I’m just not even gonna say what that fruit painting reminded me of 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ the one standing melon with a slice out of it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️I can’t unsee it 😂😂😂
those holly leaf trays with the chips. or any ceramic piece with chips on the edges, an easy fix is to color in with matching felt pen and a cover coat of glossy nail polish if you need the shine, another option is glossy colored nail polish, just a dab to cover the chip. the felt pen colors are easier to find.
Paint the chips on the holly leaf dishes, tyey would still look good?...The crochet doll looked like something Andy out of toy story would of made😂😂 loved the basket & Christmas ornaments❤
I love when I can find vintage linens at the bins! I made my first Bins trip this year yesterday and had some great finds. Be glad you weren't there earlier... it was PACKED!
First, I would totally be into the T-shirt idea with bonjour y’all!! Second, I would’ve moved that clock to the other shelves because it’s pretty nice. And last Santa was very creepy with his huge eyes!!
Santa’s eyes were SO BIG because he saw the M&M people 😂😂😂😂 Julie, a HOT ITEM that resellers on Instagram have are just the “clock faces” . I wonder if they would be a good seller for you? Watch faces and Clock faces. Many people used them this year as ornaments on their Christmas trees… they were beautiful. Just some food for thought! I wonder if the little girl on the rocking horse came off a Nursery Room Lamp…maybe it was the final on the top of the light.
Hi Julie, love the doll she is beautiful she looks like an Amish doll they don’t put faces on them. Wish you had picked up more of the white linen pieces they were pretty 😍
I don't understand why you put things back if it has a slight chip off it, with your flip skills I would have thought you could dab it with a bit of paint or felt tip
I love that white gravy boat. I collect them. The doll looks Amish made to me. No faces or adornments. Ive seen the butter ornament at Cracker Barrel. Love seeing what you find!
You can remove the gold paint on the glass on the clock, I think with nail polish remover. Sherry from Canterbury Cottage has done that and then she does cute vignettes inside them.
Fun watching you dig through the bins! Your doll may be a pillowcase doll. They were popular in the 90's. I have one from a pillowcase my grandma embroidered.
My closest Goodwill is a 100-mile round trip. Life in the boonies - Big Island Hawaii. There's a new GW opening soon "only" 20 miles away. They don't have bins here😢
I would take the clock out of the wodden case and use it as a display case. Id risk buyi ng the rug gripper even if i used it under a napkin placed under a vignette
The Amish doll got me curious so I googled the story behind them being faceless with no makers mark. This is what I learned: “A sociological study from 2007 says that the dolls are left faceless because "all are alike in the eyes of God", and that the lack of facial features agrees with the Bible's commandment against graven images. Most Amish doll makers were anonymous”
The faceless dolls are made by the Amish. . They never put faces on the dolls because they believe it would refer to being vain.
So glad you saved the doll. She is still beautiful even without a face.
The doll without a face is a pillowcase doll!!
I love the vintage books you pick up. And Sandra Boynton is such a great children's author.
I would have gonna the clock ... You could add your own taste to it ... Replace the glass , Add some to the top ... It would have been beautiful !!!
I’m just not even gonna say what that fruit painting reminded me of 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ the one standing melon with a slice out of it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️I can’t unsee it 😂😂😂
I thought the SAME thing as soon as I saw it! What does that say about us!? 😂
Either can I pmsl 😂😂😂so glad it wasn't just me 😂😂
I had to go back and look, I can't unsee it now 😮
@@christineschiebel2890 🤣🤣🤣
@@sassysquirrelstash1612 at least she didn't use it for her thumb nail
Sherry, at Canterbury Cottage upcycles those clocks.. into adorable pieces
That faceless doll is a doll to lay on the pillow I used to make them. They don’t have faces on them

those holly leaf trays with the chips. or any ceramic piece with chips on the edges, an easy fix is to color in with matching felt pen and a cover coat of glossy nail polish if you need the shine, another option is glossy colored nail polish, just a dab to cover the chip. the felt pen colors are easier to find.

We made those pillow case dolls back in the 90's and they usually didn't have faces. Love the "bonjour y'all"!
You could use your IOD stamps on the linen napkins.

I have also seen the faceless dolls. Where I live people make them out of old vintage/antique pillowcases. They call them pillowcase dolls.
Had same sewing box in 70’s!
The doll is a pillowcase doll. They never have faces because they made from real pillowcases.
I had an awesome month in my booth. I need more vintage items!!!! Feels so good to see my crafts and vintage finds sell.
My grandmother had that big brown plastic sewing case too
I have one of those dolls. I just need to finish making it. They are called pillowcase dolls because they are made from pillowcases back in the day.
First, I would totally be into the T-shirt idea with bonjour y’all!! Second, I would’ve moved that clock to the other shelves because it’s pretty nice. And last Santa was very creepy with his huge eyes!!
Loved the pink blanket!

I don't understand why you put things back if it has a slight chip off it, with your flip skills I would have thought you could dab it with a bit of paint or felt tip

It's an Amish dolls without face 😊
Great video 😊. Love watching.
Julie you could have stuck two bottle brush trees in the clock for finnials. I'm surprised you didn't think of that!😂
You can remove the gold paint on the glass on the clock, I think with nail polish remover. Sherry from Canterbury Cottage has done that and then she does cute vignettes inside them.
Hi Julia that's Amish doll ❤
The stick of butter ornament…I sold several of those this past Christmas season.
Picked up the butter ornament at Target several years ago for my dad. Hes always using so much butter. LOL
Love the pink blanket❣️🐿
Love your thrifting videos!
Great haul Julie! I loved the basket. I'm glad you got the yellow napkins. They will be so pretty for Spring.
I love that butter ornament. You found a lot of good things. Love the basket and the gravy boat.
The butter ornament is from Paula Eden’s store/restaurant.
Fun watching you dig through the bins! Your doll may be a pillowcase doll. They were popular in the 90's. I have one from a pillowcase my grandma embroidered.
Amish dolls don't have faces. it's a humility thing. good find.
Love that basket, never seen one like that before. Thank you for the price at the end ❤
Could you apply an IOD stamp to the yellow napkins? Perhaps something with a spring and/or Easter theme. Hugs from Texas🤠

My Great Granny told me back when she was a girl , DOLLS DIDNT HAVE FACES🙃
That butter ornament was made that way. I ordered something else and got the stick of butter by mistake. 😂😂
Magna tiles! Oh my goodness!
I had one of those brown plastic sewing box's when I was a kid. My mom hoped I would take an interest in sewing, but nope! 😂
Linens would be like Penney’s. So light
Love that lidded basket and the pink blanket! Amish made dolls do not have faces, but that little one looks like a handkerchief doll?

Where I live, the closest Good Will bins are 80 miles away! 😢
I wished we'd get. GW BINS IN COOKEVILLE, TENNESSEE 😢😊
Same here 😔
My closest Goodwill is a 100-mile round trip. Life in the boonies - Big Island Hawaii. There's a new GW opening soon "only" 20 miles away. They don't have bins here😢
@donnathomas8612 same here. We just had a Goodwill open in our town, but no bins for miles!
My closest GW bins are about 110 miles one way😢
It’s called a Steeple Clock, it’s missing its finials.
I would take the clock out of the wodden case and use it as a display case. Id risk buyi ng the rug gripper even if i used it under a napkin placed under a vignette
Jeez! Don't know how you could handle the loud music! It's an assault 🤯.
The white pitcher/gravy boat is a happy find
I think that long doll is a broom handle cover🤔🤔🙋🏽♀
The white doll without a face is an Amish doll
Ahhhh………. go back !!” you missed a lovely gallon jar with a “1” on it, perfect for pantry storage or to use as a vase……. Nooooooooooooooo!
It's a pillowcase doll they don't have faces.
The doll could be an Amish doll. They don’t put faces on their dolls
Julie - the Amish make their dolls with no face. Painting a face on that would be incorrect. It is beautiful as it is.
If the clock has the key you should have gotten it.
Could be a Amish doll.
Julie, you don’t dig through all the bins! I have to put my hands to the bottom of each one in case I miss something!!!
The faceless doll is probably an Amish baby. They leave faces off their dolls.
Amish dolls do not have faces. It is supposed to be exactly as it is
That is an Amish doll. No graven images on their dolls.
Doll without a face could be Amish, especially if it has a long dress and bonnet like that one. I heard it means that we all look the same to God.
Might be an Amish doll
I really fine watching the bins cringy, it is not my thing. You work so hard and deserve to find good stuff.
The Amish do not put faces on their dolls
Our bins are not like yours. WI
the doll looks like an amish doll they don't have faces
