i;'ve been listening to alec since 2016 and i don't listen to the officials because i genuinely feel more attached to the demos. i think they sound more incredible with the original interpretations, espescially outrunning karma. i feel more emotion in the demos and the raw, authentic, untouched audio and runs he uses in the second verse just add so much to the song and i wish he kept that in the officials.

I feel like the DEMO is much better than the original ones , it feels like this had more emotion. The "lalala" part , the way he sang it is so taunting which what makes the song better as if he is describing the things we "regret" keep taunting us in the back of our mind and the memories kept resurfing , reminding our past wrong doing as if it was saying that was our "karma".
