By that I mean only creatures found on non story maps(ex Fjordur, Ragnarok, Lost Island, etc) since story map creatures could really be their own video given how many there are.

Another cool video yet again raas! I think people are genuinely underestimating dimorphs as someone else mentioned in the comments. These little dudes are insanely powerful in a pack of around 10 or more. There's was a tribe on official crystal Isles server when it first launched who used to use them to take down alpha rexes. Like a cloud of deadly teeth 😂 pretty decent to have four or five of them follow you on cave runs too
Lol, those things are really devastating in flocks..., And they break armor quite easily in fact But I guess they didn't vote them cause they don't have alpha buff and their low HP makes them more or less maneageable using a big mount or one able to deal with them at the same time somehow
@@thisisnami6054 They level damage and health real easy so that’s pretty good. Mine tend to be like 4000 Hp also they target the rider first so that’s neat
Megalodon deserves a top spot on this list. Honestly, top 3 at least. I understand why they're not, they're extremely overlooked and not very popular to tame because underwater exploration is a pretty neglected part of the game and I didn't take them very seriously myself for a long time, but when I finally did try taming up a full pack of them the results were astonishing. They get by far the biggest pack buff of any creature with the bonus stacking up to +8, they have a bleed, and the fact that they're an underwater creature means that swarm tactics are even more effective because of the full 360 degrees of motion allowing your whole pack to be attacking the same target at once. They absolutely shred alpha tusos and mosas as well as enemy tames in PvP. I think if the oceanic parts of the game were a more significant element they would be rated among one of the most dangerous tames in the game.
think a vote for non foreign packs would narrow it down to a universal dino pack, think it be allos, raptor and wolfs since they are everywhere on the story maps for the most part.
Cnidaria have no pack or even mate boost. They just spawn in numbers. It's about the same as calling Araneo pack creatures because you find them in caves in large amounts. Megalodon ending up not on the list instead of Hyaenodon is even odder

how is the dinopithecus so low ? the dinopithecus is so much stronger than raptors and even ravagers. also the yuty is not a pack creature in my opinion. yes he can call carno buddies. but its not a pack of yutys. so I don't see why it got an honourable mention
Yutyranus gets a pack boost?? I used to use yutys instead of rexes for boss fights fue to beibg easeir to just mass breed one group of yuties rather than breed yuties and rexes for a boss

A small note, but tamed Ravagers lose their gnash attack. That's only a feature of wild ones, sadly.
i know and its annoying, wish it kept that if we had a pack of 5.
Meanwhile wild megalodons don't have a bleed attack while tamed ones do. Ark creature abilities are so weird.
