I worked with a little boy who was Autistic and he was learning Sign Language. He was nonverbal and still is, except he uses Sign Language. I was a professional Sign Language Interpreter for years and so I worked with him on it. Also, I think it's great that you sing to her. Music is therapy!

Yes she is, can't u tell? I couldn't figure out why her face was shaped like that at first and then I couldn't figure out why she act as she do!! But not once did I judge arveya!! I went through more videos because I knew this great mom would inform us. She's working well with her.
My 3 yr old son is non verbal as well I tried the little toddler bed and he jumped on like it was a toy! Lol😂 had to end up just getting him a full size bed and like magic😂. Also your floor looks comfy with that plush carpet! She feels comfortable. Just get a mattress and put it on the floor she will love it. Oh yeah does she touch the carpet or like soft things when she goes to sleep? If so try a weighted soft comfy blanket! It's worth a try
I made the mistake of closing my eyes for a few seconds, just to listen, and your singing relaxed me so much that I almost fell asleep, myself! I'm curious, though, since Byron sleeps on a mattress on the floor (due to his brittle bone disease, of course), and everyone else sleeps in a bed, could this be confusing Arvaeyah? But, on the other hand, whatever way works the best to get her to sleep in her bed is the best way to go! Hopefully, she slept through the night in her big girl bed! You did a great job of getting her to sleep! Would it help if you made a recording of your singing and played it over and over for Arvaeyah to hear your voice?❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏
I'm a teacher that works with students all on different levels of the spectrum. Soothing music and a sensory light works. I have a sensory room to relax my students and it works. Try it and if you have to adjust it for her then you can.

Veya has to be cared for because she doesn't understand on whats going on. Shell learn so much but need all the help she can get. Mentally disabled is more challenging than physically disabled.
I wouldn't care if she was still recording, sometimes u have to put ur foot down if not she will do that until the morning time. She knows exactly what she's doing. She knows if she cry mom will stay there and do that, if mom stop she will get used to it and stop crying. She's more work than Byron, but mom does well with her

Greetings Dear, I am 63 and taught Early Childhood for over 30 years. Though I am not an expert and don't have ALL your information, one thing I notice is Minnie Mouse. Did you know inanimate objects can be terribly frightening for young children? You shared a video with a doll but not a beautiful brown doll that looks like you or her! Look at Minnie with that long snout! You have Minnie Mouse sheets! A Minnie Mouse chair! Try to eliminate those. I feel so bad for her - IF that is the problem. She's scared. I pray this is helpful but I mean NO harm.

And then when she falls out on the floor gently lift her up, place her in the bed and put a light sheet over her not a heavy one like a comforter type.. put something that she likes in there like some type of cuddly bear that she's not afraid of and that new sippy bottle that you just bought her.. Then when she wakes up in the morning she will know where she's supposed to be waking up at, but after she falls out and you put her in the bed make sure you rubbing her back plus the back of her lil' pretty neck/ head..& she will give out a heavy yet comfortable deep breath, is when you know she is okay and in the deep Sleep enough for you to walk away and get you some rest! I have 3 Autistic kids and my oldest is 21-13. And my youngest slept with me til she felt comfortable to get in her own bed and she was 12 and half. Play classic muisc anc jazz music and that will also help her to sleep and put like a stars nightlight in her room and see if it helps

I can tell you right now she hates that chair because it hurts her legs! It's cutting off the circulation in her legs! I hate those papasan-shaped chairs. They hurt my legs, too.
