I have loved HYDE since L'Arc~en~Ciel when I was a teenager. I also loved Luna Sea then, and I got into the early days of Dir En Grey and Gackt even also with his project MALICE MIZER, though I admit that when I got into college I slowly listened less and less and got more into pop music (for a while, JPOP, then KPOP, then american music for a while). But, recently I played Code Vein, and it was what got me exposed to VAMPS, which is DEFINITELY...definitely the most fine tuned, well produced, and well planned project of HYDE to date. VAMPS is incredible, it is definitely breakthrough material, and I am so proud of my childhood jrock bands that have had INCREDIBLE VITALITY to last through DECADES. It is a testament to their devotion and skill and artistic visions. Their use of visuals from the likes of Rockin' Jelly Bean. It's all good stuff! Definitely the kinda thing I gravitate to whenever I'm in Tokyo.
You definitely should react to L'Arc~en~Ciel too! It's another Hyde's band :)

I would HIGHLY suggest you check out Hyde's song JESUS CHRIST 2009 USA. its some of his older stuff but still amazing as fuck.
