Great timing! I've been binge-watching "vintage" Prevost videos the last few days. Someday I'm going to be in the right place at the right time and one of these will follow me home. Figures that this is a 1992, I have my 30 year high school reunion coming up this summer.
@@AZExpert Indeed it has. Time plays dirty, seeming to accelerate the older you get - it's as if my 20 year reunion were just a few years ago from my perspective. All I know is that the next time you get as genuinely excited about a bus conversion as you were about the American Carriage one about a year ago, I'm buying it. I still feel like I missed the boat on that one...
You sound just like me, I have been looking almost every day for that proverbial Prevost needle in a hay stack, some day I hope to have that "this is the one" feeling. Myself, I am looking for a forever bus, as I am already 60, I need one to be a well taken of unit, that's not to say that I have any fantasies that I will never have to work on it, or throw money at it, but something solid with a documented history, not over the top, but not too modest either, something in between.
Hi Leon, maybe you can direct the right ave 1994 CC you put water into coach and goes to black water tank no one has been able to fix it finally just carry gallon botttles of water 17:46 17:46
I always appreciate the 'recommend'. Vehicles of any kind keep getting more and more expensive to maintain. Love your videos, learning a lot of maintenance things to keep an eye on.
Thanks for the tour! That era most likely had Heart Interface inverters originally. I worked for Heart back then. Heart supplied inverters to all the big coach manufacturers in Oregon: Beaver, Safari, Monaco, CC and Marathon.
Indeed! My good friend's Prevost Country Coach has dual Heart inverters. Country Coach was ahead of their time, having no compressed gas systems aboard, everything electric, and a large battery bay. I knew Heart inverters well, in the fire service, we used plenty of them on various ambulances, apparatus, and command buses. If you needed plenty of power, the Heart units were the way to go! The generator on these coaches is midship, in an isolated compartment, with the cooling air ducted below. With the generator in operation, it is quieter than a single rooftop AC, with the Cruise Air units all live!
I love this coach! About the only thing I would change is I would replace the couch with theater seating and install a combo W/D. Thanks James for another great video!
Nice to see! 30 yrs thats amazing. That coach was loved. I would just get the captain chairs recovered in a nice matching beige leather and different couch hide-away, n she be perfect for me. (Couch needs to match the captain chairs, lol). Love, love the exteriour! And no slide maintence! 🍻
Thanks for sharing this beauty. Almost as nice as my 1992 Winnebago Adventurer...lol Certainly the next owner is getting a classic. I hope they care and love it as much as the previous owners did.
I like this one, and my wife and I got together in 1992. I wish that they would have put booths in more of these than they did, I like a booth over the pull out table and chairs, and a booth can be made into another bed. Nice modest coach, great for a beginner or entry level customer.
Would you ever use Flex Seal on the roof? I have used it on my shed when i redid the roof and i havent had any issues for 5 years now...I was thinking it might work good on those seams if they needed to be redone
I dunno, I think wood is timeless. MUCH better than particleboard/MDF with the latest color scheme glued on. My personal favorite is 100% wood with highly polished lacquered bookmatched cherry. Lots of coaches with it and it's what I'm hoping to get in the not too distant future.
That could easily be mistaken for a 2010 or newer coach and just a couple of changes inside and I would definitely be on the road and proudly so ... Nice walk-thru ...
I really liked the woodwork but the mirrors, not so much. I would have loved to have bought one of those coaches but my wife didn't want something that old and I'm thinking that any chassis repairs would be very expensive. Thanks for the tour.

my biggest objection to these behemoths is cost and complexity of ownership rather than cost of purchase, i live off grid on the LATV BLM for the 6 months of winter and would need a gigantic solar set up rather than running a huge generator at all times and the battery capacity needed? forgetaboutit. a school bus or smaller trailer like my 22 ft seems the best option out here. but its nice to dream.
Wow I would not hesitate to snap this up if my budget was big enough. But I at least feel better about my 97 Beaver because my commode is enclosed on its own vs. being in full view with the Prevost
I looked at a view of those and I always hated the central bathroom with Country Coach. None of the ones I had found were that nice either. I wanted to be pre emission engine, but was trying to stay away from the old DDEC 2 that’s obsolete. After 1995 they went to Series 60 engine.
If anyone has to buy a brand new one go for the super clear-coat option and the clear-coat will have a lot less chances to peel off. It's quite an expensive option but you better pay more on3 time than have to pay 2,3 maybe even 4 times to have it redone. They can easily reach a million miles if taken care of
Thought i heard in the refrigerator video that frost is indicative of a bad door seal do you thunk that is something to worry about in this case? Or is it an excess amount of frost to look for(you may have said exactly that and I dont remember)
Well now, James, this is really interesting. How would you compare this 1992 Prevost Country Coach to your 2001 Beaver Patriot? My first thought is Prevost's stainless steel chassis and superstructure framing compared to Beaver's fiberglass box on a ladder-frame steel chassis. Aluminum roof vs a fiberglass one. These are just a couple of things I've picked up on watching the videos of your coach and this particular bus conversion. What about the interior workmanship - equal? Innovations for the time period - equal? These are thought provoking questions for you, appreciate some insight since I'm in the market for a diesel pusher.
Hi great video, really enjoyed it. May I ask how much money a rv would cost please? I understand if you’re not allowed to say and my apologies if so. Regards Luke uk

For this unit you would have to ask the dealer, I don't sell them. For any motorhome? There is a HUGE range of prices
that coach is in excellent shape I'd say show me another one that old in better shape
What about mechanic issues? Aren't they super expensive to do any repairs?
Less expensive than dealing with the EPA emissions nonsense, as long as fluids were changed regularly, I would not hesitate to buy this coach
All RV's are expensive to repair
Why does the furrian have two electrical feeds?
maybe heatpump supply power line.....
Do you provide inspection pictures as well to your clients, so they don’t have to go look for themselves?
yes, on new dealer clients I will put a portfolio of photos together
