could not disagree more on the weird noise cancellation on AirPods Max, you might prefer Sony sound better and I get it, but when it comes to noise cancellation APM is unmatchable, I never had any leak, not even on NYC subway lol
@@rafakumagai I tried both these headphones side by side under the same conditions and the Sony’s had better ANC compared to the airpods max. Also the Sony’s were better at blocking out high pitched sounds as well compared to the airpods. ANC is one of the reasons i decided to go for the airpods coz i heard they were really good but i was sorely disappointed. It just doesnt make sense if outside sounds start coming through when i move my head left or right. I thought that my airpods might be defective but its not the case as several other people are also having similar issues with the ANC. sound quality is subjective. He complains about the lack of base on airpods, I complain about overemphasized base on sony. To me the airpods are the best sounding because I like neutral headphones that arent exhausting to my ears after half an hour of listeing to music
@@botten4187 My gripe is not about the lack of bass. I bought these headphones to replace my xm4’s which i use to watch movies. Movies sound great with the xm4 while the airpods max sound as though they lack energy. I would’ve been ok with that however its the noise cancellation thats equally important to me as well. Noise cancellation on the airpods is erratic, they let in outside sound depending on the angle or movement of your head. No such issues with the xm4. High frequency sounds are also better blocked out by the xm4 than the airpods max. After spending the big bucks i expect more from the airpods in terms of sound quality/noise cancellation than what i have experienced from my $250 sony xm4.
@@botten4187 When it comes to music i use Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro wired headphones. I compared the airpods max with these and the sound profile is very much similar apart from a little more emphasis on bass with the airpods whereas the beyerdynamics have a little more emphasis on the treble. But then the Beyerdynamics are a whole lot cheaper than the airpods max. So basically the airpods max sound quality is similar to a pair of Beyerdynamic wired headphones that cost less than $200.
@@botten4187 Air pods are good for calling because of the good quality mic, but the bass on sony is more separated from the middle’s and deeper than that flat sound from apple.

Nope XM5s have better ANC 100% APM Have Better Transparency mode
Just bought Air Pods 2 Pro having wf-1000xm5 EarPods so it's the same garbage. Sony are better in sound quality, airpods are garbage.

Sony will break on swivel and sony wont cover.
