    Hey,
    My name is Isabel, and I am a 18 year old paraglider.
    I am a fan of New Zealand since I was a kid, and actually would be there for half a year if it wasn't for Corona. I plan to go in 2022 instead and I have two questions - can I also paraglide in the time from March to September, like is the weather good enough/ are there thermals or is this a bad time because it's winter and it rains all the time? I would probably go to Auckland/Wellington, a few weeks Queenstown.
    And second - I just did my license this year in August, and plan to fly much, but is it easy to fly in NZ and/or should you be able to do soaring very good?
    Thank you very much!😊
    Isabel

      Hello. I don't really know about weather, but March should be ok to fly there. Like everywhere, you have places that are more demanding than other, so you have to be a bit experienced to fly on unknown spot. Then be sure you get your licence to the NZ organization, because it's a different licence than everywhere else. Contact them they will for sure give you a lots of advices. Anyway all the locals are pretty mellow so they will help you in anycase. Good luck!

      Jeremy Lacoste
      Merci pour les retours. La majeure partie des images sont filmées par Perrine, à main levée, avec une petite caméra hybride (de type sony rx100ii), il y a aussi évidement des image à la gopro sur le casque. Toutes les images sont stabilisées en postproduction.

      Dan Benn It's a "Petzl Meteor 4". It's made for climbing and mountaineering (not really for paragliding :-) But it's great for hike'n'fly and other expeditions. Best

    Nice video :) How do you do to face the bloopers in the thermals? Do you fly just in the morning?

    • @GuillaumeBroust
      @GuillaumeBroust  6 років тому

      ? I don't get your question

    • @alejandrov8612
      @alejandrov8612 6 років тому

      I explain: the wing can suffer a blooper, so how did you avoid the dangerous situations that may occured during your flights like bloopers? Did you suffer a lot of bloopers?

    • @GuillaumeBroust
      @GuillaumeBroust  6 років тому

      If I got what you mean, you're talking about collapses? I would say that you have to get use to it to fly in thermal (or strong conditions), it takes time, let say years of experience, to fly safely in thermal turbulences. But most of the pilots can handle it, and the wing are safer and safer nowadays. But it's like in every outdoor or extrem sports: there is a room for mistakes. Best

    • @alejandrov8612
      @alejandrov8612 6 років тому

      So every time you fly in thermals do you have collapses? I practice hang gliding and I'm thinking about paragliding because I want to travel around my country

    • @GuillaumeBroust
      @GuillaumeBroust  6 років тому

      no, when you are quite experienced, you never have collapses :-)
