1:20 beneficial bacteria would be formed in filters too. And we don't need to buy branded accesories like soil. Garden soil is enough ( using it for months and my plants are doing fine and healthy ) also he said that plants would only grow in "RGB" lighting. Which is not true. Any light with 6500k colour spectrum is enough and we need to calculate the lumens according to the aquarium size. I use two 1400 lumens led bulb ( 6500k ) and it works fine. RGB is just multicolored led 😂
Hi, what kind of garden soil do you use?
@@vishnunandan5545 Normal garden soil found in our backyard mixed with some red soil. Added a 1 inch thick layer of it in the bottom of the tank and capped it with sand ( 2 inch thick)

@@vishnunandan5545 Yes! The size of the gravel should be small. My first tank was capped with gravel and it was a failure 🥲 I saw some black gravel chips for cheap rate ( 35/kg ) and bought alot. They were like small thin, flat rocks and as time passed, fish waste started to fill in between them easily and it was hard to vacuum clean it. And ammonia spike started to occur + hair algae explosion. I later found that the round fine gravel is wayy better for capping. The issue with sand is that it can easily get sucked up when you vacuum the tank. Gravel is a nice choice and planting is also easier in gravel 😉
