After 9 year of de-cocker carrying a PCR I am going back to my 1911 roots with a Shadow 2 compact OR. Aging eyes mandate an optic. Waiting on the optic plate, even with my vision issues I am shooting this nearly as well as the PCR (with trigger job) that I have put a few thousand rounds through. LOK make wonderful palm swell grips for these if you also have large hands!
Retailers here are $1,129 or $1,199 and out the door not sure where it would be for $2,000 that’s nuts.. and my PO1 mags work but they don’t lock back fyi
Thank you for confirming what I tell everyone this guy is a good carry God with proper training and carrying it in the cock position. I have been listening to your channel for a while now and have to say you give very, very good information. Definitely should help those that I knew in the gun industry, I am an old dog and I always like to learn new tricks thank you
good afternoon, 3 months ago I bought my cz shadow 2 compact, I spent 50 bullets on it and I was impressed with the precision and how nice it is, I cleaned it and then a month later I go with my friends to the range because they wanted to try it, and after 15 bullets It stays in single action, it won't let me take it to double action or return the hammer, I realize that the trigger (trigger) has a screw that is touching so that the trigger cannot be activated, I call the ameria and they tell me They say that with a wrench I returned the screw and the problem was fixed, after 15 days I go again and on the second 15 hopper that I am shooting the same thing happens again. I didn't feel very comfortable because it is my life that is at stake, I wanted to ask you if this has happened to you or if I just have bad luck and what advice do you give me based on your experience, thank you. I appreciate your response.
CZ Shadow 2 guns have adjustable trigger and once you have it adjusted, this tiny screw must be secured in position with Loctite. This gun is very safe to carry (if you lucky to find a good holster, I didn’t yet) but you have to understand how this gun is intended to use. Remember, this is a competition gun. 😜
CZ Shadow 2 and CZ Shadow 2 Compact are two best guns ever made. Staccato guns are more expensive, but none of these 1911 named 2011 cannot come close to CZ Shadow series of guns. It is nice to be patriotic, but it is not nice to lie to people. CZ Shadow 2 guns doesn’t have de-cooking lever simply because there is no need for it. I am an American, who was born in Europe and dislike most born Americans, we have developed much stronger common sense. We didn’t grow up with 1911, (mostly because of the .45 caliber we don’t understand) and we didn’t develop taste and beliefs that gun with more buttons and levers is better gun. 😂 It is just the opposite. Once you racked the slide of your CZ to place a bullet in the chamber, place your left index finger in between hammer and back of the slide and pull the trigger. Then rolling your finger toward yourself, the hammer will be moved to quarter cook position which is how you want to safely carry your gun. Don’t put your gun in safe mode, this is dangerous in my opinion. I use it only at range. If you hold the trigger, and roll your finger, then hammer will go back completely.
I have one and love it. However it’s a little finicky as to what hollow point 9mm it’s fed as most competition guns are. BTW I was able to buy it 2weeks ago for $1499. That price has not been seen again again.
This does not feel like a legitimate review, more like a ROBO review. The CZ's are awesome weapons but I prefer to see a real person standing and firing the weapon. No footage of ROBOguy firing the weapon, fake I think.

So a robot shot 1000 rounds through this CZ?
😂
Yeah this "review" consists of footage from the CZ website and YT channel.. a AI generated voice-over and that's it.

Cmon man…you know AI can do it all
A CZ Shadow 2 Compact in the 40 Watt range.
@@Catgat37 Hey, just what you see pal.
It's always exciting when a renowned manufacturer like CZ introduces a new addition to their lineup, especially one touted as competition-ready.
Well worth the money!!! Outstanding firearm!! Thanks for sharing

Not sure why the title stresses "After Thousands Rounds"... This is no different from reading the product page...
Scott 😂 wait did Ted the robot get fired😢
I'm pretty sure it's because he couldn't pronounce Millimeter.🤣🤣🤣

Great gun but I have a Shadow 2 full size so I got the P01 for carry a better option for carry
Two reasons I don't want one: 1) No de-cocker. 2) It's 9mm only.
Who’s this Scott? Where’s my boy Ted??

Good Material: I'm from Europe and I have a choice to make CZ Compact or CZ Sh2 OR
condition 3 would still be the best
I do not understand the point of having a DA trigger ... without a decocker. If you have to carry C&L, SAO is all you need.

Bought mine picking it up in a couple days, what ammo do you recommend?
@@jessematarazzo1187 In hollow point I have no problem with Winchester Defender 9mm 124 grain. Other than that all FMJ 9mm feeds well.
Just bought one today at $1230 at my lgs
@@carlosflore18 Enjoy!
My local store had it in stock for $1199 with the blue grips. It's crazy expensive online though.
Cool range toy that's about it.
