For 27 years old, at that price, I'd buy that over any production RV and roll down the road! It shocks me that more of these Vintage Prevost Riveted Coaches aren't more popular. Show me another "RV" 27 years old and compare it to this work of art! Can't be beat! This coach will still be around in another 27 years if it's kept up the way it has its first 27 years. If this was my price point, I'd be all over this one! Thanks for sharing this one Andrew!
Yes! A value. That engine is in its 30’s to 40’s in human years. But the under 400k miles means there’s a lot that ‘could’ be wrong. I’d recommend reviewing and comparing maintenance records closely. Suspension, and every other component has been vibrating for 30 years.
What separates these from the production line coaches is that they are buses. So they are designed to keep going. I remember taking a Greyhound trip from NY to CA. The bus engine was never shut off when we stopped at cities to pick up/drop off passengers.Kryptonite to these coaches is NOT keeping them on the road.
@@tanner882 Yeah, it’s called 8V-92 Silver Series!! And they know it!! 🤣🤣 The only way to keep that thing from leaking oil is to not put any in it!! The head gaskets on that thing are literally rubber bands!!
My wife just said that this was a beautiful coach for 1994! I said that it’s equally beautiful for 2021 as well! I love that ‘no slides’ interior look! Thanks for sharing this blast from the past 👏🏼
The exterior is what really sells it for me. The red paint with the contrasting stainless steel trim work on the lower half is so striking. As for the interior, to paraphrase a famous line from the Christmas Story movie “it looks like a mauve nightmare!” You save big bucks on buying the coach and then you’ll probably have to spend another at least $100,000 on updating and making the interior the way you’d like it. It only takes money!
I love this coach. We had a 1992 Vogue Prima Vista which I sold in a stupid moment. Traveled for years with no slides and was the “hit” of every campground . This is the bomb, Thanks Andrew
I have had three of these and I can tell you for a fact if you can find a place to fix it, Nashville was the only one we found. It runs $8,000 each time.
That red would be great for any Husker, Bama or Oklahoma fan! A bit of cosmetic updating would go a long way. As you pointed out, carpet and upholstery
That is not a bad price for what you get for that coach. Change out the furniture, carpet, and window treatments it will make an awesome Prevost. Thanks, Andrew for another great video.
Amazing condition all things considered, wouldn't take much to update it to a very useable and fun coach, at this price, I wouldn't think it'll last very long before it's sold ...if the right crowd sees it.
That is a high mileage unit for a factory conversion not in the entertainer industry. But like you said the best things for these buses is to be used. Sitting around kills them. The motor is probably good for another 100k miles before it needs an inframe.
Yes...nothing says robust quite like a piano hinge. Andrew you have said it many times in your reviews, piano hinges mean quality. That piano hinge sold me on all the coaches we reviewed together. How could anyone be so full hearty as to purchase a RV without a piano hinge.
I LOVE these 90's Prevosts. I am not a fan of the new ones. It's like owning a classic which is the only way I can describe it. Great fit and finish for a coach almost 30 years old and for less than 100 grand, you get something that's way better than any brand new contemporary production line DP that costs 300K. I wouldn't change a thing on this one.
The first coach I drove at the beginning of my bus driving career was a XL40 with a 8v92. This coach is gorgeous. And I am in the market for a bus conversion or a Class A.
Although in great condition, a buyer might consider upgrading to a 60 series. That's a lot of miles on a two stroke,( they had to be rebuilt more often) if you can nail down an old school mechanic to work on them. And California is pushing hard to ban them. Pretty steep price for all that old style engine needs.
Should of done this video in a Nirvana or Soundgarden t shirt! Truly a rock stars coach celebrating the 90s. Instead of a 'beep' when backing up, it could play the AOL logging on screech.
Those are some of the best Prevost built. That’s a good price considering anything newer is what, $500k and up. A friend spent $1.2 mil on his 10 years ago. That chrome/stainless takes some elbow grease. 361,000 miles is just getting started. I’m sure all the bugs are worked out😜. Flat screens weren’t in these in 94. Move that Vizio and I bet there’s a big box for an old school 20 inch diagonal and 20 inch deep tv. That color is Mauve btw. Teal and Mauves were all the rage in late 80’s to mid 90’s.
This is beautiful!!! I have to admit, I like slides but....this is pretty nice. I like galley and the bedroom... wish the toilet was completely private. Overall, this is definitely a winner.
300k isn’t too bad as long as it’s been regularly used. I got a buddy with a Newell that will take it to the market a few times in the off season. That’s a battleship that will outlast me and maybe even you. 10 year rule, ha . Price is really good. In a different line I buy it.
I love that wrap around beside the driver seat! This thing is amazing!! I would absolutely love to have it. And if it has the engine I think it has that 380k miles is seriously just getting this thing broken in lol like you said the tour buses just like it have well over a million miles so in that case this one has a good 600k plus left on her!!!
8V92 not my favorite enguine but I did get 850k out of mine before I had to overhaul it but you have to keep up on the oil leaks they always get.over 300k miles they need to run the rack ,adjust injectors etc,
That's the classic looking coach that looks like rockstars would walk out of any minute. That's the one I'd want. If I didn't lose my job that relocated last week,...I could have. Ugh
I prefer no slide out , but I like the one with, extra sleeping bunks. I think you call it the entertainer or tour package; Meaning the type used by a music band.
P.S., forgot to men- tion they also do other maintenance, such as the air brakes, airbags, oil changes, wheel bearings. He will tell you the right oil and coolant to use on these engines and educate you about them.
You'd wanna get to your destination quick and turn off the key. California might cite you going up a hill or just at normal acceleration. 😁😂 She's a beauty.
To everyone with the Detroit Diesel two- strokes, look at Bus Grease Monkey on you tube. Scott & his son Tyler do ex- cellent work.He only does 2 strokes and just recently got into some DDEC's..
First minute my fiance said that's almost 30 years old and I said depends on miles... I like hearing your opinion on it being in the 300's going for a million miles
Andrew, in all these luxurious honeys, can I ask you whether the Bidet is coming on the scene? I noticed the late Michael Jackson had one installed on his. Personally, I think the Bidet is the best thing to come on the scene since cornbread and fried green tomatoes.
Nice coach considering that a new Ford Raptor goes for about the same price Minus the questionable gas mileage and you're unable to take it off road LOL
For 27 years old, at that price, I'd buy that over any production RV and roll down the road! It shocks me that more of these Vintage Prevost Riveted Coaches aren't more popular. Show me another "RV" 27 years old and compare it to this work of art!

I completely agree! I would absolutely love to have this thing!!
Dude pickups are this price, something is off lol
@@tanner882 Yeah, it’s called 8V-92 Silver Series!! And they know it!! 🤣🤣 The only way to keep that thing from leaking oil is to not put any in it!! The head gaskets on that thing are literally rubber bands!!
Love these classics, I can imagine an old school road trip of several months in this one.
Heck yeah, that's a great idea!

Spot on with the no slides . 👍🏻What good is it if slides block bathroom or ability to get to bedroom when pulled in ?
I was renting cars in the early 90's when the champagne color palettes became popular in the automotive industry. Still works well in this coach.
The exterior is what really sells it for me. The red paint with the contrasting stainless steel trim work on the lower half is so striking. This coach is a far better coach then the new ones. I drove these for NASCAR for 7 years. They are awesome.
That is beautiful. The chrome, the quality you can almost feel through the video. I love well-taken care-of machines like this.
I have had three of these and I can tell you for a fact if you can find a place to fix it, Nashville was the only one we found. It runs $8,000 each time.

Exactly, the hard points are very nice on this coach. A skilled refit shop could update this coach to 2022.
I really like this one and as you said furniture can be updated but all in all it’s quality built for sure .
Amazing condition all things considered, wouldn't take much to update it to a very useable and fun coach, at this price, I wouldn't think it'll last very long before it's sold ...if the right crowd sees it.
I love the 1990s rigs even without slides. It was made the year after i graduated from highschool
Very beautiful coach for the year it was taken very well care of 👍🇺🇲❤
I wouldn’t update. I like the retro look and it’s only going to be cooler with time.
That is a high mileage unit for a factory conversion not in the entertainer industry. But like you said the best things for these buses is to be used. Sitting around kills them. The motor is probably good for another 100k miles before it needs an inframe.
The early Country Coach are some of the best work converting buses by Country Coach.
I think you would need a KC135 to fill that up. What's the price in Dollars to fill the tank full of this beast!
Naaaah..KC-10 maybe🤣🤣🤣
A great buy!I wouldn’t change anything
Yes...nothing says robust quite like a piano hinge. Andrew you have said it many times in your reviews, piano hinges mean quality.
That piano hinge sold me on all the coaches we reviewed together. How could anyone be so full hearty as to purchase a RV without a piano hinge.
It’s beautiful, whoever buys it needs to have the cash to convert it from the 8V to a series 60! Then it would be ready for another 30 years!
Great podcast thanks for sharing
That coach with some new updated parts would be sweet!
I LOVE these 90's Prevosts. I am not a fan of the new ones. It's like owning a classic which is the only way I can describe it. I totally agree!
I’d have to change the valances, recover the sofa and change the bedding and more comfy dining chairs, otherwise it’s mine
Cool to see this and new one. What he likes on new and misses.
Again Andrew, you have found a great one at a Fantastic price.
OKH HHHMMM
Absolutely GORGEOUS ❤
The first coach I drove at the beginning of my bus driving career was a XL40 with a 8v92. This coach is gorgeous. And I am in the market for a bus conversion or a Class A.
Love it....the decorations I can handle...but all and all its beautiful
The older coaches are so well designed! What is
a little cosmetic updating considering the price??
Although in great condition, a buyer might consider upgrading to a 60 series. That's a lot of miles on a two stroke,( they had to be rebuilt more often) if you can nail down an old school mechanic to work on them. And California is pushing hard to ban them. Love this coach. Like the old school look. Some new upholstery and it would look awesome 👌!!!
Beautiful, unique an like it for its character

Thank you for opening the engine compartment!
Every UA-cam seller, especially this guy "if I keep calling it a coach, it'll sound like an extra special coach." Jesus. 🤣
360,000 on a Detroit Diesel is nothing.
It's just getting "broken in"!😁
The only Prevost is a classis Le Mirage (XL) with no slide, such beautiful rigs, and wow a buddy seat such a classic
This is beautiful!!! I have to admit, I like slides but....this is pretty nice. I like galley and the bedroom... wish the toilet was completely private. Overall, this is definitely a winner.
Nice older coach. That's a pretty much indestructible engine. Wonder what the underside looks like. 👍
"The company was founded in 2002 and is based in Irvine, California, United States." Does this quote go to your concern about Vizio, Andrew?
a deep shampooing and drying would bring the carpet upholstery and valances back to life

Wow.......a full size mirror facing you on the toilet. Classy...........................
Would love a coach like that!

The Silver Series is a very good motor!
That bus look like the one that Ernest Borgnine owned in 1995 in a Discovery channel documentary Ernest Borgnine Bus called the Sunbum .
I like the look it's got, wonder how tall it is on inside
Love it. Can you quote conversion to RHD and delivery to Australia?
Andrew nothing beats your b+... #1 and the most important you get to keep your money and don’t go to the poor house
I’m sure it’s not available anymore?
Have a comparable coach saved here in North NJ. Previously June Carter cash's same year too. But I want an airstream before I go motorcoach tag axle
First minute my fiance said that's almost 30 years old and I said depends on miles... I like hearing your opinion on it being in the 300's going for a million miles

Needs a little redecorating, but it is still beautiful!
I was thinking the same thing
Woo it's very beautiful .
I like To take this RV And drive it👸🤴🦸♀️

I love 💕 this amazing for 1994
Mauve automotive paint!!!!! Straight up 90’s!!!😂
Diggin this retro coach!!! 👍
Nice coach considering that a new Ford Raptor goes for about the same price
Minus the questionable gas mileage and you're unable to take it off road LOL
Andrew, yearly cost of this guy?
👍👍 Good ole Prevost Le Mirage.
Nice coach a slide in bedroom would be nice still nicely kept
Love it😊
I will take it!!!!
Love the coach!
All the components look dated for sure, however the condition is pristine!
this is really nice and affordable!
Nice coach Andrew! Cheers from Alaska!!
🍻
That’s amazing 😉👍👍🥰
That is a beautiful coach!
É possivel dar todas as informaçoes em Portugues ? categoria para dirigir ? Qual o valor colocado no Brasil / Cidade de Curitiba

Nice for the price, Specially a 94!
Awesome we like it...
Who's got 1 in excellent shape to sell.? Looking for a older 40ft no slides up to 100k
How fun it would be to travel in luxury.
This coach been around.
Cool!
Love this!
Could use a few more mirrors.
HOLY GUACAMOLE 360K MILES. INJECTORS MIGHT GO OUT.
I would only pay $50,000 for that
Loving that Shirt sporting the Dean LOGO. Wheres the Merch?
Slides are nice BUT a coach like that without WOW, not my favorite colors, I could live with them.
