      What's ironic is that Koreans luv him still. What my point is that when the media was criticizing and witch-hunting him most of Koreans blamed him along the media and now they act like they didn't say nothing and act like they have been supporting him the whole time. I'm Korean so I rememeber it all clearly and I didn't turn ma back on him then. I hate shallow ppl and this behaviour still prevails and its gotta stop

      he asked open-ended questions, listened nicely, and respected him. I watched a djvlad interview and had to turn it off like 3 minutes in because he asked about his parents and he was like "so did they have like thick accents and stuff like that" and that sort of thing and I like physically cringed.

    What I love is that you can tell he's just a grown ass, mature ass dude now. Everything coming out of him about others is all positivity, and he gives big ups to everyone's success around him, doesn't have to tear others down to bring himself up. He doesn't point fingers at Korea and blame them for what happened with the band; he humbles himself and expresses his disappointment in himself from what had happened. He's open-minded to and respectful of the cultural differences between the East and West and doesn't portray Eastern customs in a negative light just to suit his own narrative or just because it's the "easy" route to go on a Western podcast. And he's all about the art and the business now and not about the vanity of his physique. This guy's truly come a long, long way, and his mentality has really developed the right way. Mad respect.

    • @mrperniciouswithag
      @mrperniciouswithag 5 років тому +9

      Also shout out to No Jumper for being culturally sensitive and aware, asking the Jay the right questions about identity and being dual-heritage. Dude's white but seems like he's got a great understanding of Eastern values and customs. He also words his questions very carefully so that it doesn't come across as either some judgy white guy or an assuming-he-knows-everything-about-it white guy. Has clearly done his research. Great interviewer.

    I’ve only just started getting into Jay Parks music although I had heard about him a few years ago and BOY was i MISSING OUT by sleeping on him, I’m really in love with his music now, and my fav song has got to be upside down, V or all I wanna do. He also seems like a really genuine guy as well which is what really like about him plus it made it easier to slip and fall into the fandom😆

      thats not how it works. only in america will jay z get a cut. roc nations job is to push jay park into the american scene then they will be able to make a cut. they wont be making a cut if he releases songs in korea because they cant charge you for literally doing nothing. they have nothing to offer in terms korea.
      but it looks like jay park is with roc nation only by name because roc is not really pushing him or maybe they are by getting him in contact with hot producers and rappers.
