    So proud of her she has worked for years and been overlooked for years and now she is getting her flowers! One of my favorite TV moms her and Jo-Marie Payton (Harriett from Family Matters). They were both dark, beautiful and no non-sense!

    The fact that she was never invited to the Emmy before omg 😢
    I remember she played the mom on "Instant Mom" with Tia Mowry and at the time I kept thinking her role was below her abilities. Thankfully Quinta and Abbott E were around the corner 💐

    Life is not always about you telling stories as if you are scripted. The drama is over the top. Humble yourself to be a human. Speak like a normal human not like you are trying to win an Emmy for telling a life story. On every show you go on, you remain in character. Live life! You do not need to prove yourself through theatrics.
