THE LIST: 1. K.W. Jeter, Farewell Horizontal 2. Julian May, Intervention 3. Alan Dean Foster, Nor Crystal Tears 4. C. Robert Cargill, Sea of Rust 5. Gordon R. Dickson, Soldier Ask Not 6. David Brin, Startide Rising 7. Howard Waldrop, Them Bones
Thanks Steve, I'm Glad I made you shout at the Screen. If I make people shout at the screen my work is done, and yes I do do other things but it is mainly Sf. Great List and I nearly shouted about the KW Jeter. I very nearly put The Many Coloured Land on my list (maybe I should have above Gerrold?). I've not read Intervention, I think I own it though. I'm a huge fan of Alan Dean Foster and your right about the short story collections.
I love the SF Masterworks series, it's one of the only series where I can pick one up at random and almost always be happy with it. Startide Rising was a hit with me after I picked it up on your recommendation, I liked it a lot more than The Postman which wasn't bad but felt less original. I've just ordered Sea of Rust, sounds fun! I would add Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky to the series.

There were silm pickings in my channels I subcribe to today Steve. Interesting video!
Them Bones sounds absolutely wacky and so much fun from the synopsis on Goodreads!
