This was the most consistently unlucky I've seen anyone be in a video game. You should have been able to get a jackpot before the 20 min mark, just by the nature of the statistics of it all. I'm impressed

This was my favorite of the new levels! Robot was already my favorite character, and using coins instead of dice is a fun twist on his game.
17:12 The difference between the "Needs Match" on Spiky Shield (the one with an equal sign) and the one on Pea Shooter (the one with the white circles) is that the one with the equal sign needs both to be put in on the same turn whereas the white circles one you can fill it up partway on one turn and finish it on a later turn. The equal sign one is the equivalent of a "Needs Doubles" for dice while the white circles is the equivalent of a countdown. But yeah maybe they should slightly tweak the terminology a bit to make it more clear that they are different.
Fun fact: Even though the Robot is playing with coins instead of dices, the Burn still has a square-square-ish format.
If you play the episode in german the robot learned spanish.
But interestingly, if you play it in Korean, they still learn learn Korean (from a German textbook)!

I think on the "different Visuals for the Same thing" question that came up, is that one you can Slot in one and save between turns, and for the other you need to put in both the Same turn

I'm 7 minutes in, but it seems, assuming that coin tosses are fair, that the chance of hitting the jackpot or whatever is the coin equivalent here actually decreases with more CPU. I really haven't thought how to calculate the probability of hitting the jackpot with the classical dice robot, but my intuition tells me that it doesn't decrease, so here's that
For vanilla Robot, the probability hovers at ~28%ish constantly: 9 CPU = 28.03%; 11 CPU = 29.34%, 13 CPU = 27.92%, 15 CPU = 28.61%. (It asymptotes at 2/7, for some reason!)
For Coinbot, the probability at 4 CPU is 37.5%, and at 5 or 6 CPU it's 31.25%. Blows my mind that the odds of jackpotting at 5 and 6 CPU are the same, but it makes sense - after calculating once at 6 CPU, whatever you flip it's like you just have 5 CPU!

The jackpot chance for normal robot is always 1 in 6 because only the last roll matters.
No it isn't! Say you're at 6 CPU. The odds of you jackpotting instantly are 1/6. However, if you roll a 5, then you roll a 1, you've jackpotted again. So clearly, the odds must be *higher* than 1/6.
@@jackeea_ yeah, I realized that right when I laid down in bed last night. My brain must have been cooked when I made that reply.
I think coin toss is much better than it is perceived. Early on when it was your first new equipment, all you had was something that needed heads to activate and a pair for 3 damage with the other. In that situation you got 1 tails and 2 heads, that extra head is useless to you since one will be used on the heads only equipment. It could do 8 damage and give a head back, or give you a tails to activate the other equipment, which will get over the 2 shields they obtained and do 1 damage. Yeah, less damage sucks, but it still provided you a way to do that extra damage since your only other method was to hope you did not crash by getting another head in the coin draws. It's selling point is not so much the damage it provides, but the assists to other equipment usage costs.

You got super unlucky with the jackpots. I went for all the gold cards and the full jackpot where you gamble all your coins away does pretty good damage

Bro got 6 heads in a row at one point, that is a %1.5265 of happening
if you look closely, crystaline had gotten a "bear crystal" basically bear potion, i wonder if things would change in the reunion dlc if you use theif to take the bear crystal, while it seems pretty unlikely, as crystaline (or you) have to get the bear crystal, and if crystaline gets it, you have to be able to take it before crystaline can use it, i hope we at least get a bear video for the dlc
Unfortunately, you can't get it - it's listed as an item you can't steal, and even if you steal the Crystallize that gets it, that item only gives Bear Crystal if you're Crystalina. This is because while Bear runs are kinda fun the first time you play them, it kind of would ruin the gimmick of this episode.

I don't see why the difficulty rating is so high for this version of the robot.
Coins are hard to wrap your head around! Originally Robot was the second character (and Jester was the fifth), but Robot felt too difficult and Jester too easy, so their positions got swapped around.
Really good episode. But where is revita kid :c
