Makes me feel better when you fall into the same traps I did 😅 shows there are so many different ingenious ways to complete the missions etc. For example, I used the arrows to shoot the guard with the bear crossbow!

@@josephdavison4189 German sallets have a distinct swept back look to protect the users neck. This particular one has a slitted visor, the original sallets from the mid 1400s were designed without a visor, in much the same way as a bascinet. The sallet was used mostly in the mid 1500s, with some more expensive versions having an articulated aventail to protect your neck. in the 16 to 1700s Germany implemented the Morrion helmets, a style which you may recognise from depictions of Spanish conquistadors. Later they switched to the pickelhaube, a helmet with a spike, originally this spike was used to attach the plume of a calvary soldier, but during ww1 they were used simply to create an aggressive impression on their enemies. the spike created an issue fir the German soldier though because the spike stuck out so far the allied forces could spot their positions in the trenches. In ww2 Germany switched to the stahlhelm with had the option of bolting on extra armoured plates for protection, because the stahlhelm was only able to stop shrapnel, and not the 30-06 rounds that were fired from many of the allied weapons, including the M1 garand. This round has over 4000j of energy when fired, which is well enough to punch through trees, concrete, nazis, and some buildings. because it was a carbine, the M1 could be fired much faster than many rifles of its time. a problem arose however, when it came time to reload. When out of ammo, the M1 ejects its stripper clip with a long and famous pinging noise. Reportedly, this let your enemy's know when you were reloading, but this factoid is debated, because hearing such a sound at a distance in an active war zone is unlikely to say the least. After the clip was ejected from the gun you would need to reload it. the way that soldiers were taught to reload their M1s was to position the clip, and then firmly push downwards on it with your thumb, as if you were giving the enemy a thumbs down. Once the clip had been loaded, the bolt immediately slammed home, often on the poor soldiers thumb. If this happened often, it could damage the blood vessels in said thumb. The method for reloading was eventually changed, but not before it left many a soldier swearing and shaking their fists at the gun. the new method was to place your right hand in front of the bolt, as you pushed down with your thumb. this meant the you had time to remove your digits from the danger zone before moving your hand and allowing the bolt to close. Surprisingly, the stahlhelm was used until to 1990s by guards, until it was phased out and modern kevlar helmets were introduced. I'm sorry for the rant truly I need some sleep hope I answered your question though. TLDR: it has a really distinct shape, and they were used mostly in the 1500s that's how they know the century

Probably because they know they're dealing with an alcoholic who can't resist drinking everything in sight.
I really hope that's cannon! 😹

For the speedrun time of 2 minutes 10 seconds, you can use the bottle of poison gas to scare off the guard and save time.
Shooting him with the bear is faster I believe
