But it only shows their weakness and insecurity. The drama makers want to picture a strong confident ML with power. Than never let those persons hit, torture, abuse etc a person but in this case grab a woman by her throat. Strong and confident persons don't need that. But except that. I realy love watching this one. Overall very good actress and actors. To bad that sometimes the subtitles don't make sense but while watching you still understand.
This drama is about Gu Beishang who was abused by by her family. She secretly established her own identity to survive financially. She does not need to rely on her husband for money. This is what women should be. She should have learned martial skills to protect herself. Financially, she is stable but weak in protection. She could have hired a bodyguard for protection, especially from her family.

Часто возникает ощущение, что перевод на русский идет не с китайского, а с английского. Уж очень ошибки характерны( хотя и в английских субтитрах порой наталкиваешься на грамматические ошибки😢).
