    One of the most comfortable packs I've ever used on the bike or off. Most backpacks are very difficult to put on when you are wearing your jacket which snags the arm straps, but not with the Kriega R20. Highly recommended.

      I have really been looking at it, but for the price, im concerned about the protection it would serve for my laptop, which goes with me EVERYWHERE.

    Great review. Thanks for telling me 27 times that 20 litres is five more litres than 15 litres, and nothing about the internal pockets.

    Kriega has several sizes of waterproof liners that fit snugly inside their backpacks.

      Marcus Östlin Ay bro, you're welcome. After working in corporate marketing and when watching these retail moto vids, I look at these vids as how effectively they promote the product. This product, most likely doesn't have a huge relative mark up, BUT I'm sure the accessories to this product does. Moreover, I think Revzilla should have at least links to a product's accessories. MEANING: I think they should have included in the video: the optional waterproof liner, the Kube and the US5/10.

    Does a 15.6 inch laptop and a file folder with metal rings fit inside this backpack? I've watched a lot of video reviews on this backpack but none mentions the file folder. Thanks in advance.

      You could fit a 1-1.5 inch 3-ring binder along with a laptop. -DrewZilla

      do you still want to know? i can take a picture of mine.
      Both my 17.3" and 15.6" laptops fit, but the 17.3" is a tight fit with the edges forcing against the backpack (not too much tho).. Which means you'll be more than fine with a 15.6

    R15 vs R20 for Commuting? I'm use to a small backpack but its like $10 more for 5L more. Could do with a comparison and full open up of each bag.

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 років тому +1

      I'd go with the R20. You can always tighten up the side straps when carrying less. -DrewZilla

      Yer i came to that conclusion too, I've got a small sports backpack now and was thinking if I'm going to upgrade why am i not upgrading in size, plus its only a little bit more in price and yes i can tighten it. Thanks for reassuring my thoughts. Always come here or your site to check out gear.

    Would it comfortably fit standard size folders for transporting documents?

    • @RevZilla

      As long as the folders are strong enough to resist bending, then yes they should fit comfortably. -DrewZilla

    What size Liner would you recommend for the R20? I know you guys say a Medium for the R15.
    My only gripe right now is I have a smaller backpack I commute with. It's about 7 years old and it's made by Alpinestars. I think it's a 15L because it is a tad smaller than say a regular Jansport backpack I use for college crap.
    My Gripe... My Alpinestars backpack is fully waterproof and it was maybe $150. I've never had any issues even in pooring rain. My big issue now is that the red is fading to pink and all my reflective material has come off.
    Say for commuting or bringing a few things to my girlfriends for a night over would you go with an R15 or R20. I will bring clothes, a few electronics (no laptop) and say some magazines or books. With a spare visor and a tad more my Alpinestars does the job even when it's packed tight. I also use it even if I'm riding spiritedly. So I do not want something that's too bulky and I'm 5'8" 147 lbs.
    Sorry for the drawn out explanation I'm just very picky with certain things.

      Going to opt for the R20 for $20 extra bones. Thank you for the fast liner reply I saw it right away just was busy debating which one I actually needed. My current Astars pack is 15L and although almost perfect... (because it was only $130 and is fully waterproof out of the gate) when you do fully pack it. It tends to bulge out by the back area and it not comfortable pushing into your back!
      So R20 with Liner should keep me pretty stocked when I'm on my travels on The Dragon in 6 Days. Lets test that Revzilla shipping speed!

    What would be a better size, the r20 or 25. I need a backpack for weekend trips where I'm not really carrying much, just a clear visor & spare set of clothes?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 років тому +2

      You'd probably be ok with the R20, though if you're going to carry shoes, you'd be better off with the R25. -DrewZilla

    I have a hump on the back of my jacket (Alpinestars Atem). Would you recommend this backpack or look into another one?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 років тому +3

      That's a matter of preference. This backpack does have a tendency to sit "high and tight", so it may not be comfortable with a hump. If you really dig it though, feel free to order one and try it on with your jacket. We can set up an easy return for you if it is simply not comfortable. -TeamZilla Chris
