Pretty smart, and you can see that she plays outside of the box when it comes to rules. Unfortunately, Asgardian magic is more strict than that.
Okay, everyone in the comments doesn’t understand how Mjolnir works so here it is: The hammer ISNT infinitely heavy. The hammer has the POTENTIAL to become infinitely heavy. But it does so only when it detects someone “unworthy” trying to lift it. This is the reason why it can stand on a table or rise on an elevator. It knows no one is attempting to lift it so it is a standard weight of 25lbs. IF hulk tried to lift it w a force of 10,000 pounds, the hammer would exert an opposite force of 10,000 pounds downward to CANCEL him out. It changes it’s weight to neutralize anyone it deems unworthy
@@bradentheman1373 the hammer allows you to lift it only if it deems you worthy. Worthiness is measured by the person who cast the spell on the hammer (that person being Odin). So to him “worthiness” would be defined by his own personal attributes, which were bravery in the face of adversity, courage to stand up against injustice, will to fight when all seems lost, and readiness to die defending a just cause. There’s other factors that the hammer measures, because it looks I to your heart and I think your mind in order to know if your motives are pure or if there is moral corruption or stuff of that matter. It is an assessment of who you are as a person, done in an instant the second you come in contact w it. More so than simply “being the good guys” and “fighting for what is right”, it judges if you have matured completely and defeated the demons you have within you which are holding you back from your full potential…. From all that you can be in order to prove that you are “worthy”.
I don't know where I read it, but wasn't there one time that hulk got more angry faster than the hammer could get heavy, resulting In him lifting it up for a very short amount of time?
Whenever someone tries to lift the hammer, they either can lift it or cant, no one can just almost pick it up like cap did, because in age of ultron, roggers "almost" picked up the hammer, which means he could, realized that, but didnt want to completely deflate thors ego
@@CorelUser The game goes for its own continuity, of course its not exactly the same as the movies. I love how they kept the detail that Captain America is someone else who can lift it, you can just see it get lifted up from the ground and no one else was able to achieve it.
@@Log-On-Line One of the things to be seen as worthy is the willingness to kill of the need arises, and Peter will never kill anyone, ever...so he can't be worthy, as much as he worthy in other aspects
I appreciate that Thor completely ignores which hand he's supposed to use for the scanner, and that the computer recognizes him anyway, as though whomever programmed it knew he would fail that simple task. Edit: forgot words.
I always viewed Steve slightly moving the hammer as him being worthy, but not completely believing in himself as being worthy. Like not making a jump due to a mental block rather than a physical one.
Always thought he realized he could, and didn’t try because he didn’t want to disrespect Thor. Hence why it wiggles almost like a hammer would if you just touched it.
He was actually able to move it that very first time in Age of Ultron when he tried, but once he realized he could, he stopped and pretended he couldn't lift it because he knew how much it meant to Thor thinking that Mjolnir belonged to him alone. And the fact that Steve would do that is part of why Mjolnir knows Steve is worthy. ;)
@@Zaxares this theory always seems false to me because if true why would he even attempt to pick it up in the first place? If it’s out of “respect” for Thor then why would he even try in the first place?
@@anubis8586 Likely because Steve didn't expect he COULD lift it. Like I said, he's humble and not a glory-seeker by nature (which are further factors in what makes him worthy); he likely only participated in the lifting because that's what soldiers do for camaraderie. You take part in team building exercises like this. Steve likely still thinks of himself as "just a kid from Brooklyn". That it's the serum that makes him strong, and so he's not really qualified to wield Mjolnir. In a way, I guess Steve never really internalized the lesson that those who deliberately seek out power are very often the ones least qualified to wield it.

I like to think that whenever someone unworthy tries to move it, it just applies an equal amount of force in the opposite direction. Makes more sense to me than for it to just be super heavy.

I believe what makes them unworthy of lifting the hammer is that they aren't willing to kill an enemy when the need arises. For example, Spiderman has all the other attributes to lift it but ultimately what makes him unworthy is his moral code against killing. He must understand that not all villains can be saved and for the safety of the innocent he must end the life of an irredeemable villain. A lot of Marvel characters have wielded the hammer in dire circumstances. I’m this context, they are trying to lift it as an ego thing, making them unworthy.
While the enchantment's definition of "worthiness" has for decades always been nebulous, it's generally accepted Peter is inherently unworthy. This is because he's a pile of emotional baggage and self-doubt and he cannot let go of those things, because they define who and what he is, such as Uncle Ben & Gwen Stacey's respective tragedies that he faults and never forgives himself for. Mjolnir is fairly consistent in valuing virtue, valor, and self-sacrifice, but also conviction: Thor has had many bouts of unworthiness and the most common thread between them is them being moments where his confidence in his values is shaken.
Wait a minute, I figured out why the only worthy people are Steve (partially) and Thor! It's because Asguardians live so long! Odin slapped a "Not suitable for children under the age of 112" sticker on it. So as far as the hammer is concerned it's just trying to keep a gaggle of infants from picking it up. The hammer ISNT infinitely heavy.
Sorry but I don’t know anything about marvel
And I’ve never watched any movies but how do you gain it’s trust

@@CorelUser The game goes for its own continuity, of course its not exactly the same as the movies.
Maybe the game creators just didn't really think about it
He was actually able to move it that very first time in Age of Ultron when he tried, but once he realized he could, he stopped and pretended he couldn't lift it because he knew how much it meant to Thor thinking that Mjolnir belonged to him alone.
As someone who did not play this game, I like that Kamala says “still not worthy,” as in she uses this moment to push herself to be a better person, whereas the rest of them mostly are like “ah man, guess I can’t lift the cool hammer.” That’s honestly a really nice and pretty fun character moment.
