As a kayaker who does on-the-water safety for swim events, I can absolutely say that these things are a life saver. Waking up at 5 in the morning to get ready for briefing and slipping into one of these is bliss.

How isnthe wool? Does it dry your skin like cotton terry cloth or leave your skin tacky /moist like fleece. I'm looking for a swimming/surfing changing parka.
My daughter sophielouisefit does open water and loves hers and as a student has even been known to wear it to uni!!!

Regarding it’s bulk, if you put it in a compression sack it compacts down very small. It easily fits in a small rucksack, if rain is forecast on the VLM2020 I’m going put in my kit bag. But don’t buy the dryrobe compression bag, go to sports direct.

I love the look of this, but not the price. Looks like there are some cheaper alternatives,but guess they wont be as warm etc.
Yeah there are defo some alternatives out there but I know someone who had one of them and it fell apart 🤦♂️
