Nice video. I would like to see more cooking from you. I take a variety of different preparations on my backpacking trips. Burgers to potatoes and beyond. I like simple meals. Pancakes and pre-cooked bacon heated up. Beef stew pre-prepared and put into vacuum bags and sealed works well and is very satisfying. I wrap the vegetables on their own and also the beef or lamb separately. Contents of the bags are parboiled or seared and seasoned before going in the vacuum bags. I bring stock and water and maybe more seasonings. If I'm feeling really productive, I might make some Bannock to dip into the gravy. Or I might just bring a freeze dried or dehydrated meal depending on the hike in to get to a camp.
Supermarket ready meals are a thousand times better than the dehydrated specialist meals which are now ridiculously expensive. I use rice sachets and M&S curries, delicious.
Just seen your vid, I'm from Bedford, been living abroad 25 years. Used to do loads of camping with Army cadets (Kempston) Great to see someone camping around Bedfordshire 🏕 I'll subscribe👍
That was a great little spot and that drizzling rain all night would have been brilliant on the tarp. Shame about the middle of the night break in you tarp pole but good to see the smile in the morning, Great video, nicely done and good luck with your adventures and your channel, I know how much effort you must be putting in, subscribed ✌🏻
