entertainment or interest.
This was well written and I love the understanding you have of this chaos noodle. Discord is my favorite character maybe in all fiction, so just a run down of his reformation and the slow decent from evil to friend is great. I think the writers did a pretty good job still having him be chaotic but not flat out evil. The recent G5 comics are… iffy. I’m glad to see Discord and his intentions are good, I just can’t understand him fully leaving.
You made some good points about Discord and his development. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! Discord is one of my favorite MLP characters due to his design and his funny and kind moments post-reformation. There are some scenes with him that I think could have been handled differently, but I find him very interesting overall. I can't help but feel that Discord is treated unfairly compared to other reformed villains. The guy gets turned to stone, which is something you'd expect a villain to do, not a hero. For a long time, only Fluttershy is truly kind to him. The others don't really make an effort to be nice and even threaten him with petrification and forced reformation without being called out for it. I don't think we've ever seen anyone glaring at Luna or threatening to banish her back to the moon when she messed up. None of the other reformed villains seem to have had as much trouble with friendship as Discord has.
I actually have been wanting to discuss his character in season 9. I've just been busy improving myself and thinking about how I could improve my content overall. Maybe I could take a break from my ambitions for a bit and make a video about him sooner. It shouldn't be too hard, but I like to take my time.
Discord is given a lot more flak for the grogar thing than he deserves and their are many things that are looked over and discarded and forgotten about his character by the fandom for the purpose of demoralizing him. And i would be willing to have a collab video to discuss why

Before I decide on doing one though, I was wondering what you had in mind for the collab if we were to do one about Discord in the Season 9 finale. Also my opinion on Discord in the Season 9 finale has change to mostly negative, but I'm open to hearing different opinions.
@@crimelorddiscord6532 i think it would be good to note on discords subtle character development in s9 before the finale and then discuss s9 finale discord and to note how discords character has always meant to always contrast with the other standard good guys
@@crimelorddiscord6532 i can specify discuss how i feel discord has been given demoralizing treatment for the finale much like twilight did for trying to steal the pearl in the movie. Or at least wat the story was going for and basically noting positives of the complexity of discords character in the finale in how it does show his growth. Stuff like that.
@@FreshZCORD I think that sounds pretty good. I'd be willing to discuss more about the collab in Discord(the chat device not the character) if you have it. I just need two more days until I can discuss the plan as there are couple things I need to do during those days.
Yeah. I was fine with his character in season 9 for a bit, but after thinking about it for while I started to not like the decision he made at the end. I don't think it destroyed everything about him that came before it, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth.
