THIS is my favorite South Episode of all time. It triggers very fond memories of me, sitting around the TV at 10am, watching silly sports movies for teens, like Johnny Tsunami or Alley Cats Strike. All the beats are here; The rival, the training arc, the stolen love interest, the wallflower second love interest and the absurd stakes tied to a sports game for 12 year olds.

What’s great about your SP reactions is that I love that you also include all the references and homages to other media that the episode makes fun of like I didn’t know about the references to Better Off Dead (I haven’t watched it yet but I heard of it and I now want to see it) and this is one of my fav South Park episodes. I love it when the episodes sometimes take the absurd stroylines from older movies, and just over exaggerates them completely. it's just so stupidly hilarious. Also please check out the episode called Spontaneous Combustion, from season 3 episode 2. It's got Randy being funny again.

In case you weren't already aware, do NOT purchase a time share! Those time share contracts are notoriously difficult to get out of once you sign them and many people have actually been driven to bankruptcy by these time share companies. In fact, there are whole law firms who specialize in helping people sue their time share companies because so many people have been scammed by them.
My wife and I did a timeshare presentation to get free tickets to a show in Vegas. It was worth the 60ish minutes because we also got a lunch. You just have to keep saying no over and over and eventually they give up.
Gotta admit I actually wanted to see how Stan would have solved the Heather vs. dorky-but-hot-chick vs. it's-a-felony-for-Stan's-to-have-amorous-encounters-with-either conundrum.
I really missed out on a lot of these jokes because I had no idea what they were referencing but Dash always knows all of their references. It makes watching these episodes with him so much better
Dash I'm HIV positive that you'll like the whole 6th season, it has some great jems! Personally I'd recommend "The New Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer" S6
This is by far the biggest nod to 80s movies in general in South Park, but, there's also the season 1 Damien which sends up The Omen, Trapper Keeper 2000 which has some very obvious Akira and Terminator references, Cripple Fight which has a fight scene that is a long homage to They Live, Major Boobage which heavily references Heavy Metal, and quite a few others
This season is so good, the Russell Crowe Show is episode 5 and it's wall to wall funny And I won't even call you "Darsh Reacts" if you react to it next 😅
Asspen is my favourite south park episode. I remember when I was younger I used to watch it at least once a week, always went back to it for a good laugh.
