Hello everyone! Hope you enjoyed my extended theme of Natlan! I’ve seen comments from previous videos requesting for a Natlan theme and honestly I wanted to do the theme from a long time ago but I haven’t had the inspiration to make a semi latin inspired theme and not to mention this my first time doing a latin inspired theme as well. But at the end of the day I was quite happy with how it turned out and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do! Let’s jump straight to the composition. I started off with a latin inspired melody that still captures the Natlan theme. I think it’s really fitting for an intro since I didn’t want to immediately jump to the official motif as I wanted sort of like a progress before it. At 0:37 when the rhythm changed its pace to a more bombastic feel played by the lower strings and the percussion, you can hear the Natlan theme slowly getting introduced as the composition progresses. Then at 0:57, this is the part where I 100% introduced the official Natlan theme, played by the nylon guitars to add that latin feeling LOL. When I was done composing this part I thought to myself, “surely I must add something more bombastic”. So I did! At 1:06 was the part where I added brass and strings that amplified and brought a lot of energy towards the Natlan motif. Moving on to the next part. I’m sure mostly all of you who listens to my work know that I like to add a secondary motif as like a continuation of the official one. So at 1:26 I added a secondary motif continuing the official one. (Hope you enjoyed my self composed motif! hahah). Now moving on to the next part, I learnt a lot from you all by reading the comments specifically from my region fan-made themes. One of the many things I learnt was the lack of the ‘Photon of Fluctuation’ motif in my fan-made region themes which I think was really crucial as Hoyo likes to implement that motif regions to regions. SO! There you go! 1:46 had the Photon motif and honestly it sounded better including that motif since I think it boosts the relevance towards an official theme even though it’s fan-made. So thank you for the suggestions and feedbacks in my previous videos everyone! I learnt a lot from you! The part after the Photon motif was basically approaching the end of the theme as I repeat once again the guitars in 0:37 but with the rhythm of 1:26. Then once again I included the official Natlan motif before the theme ends with a strum of the guitar to amplify that latin feeling LMAO. Overall that’s my thought process behind this theme! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do and personally I learnt a lot from your feedbacks which I really appreciate. Feedbacks are always welcome because with those I can improve on my skills and thought process and I would like to know your thought process as well. I also feel like I improve quite significantly in terms of the mix. It felt more balance compared to my older themes which I’m really happy of. The lack of information we have about Natlan is, quite frankly, disturbing. But this is an amazing extension of its travail theme and I love it so much!

@@manoharalisa5829 not necessarily, maybe some of it yes but the obvious Hispanic/Latin inspiration from the music suggests that it superseded its supposed inspiration which was the Americas, so we can say the setting was a later American colonial era(17th century)
The guitar motif suits in Natlan's Story Quest Domain. While at 0:57 to 1:06 is for Tavern in Natlan - it has the same motif as the Taverns in Mondstadt and Sumeru.

Here after Natlan leaked OSTs and none of them have travail leitmotif yet. Maybe it's hard to make one since Natlan is the most instrumental diverse region we ever had in the game. But if they don't release as main theme or something probably this is the most close thing we will get that has travail leitmotif.
natlan is arguably the most intriguing region to me, we don’t have much info regarding it but what we do have is the pyro gemstone (agnidus agate) which stands out because it’s the only gem to have a word hidden, and that word is likely the name of a very important character
Now that i wonder, capitano will have a hard time fighting the god of war but lets not forget hes a strong fatui altough fighting a god of war is pretty umm... Interesting and hard i guess. Anywayyyyy the Ost was amazing! I was hearing it repeaditly! Love it.

Everyone is thinking Natlan is based on Aztec and Maya, but since the day I heard from the travail theme music inspired by flamenco music, I definitely knew that Natlan is gonna be Spanish or colonial Spain in South America, and a few days ago some leaks dropped regarding the design of Pyro archon proved me I'm probably right. Additionally, from the very beginning I've seen the travail video, I have been thinking of a civil war or conflict between tribes, and Neuvillette gave us some hints about it. So I assume that the orihginal dwellers of Natlan are the vishaps and dragons who had various mutations among years, some of them had the look of complete human, some of them still resemble vishap/dragon body, and probably people with white hair like Iansan and Bennett inherit dragon ancestry. Also we can see people living in Natlan who are not dragon descendants came to Natlan many years ago and tried to colonise the land, they may be the ones with typical red hairs, so Muratans as we know.
Hayn, thank you for always downloading my music hahah I appreciate it! 160 and 320 almost have no differences that are significant, 320 is better in terms of the sound quality (less distortion and elements like hi hats will sound more clear compared to 160). But honestly if you are saving up on storage, 160 does the job! It does a pretty good job on maintaining the overall quality and dynamic of the song. But if you want to have a clearer sound quality (especially in the higher frequency elements like hi hat cymbals etc.), go for the 320! Also, hope you enjoyed listening to it!

The Archon of Pyro, who uphold the ideal of war, shall soon meet the Traveler. Grand Master Varka and The First Harbinger Capitano, their paths collided here. Yet, unlike Varka, Capitano has thrown his hat to the endless rings of war.
How do you even make fan st's this good? Like I really wonder, did you take any courses and if you did, which? I would like to produce music like you tbh, I can only make some dumb stuff at this moment :P
Thank you for your kind words! Personally I didn't take any course related to music composition. I took audio engineering during uni so that taught me a lot and certainly had an impact on how I treat the sounds of each instruments. As for composition, I took piano lessons a long time ago so that also played a role hahah. But honestly when it comes to orchestration, I learnt a lot from youtube. A lot of composers out there put out amazing tutorials and guides on orchestrating, so if you want to get into orchestrating I recommend to check them out! Hope this helps!
This sounds so Mexican and Spanish like, I hope kanria(wrong spelling ik) is based on Africa or something so we get more black characters cause kaeya is black(ik dainsleif and the jester are white ik ik)
Since there's no pyro mc in 5.0 hoping when mc gets pyro element in cutscene like harmony TB in penacony the travail ost plays. Since the travail ost never played in natlan symphony concert nor in any of it's teaser

Everyone is thinking Natlan is based on Aztec and Maya, but since the day I heard from the travail theme music inspired by flamenco music, I definitely knew that Natlan is gonna be Spanish or colonial Spain in South America, and a few days ago some leaks dropped regarding the design of Pyro archon proved me I'm probably right. Additionally, from the very beginning I've seen the travail video, I have been thinking of a civil war or conflict between tribes, and Neuvillette gave us some hints about it. So I assume that the orihginal dwellers of Natlan are the vishaps and dragons who had various mutations among years, some of them had the look of complete human, some of them still resemble vishap/dragon body, and probably people with white hair like Iansan and Bennett inherit dragon ancestry. Also we can see people living in Natlan who are not dragon descendants came to Natlan many years ago and tried to colonise the land, they may be the ones with typical red hairs, so Muratans as we know.

Hayn, thank you for always downloading my music hahah I appreciate it! 160 and 320 almost have no differences that are significant, 320 is better in terms of the sound quality (less distortion and elements like hi hats will sound more clear compared to 160). But honestly if you are saving up on storage, 160 does the job! It does a pretty good job on maintaining the overall quality and dynamic of the song. But if you want to have a clearer sound quality (especially in the higher frequency elements like hi hat cymbals etc.), go for the 320! Also, hope you enjoyed listening to it!

Thank you for your kind words! Personally I didn't take any course related to music composition. I took audio engineering during uni so that taught me a lot and certainly had an impact on how I treat the sounds of each instruments. As for composition, I took piano lessons a long time ago so that also played a role hahah. But honestly when it comes to orchestration, I learnt a lot from youtube. A lot of composers out there put out amazing tutorials and guides on orchestrating, so if you want to get into orchestrating I recommend to check them out! Hope this helps!
